[Q] Sim card slot?

Hi,
I just purchased a Galaxy S3 on eBay but I just realiced that the phone is from Sprint!
I'm wondering that if the Galaxy S3 comes with a SIM card slot or not.

Your best bet would be to sell the phone on Craigslist this is probably the fastest way to earn back your money so that you can purchase one with a sim card. Good Luck

s3 and mvno

which mvno's can be used with the att variant of the s3? im interested in h2o and simple mobile, but wondering what company i can just pop a sim card into the phone and will work wihtout having to unlock the phone

Straight talk should work by just popping in the sim.

I'm using Straight Talk with mine... Been 2 months.. No problems... I am currently testing different and variations to achieve faster Internet speeds...

Your voice and sms will work, but to get data and mms work you must enter att.mvno as your apn

Will att unlock my phone?

My brother bought his phone outright from att and I want to use it on tmobile, will they unlock it since it's paid for or will they make it a hassle?

u should ask this in the AT&T Galaxy s4 forum... you'll get a quicker and accurate response

1 should be posted in Q and A, and 2 you may have more luck posting in the ATT section. There may be someone here to help, but thr majority of us are on tmobile and have been for a while. But there is a couple of people who have jumped ship recently.

AT&T has a far less restrictive policy when it comes to unlocking phones verses T-Mobile, even after the "international travelers" change. When I unlocked a phone from AT&T it was all taken care of via online chat - and the phone was not paid off, still early in contract.

Actually a 1 minute call to AT&T would probably get you the answer quickest.

Noob questions about apn

I have an ATT unlocked s3 so what are the setting i need to run it on t mobile network i talked to a sales rep and he told me it would only be 2g when i switch and they add all that to the phone when i switch over... thats little weird to me any suggestions?

Att gs3 on tmobile only works on 2g i believe

You're wrong. I'm using a unlocked att s3 with s StraightTalk T-Mobile Sim and I'm getting there HSPA+ speeds.

Actually if you flash the new T-Mobile premium suite 4.1.2 directly on att i747
Everything works new style 4g icon
Same everything and Wifi calling works
The phones are so close in relation that its all compatible
Hspa+is displayed as 4g
Read about it the package was just released recently

To flash you need to root it correct? and when i put in a t mobile sim card from a co worker i got 4gs speed ? so maybe the tmobile is just saying that to try and sell a phone
