hey there, you haven't done anything wrong, cause TWRP recovery can't flash INT2EXT
I've tested all and it wasn't working
you have to flash int2ext with cwm

This was my method to fix my problem of int2ext4+ not working, see my tutorial here on how to get things running: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311528

Good morning,
I have a little problem. I want to install Swype beta on this device, because the pre installed version of Swype it's pretty much out of date.
But Swype installer doesn't offer anything, because Swype is pre installed.
If i take just the apk from my desire HD it works but isn't able to use German language, only tells me, that it's not working...
But my mom, who owns the device, doesn't need Spanish or English but German.
so what can i do to make Swype installer work and offering me the latest beta?
Thanks in advance

I don't have cwm on it and haven't found a way to get cwm working. Last time i read in this forum there was just a temporarily solution for cwm on this device. didn't work with ROM manager either. But to be honest, I didn't try anything, because all over the thread they said, it ain't working permanently, just until next reboot :-/
Isn't there another solution?

sure thing buddy, here ya go in the attatchment, just select update from SD via Stock recovery and viola you got a working CWM for SGY
Remove system/lib swype related file thereafter ,u can install the latest.
Dl the attachment oh yea. Maybe u can cut off the swipe then push a new one to the system

And this will give me permanent recovery?
So I can flash ROMs as much as I wish and battery mods etc pp?
This would be awesome - I'll check it out
Is there any real difference between GT-S5360 and Y S5360?
This recovery looks weird on this phone, but hey, it's working.
Since I'm at the point where it's working, which ROM could you guys recommend?
But while backing up, it told me it couldn't mount /data - so the backup isn't complete, is it?
Well apparently it's not permanently, because I have to apply the update.zip every time to get cwm. But well, it's better than nothing.
btw: I just took an older version of swype from my desire hd (still newer than the one by samsung) and just installed it (it's a version where the german language pack was already included)

I'm not sure about flashing a custom rom. Because IF something goes wrong, I don't believe the backup won't work, since while making the backup it said, it couldn't mount /data - so I'm not sure that the backup will work if I restore it...
If you're on stock rom just uninstall pre-installed Swype (needs root) before installing Swype Beta. That's it.

If you mean the update.zip which is supposed to give a real CWM, yes, I tried it and it gave me a real CWM - though only temporarily. After a reboot into recovery you'd have to flash it again but was enough to flash a selfmade battery mod

The phone regularly reboots on me. I'd consider myself pretty decent when it comes to rooting/flashing, but I've been babied with the Nexus devices.
I'm willing to wipe the whole phone and start fresh, can I get a step by step on what to do to ensure I don't deal with this problem? Bootloader is unlocked and I have S-Off.
I'd ideally like to have CM 10.1, but at this point I'll gladly run whatever ROM is the most stable.

I didn't, but I do have s-off, so the installation scripts should be flashing boot.img
Regardless, I'll try it again and do the following. let me know if there's something I'm missing here:
Using TWRP:
- format data/cache
- flash boot.img
- flash CM 10.1
- profit
Anything else I should keep in mind? Certain order I should follow?

Thank you. I think the problem is over, however i found that the phone will shut off when using Camera sometimes (nightly 24 Dec)
I have installed Viper X 4.0.0 using a full wipe and after it has successfully installed and reboots the phone does not proceed post the HTC white boot screen. I had left the phone on that screen for more than 10 minutes before rebooting back to recovery. I have now reverted back to fresh install of 3.8.0 and all is working.
Any help and advice would be much appreciated

yes,i did it like this
1.fastboot erase cache
2.fastboot flash boot boot.img (the new one )
3.fastboot erase cache
4. flash via cwm with full wipe
Yes of course i did that..
I tried wiping 5 times, flashing viper boot. Img and also tried custom kernel ( alexV)
Its a strange problem!
If the boot img is not good we would have a boot loop
But when the system tries to boot, it goes to recovery after the htc logo
Am now back to blade sense 5 rom untill hia problem is resolved

Yeah, I've experience that too. I have tried installing the new version 4.0.1 yet I got into bootloop. Any ideas why this happens?
Note: I don't have any problem installing other roms using sense 5. This is not for comparing, I love Viper X but don't know why.
Suppose you all checked the md5 ?

same problem, i already flashed kernel then flashed ROM, but it's always stuck ini HTC logo or even worst just restarting into the same HTC logo..
please help
A bit late to the show but...
Remember that not just do you have to install the ROM, but you need to flash the boot.img too. Yes, this is a two-step process!
Easy...Install ROM from CWM or equivalent. Also, you must extract the boot.img from the ViperX4.x.x.zip file on your PC.
Copy the boot.img to your fastboot folder (you have one more than likely on your PC if you followed just about any thread ever...).
Flash this file to your phone (after fastboot usb selected) by typing from CMD Prompt: flashboot flash boot boot.img
for further see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605720
and if no luck try: http://www.guidingtech.com/12705/solve-boot-loop-htc-one-x-custom-rom/

Try the custom sense 5 rom which are the most stable >>>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1536
i dont know weather philz cwm recovery ALLOWS TO get connection to the sd-kart,flash the TWPR ,then you have acsess to the storage aftermount through the recovery;copy a sense 5 rom then, install it,after this flash the correct boot.img from your rom with fastboot, must run then.
I say to you to take a sense rom becouce for beginners they are running better, without problems. You have to read read and read man;learn about the things.
good luck

CM aborts probably because it's missing your bootloader line in the build.prop file....if you also post the error it would be more helpful !!!
Pick a sense rom, copy it to the sdcard. Flash the boot.img from the rom...then perform a FULL wipe in recovery and install the rom.zip
Reboot and enjoy.....

(I'm a noob, please keep that in mind) Whenever i want to install a rom with android 4.3 or above, my phone goes into a bootloop. It plays the startup animation from the rom and then stays stuck. I tried deleting cache and did a factory reset. When i install a 4.2 rom, my wifi doesn't work.. This happend after i unlocked the bootloader, i thought it would be over after I installed a custom rom but it didn't. So I'm kinda stuck to 4.1 now. I don't have any backups made from my stock rom... (retarded). Someone please give me the golden tip
Thanks in advance.
