but where's the fun in that? ;p jk, it is a pretty solid and interesting launcher. and swapping setups in a click is a great idea, but putting in a little work and making a screen that is nothing like anyone elses is very satisfying as well.
not sure what you mean by "you get more options" ? more than the MyColorscreen website?

yeah Buzz Launcher is cool but you might as well just do it yourself with the fact that most designs need the UCCW files

Ok, I got the themes thing down. Now I'm seeing different lock screens, different homescreen menus, as far as the bottom of the screen with phone, internet, mail and things like that. How can I get the ones I'm liking?

you can also flash themes. those change lockscreens, and other non-apk things that theme chooser can't. not sure what ur talking about 'bottom of the screen'.
I just flashed cyanogenmod and at the bottom of the main screen I have a phone icon, menu icon and the internet icon. But I've seen others that have phone, Gmail, internet and a few others

That is all in the settings of the launcher you are using. I'm using launcher pro and have a different layout with the matted blues theme. Lock screen is widgetlocker. (Highly recommend) With battery status widget and minimal text widget.
I think you're talking about docks, widgetlocker themes, and whatnot. These aren't included in themes, people gather them from different places and put them together.
Depending on what home app you're using, you may be able to change the dock background. All home replacement apps (at least the major, reputable ones) allow for changing of dock icons. Head over to the Android Themes section and check out the stuff there. The "Post Your Homescreen" thread would be a good place to look and get ideas. I'm sure there's some noob guide to theming.
If you want your lockscreen to look like the screenshots you see, get Widgetlocker. It's around $2, but more than worth it. There's a thread of themes to change your sliders, check it out if you decide to buy the app. Also check out the FAQ thread for WidgetLocker to help you figure it out.
The three most popular home replacement apps are LauncherPro/LauncherPro Plus, ADW Launcher/ADW Ex, and Go Launcher Ex. My personal favorite is ADW Ex, a lot of people are die-hard LP+ users. I personally don't care for Go, it felt kind of clunky and tacky to me, but a lot of people like it because it has the features of paid launchers for free.
All of the home apps I mentioned allow for changing the dock background except for the free ADW (as far as I know). You can find dock backgrounds and icons here on xda in the themes section.
Have fun!

And here are the icons if you want to use them I did not make these. All credit goes to ManUp. He did a great job on them. Do not flash this zip, just open it up and the icons will be there.

Not at all, actually I was gonna ask you where you got the 960*800 MB wall. When I was on CM7, I would only run the nightlies that Matted Blues was compatible with... absolutely my favorite theme evar. The only version of that wallpaper I could find was too small, you mind attaching it for me?
I wear dresses and wax my eyebrows, but that doesn't make Matted Blues girly

Ok so the only thing I actually miss from iOS is the lockscreen info that you can easily have displayed (and subsequently scroll thru) Is there anything similar that I can use on the Galaxy SII?
I've used widget locker or whatever it's called, but it's not really the same. And since it also just "lays over" the stock lockscreen it messes up regularly for me. For example if you hit the unlock button twice within 5 seconds there is noticeable lag while the locker widget thing catches up. I can't deal with that at all lol so I took it off. Hopefully there is something better that I don't know about?
I'd actually really like to know this as well...
Try magic locker. I think it works better and has some nice themes like ios
ive done a very long search for this very thing. Get "flyscreen" its like ios5 notifacations but its ics themed....its awesome!

Interesting. I've been using WidgetLocker and have been pretty pleased. But I think I will give flyscreen a try.
I was watching this Youtube video, and saw this theme this guy had. It's really slick and I want it. Anybody know what it is?

Pretty sure that's Tiff84's 'nothing but the honey' theme. It DOES look great, but it reminds me too much of....well... Honeycomb.
["hip", "hip"]
Its not themed. The lockscreen is widget locker,or magic locker or something, the UI is stock, he is using beautiful widgets.
EDIT: If your talking about that circular widget thing, he says its "ultimate favorites"

Looks kinda cool, but a little cartoonish.
I was looking at the market pictures and it looked cartoonish, I installed anyways just to see why it got good reviews. I guess the cartoon look is an icon pack, because when I installed it doesn't look cartoonish at all. It actually looks really sharp.
I like that it's different with 2 dock bars, 3 row docks at the bottom like other launchers and another in the middle. You can hide the middle bar by swiping down on it. Still messing with it, but it might actually replace my Go Launcher...
Adw ex FTW
I just discovered (a new one to me) ss launcher. It is completely different than any other launcher I've used. Its definitely worth checking out if you are into trying new looks. Its pretty cool to have such a great selection of launchers these days other than the "big 3"- ADW, LP, and go which are all awesome but essentially work and look very similar. Thanks OP for suggesting this one. I will check it out.

I just want a freaking launcher to look clean, sharp, and have the ICS screen switch transitions. You know the one that makes it look like the next screen comes from underneath. Give me that and it is perfect.

cool concept. i dont like having multiple swipeable (word?) areas. its pretty much a pretty ui for folders on my main screen. not a terrible idea, would be my second choice to the tops (Go, ADW, LPP) over stuff like metro ui or ssLauncher

I wonder is it possible to remove the screen indicator dot. This is the only thing I don't like about TW. Everything else is awesome. No, I do not want to use NOVA, Launcher pro, or any other launcher. I know that the EPIC 4G Touch, Calkulin, a recognize DEV, found a way to remove it. Not sure if is possible for our G-NOTE II.
Resolve: Here is the link, download the ns_no_pi_tw.zip and flash it.

Yup
You can, you have to decompile the apk and make some edits. There's some guides around here somewhere, the only thing is the files won't be exact matches so you'll have to do some searching in there to find the lines to edit. You can remove the dots, add landscape and change the grid sizes among other things like changing out the icons etc.

Apktool should work just fine. I haven't modified tw launcher in a long while but it's just like any other apk. If I'm not mistaken calkulin has an older guide buried in the et4g section that should give you a rough guide of which lines to search for to edit, just remember they won't be exactly where they are in his guide so it'll take a little hunting if you don't have a source editor with a search feature. I'm not sure if the windoze version of notepad++ has the search function since I work in Linux when I'm modding stuff. But I don't think there's really any major differences between the win/lin versions. I'm not really a dev just a hobbiest. I'm not one for titles, I just like to mod my phone to make it mine.

Check chef central in the main forum list here on XDA. There's also dsixda kitchen which has many useful tools, including the ability to convert nandroids into flashable rom zips. There's tommytomatoes android utility, another great tool with many features including an apktool and last but not least rujelus23's AIO for apk modding, found on his site which you can link too thru one of his many threads in the et4g section. A quick google search of any of the dev+tool names+xda should take you right to their respective threads as well as detailed instructions on how to setup and use each one. Then you can choose which suits your needs and setup best, or try them all. I actually use all 4 plus some xtras as each has it's strengths and weaknesses and it never hurts to have extra tools when you're working on a stubborn project.
