Now every once and a while when god answers my prayers i can take a good photo. are there settings that will help my issue?

I dont have this issue so I dont know. Maybe your camera lens is smudged up? An example of a photo you took might help.

[Q] Sideways pictures?

I did a quick search and didn't find anything about this problem, but if this question has been asked before, I apologize.
Anyways, When I take pictures in portrait mode they show up fine on the device, but they are rotated sideways if they are viewed on the computer. I also experience this issue about every 4th time I share a portrait photo on Twitter. I know I can rotate each photo individually on the computer, but that is a pain.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Also, it isn't phone specific because I had the same problem on my Epic 4G Touch.
Having the same issue when trying to upload to Instagram. Could really use some help on this 1. Didn't have problem until I came to jellybean. I'm stock unrooted

Instagram has a rotate button once you crop the picture.
I've always had this problem with 2 Samsung Galaxy phones.
I went through and manually rotated each portrait photo on my computer today to upload to Snapfish.
I hope there is a solution to this.
Yea I know about the rotate button on Instagram. Even though I use that it still uoads sideways. I just decided to take all pictures in Landscape.

Seems like it would be a format/read issue that would need an extensive rewrite of the code to fix. The camera is probably taking the pics as you see them on the computer and the phone is reframing them as instucted from when the pic is taken. Have you tried placing pics from your computer onto your phone that are turned 90ยบ clockwise?
I was having the same issue but it you take all the pics in "Landscape" mode where the camera button is to the right, they come out fine and upload fine as well. Portrait mode is set to landscape as well. Sucks but that is how it is.

Lock screen shortcut problem?

Hi all. I just wondered if anyone could help me out with this problem i'm having.
When on the lock screen you can usually just pull the ring on to the camera in case you need to make a quick snap shot. But after the Jelly Bean update, every time I try use it, it freezes for around 5-6 seconds rendering the shortcut useless I suppose. Only happens with the camera app and nothing else for some reason.
Anyone have any ideas of what could solve this? Such a small problem but it's a really annoying one.
Cheers.
Did you make an hard reset when you upgrated to Jelly?
There is to say that the problem there is also in custom rom...
So, it may be an htc issue rom

I haven't done a hard reset because of fear of just losing everything... not very good with all this stuff, usually just find a quick or easy fix for things.
When it comes to going a bit deeper to trying to fix something i'm lost.
Goes without saying I haven't rooted my phone or anything, so there wouldn't be any problems it that area.
Any thought's on how else I could fix this, pal? thanks.
I don't know how to fix, so i usually don't use the camera so i don't have this on shortcuts...
I also have the same issue

Taking up close pictures

Whenever I try to take close up pictures of anything it doesn't focus correctly and always come out blurry, does anybody know how to fix this problem or have a alternative? Thanks
I personally never had a problem focusing on close up pictures unless it's in low light without using the flash. Hm.. Try zooming in a little bit at a time, at the same time pull back the phone slowly.

Q: What's displayed *in call* on your 360?

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with my 360 and I could use some help. I asked this question before but got no responses so I am going to try to reword it in an effort to get a better response.
When you are "in call", meaning AFTER you have received and accepted a call, either from the watch or from the phone, what is displayed on your 360's screen?
What is displayed after you hang up the call? I'm particularly interested in behavior when the watch is sitting in the charger as well.
Please help; I am trying to determine if there is an issue with my watch and what is the default behavior. I have other issues with this particular watch and I am trying to make a case fro replacement with Moto.
Thanks for your time!
Please help! This is the second time I've posted this question and received absolutely no response. If you could just take a second, it would be a big help.

When I receive a call, and answer from my 360, the watch goes back to my watchface. Hanging up doesn't change anything on my watch.
Thanks for your reply, Ramer.
Yeah mine just goes back to the watchface when I'm in call whether I answer on my phone or watch.
Thanks Powell, mine behaves differently and I'll post a screen shot tomorrow to explain what I'm talking about. I appreciate your response. Do either of you have Google keep installed?

I do.
I thought maybe it was Keep so I uninstalled it but it made no difference. I finally got a chance to grab a screenshot of what I'm seeing. (Caller name is intentionally pixelated for privacy). Have you ever seen this? I don't have anything installed that should provide note taking support (except Keep, which was uninstalled at the time I took the screen shot). If I don't manually swipe this away, it will be on screen until I do, even when it is in the charger and I'm not wearing it - and it stays on screen at full brightness too.
Weird. And I'm beginning to feel like the only one now!

Camera issue?

I've been on here for some time now and never bothered asking this question, I've always wrote it off as how the phone works. But i have to ask now, as is driving me crazy.
Is the camera normal to take a good while to focus? Mine does since i can remember, stock rom or not, doesn't matter. It takes a good 20 sec or so to focus. Is this the norm? And/or a fix or solution? Thanks!
