any chance of a linaro compiled slimbean? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

is it possible for this device?

Of course it is! Why do you need Slim to be linaro-compiled though? It's already one of the fastest ROMs out there.

I thought it'd be cool lol and because we only have one linaro rom in our forums and that's mysterious aokp

AOKP and CM9 have been built from source for a while now..what are you guys talking about? If you are refering to the kernel source that just dropped then Times has built one and incorperated it into his 7-11 release. I think you guys are confused and need to read more before posting.
Cannot wait for some CM10! Its about time we got source. Samsung promised this by March initially. Been a long 3 months. Lol

C'mon people the thread was meant to be light hearted and fun, to talk about what we're excited to see.
I think the long wait has made some people a bit edgy.

Only two that I know are Agat/Chris41g stock compile and AOKP. CM9 when I checked this morning was still off of AOSP.
Will be keeping an eye and updating as I see them.

I don't. Whitehawkx built one a while back. Didn't run to well
In the video describing what it was it looked like some revolutionary software that would change technology forever.. But in actuality it did little to nothing to improve performance

Sure would love to have a Linaro build!! Why not?!?! There are some many vanilla roms out there why not having at least one build of Linaro! Sidekick you been kanging cm10, cm9, aokp. Do you think this is something you could put on your builds? Maybe is not as hard as it looks

Unofficial AOKP

What's up guys. I build AOKP every couple of days. They're on my goo acct for anyone that wants to flash between official builds or when hawkx or whoever builds. Anyway, I built tonight with some new stuff from a I9300 4.2.1 leak. All the work was done by others, including kejar31 from carbon devs, I just grabbed the goods. This build is very smooth so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Pure vanilla AOSP

I dont know about anyone else but I would love to see a pure vanilla AOSP rom. The way google intended it.i guess like cm but without all the extras. I had that on my g2x stock and my s2 thanks to eugene373. So I was hoping some would wipe one up here for us. I would but my skills dont go that far. Just thinking out loud.
There's root box in the original dev section and if you look in general there is a beta super nexus ROM.

rootbox is far from pure AOSP

I guess then cm would be the best. I mentioned root box because it doesn't have quite as many tweaks as carbon, or Ls, or then other aosp roms in our section.

sweet. I did see the supernexus thread but since it wasnt in dev section I didnt look at it. I will have to check it out after I post. And when you say the dev is compiling now are you refering to the supernexus dev or is there something else in the works? And thanks for all the quick answers.
hey thread is locked it says that there is a official build out. Build 4 but I cant seem to find it in any of the dev sections. So right now I am trying out the test build but I would like to use the latest one. It was a few days ago that the thread was closed. Am I missing it. I checked the first two pages of both dev fourms.
