[Q] Accidentaly deleted all stock apps - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but when I installed a ROM on my Note 2, I lost my Titanium backup files and doing so I also lost all of the Samsung stock apps from my phone (as they weren't included with the ROM). Is there anywhere I can download these? I just recently switched to Android from iOS so I'm still adjusting. The only app I really need from the stock apps, was S Note, if anyone knows where I can find the APK.

Stock application and not included in rom?
I didn't get it
Anyway you can Reflash rom to restore stock application

It was the LiquidSmooth ROM. But I believe it didn't include the Samsung stock apps, but is there anyway I can get them back?

No.

Liquidsmooth is not a samsung based rom so there is no samsung apps. You need to flash a samsung based rom if you want to use samsung stock apps.

What software version/ROM are u running?
This is a stock kernel, does not change anything. If you flash the correct one for your stock ROM, it shouldn't run that hot.

Before I flashed this kernel, I could see the pictures I've taken but I can't anymore. Is it the kernel or something wrong with my flash..?

It seems you wanna root your phone so that able to remove all bloatware but wanna keep as stock as possible.
You could go visit dr.ketan thread and there has the rooting method you are looking for. After your phone being rooted, you can install titanium backup( free version from google play) and remove all the bloatware. After that, unroot your phone by follow dr.ketan guide. Done.
No, with custom kernal you wont able to get ota or kies update.
Good luck mate.

Recommend me a Custom ROM please

I would prefer if it was as close to stock as possible, all I change is touchwiz to Apex to give me custom rows and columns nothing too fancy
Currently have 4.1.2 stock
I would also need the camera in full working order
Thanks for your advise
Cheers

Can i use Odin to flash this? Cos thats like sooo easy
Thanks
Download directly from your device then boot into recovery. Then simply wipe / factory reset. Then flash! Please make a backup before doing so.

Well, I have tried a lot of roms and the best i have came upon was the omega rom. nearly as close to stock as the only change i have found was the toggles icon and color was changed to a blue one and if you want awesome battery go for the perseus kernel 36.something
I've never used ODIN to flash only to root

I have restored the back up I created prior to flashing with this ROM....I noticed it took several minutes on the SAMSUNG logo before comeing on
I did wait about 5 minutes when i turned on phone after flashing this new ROM should I have given it more time?
5 minutes should be enough. did you try checking the MD5 for it?

Anyone show me or tell me if there is a flashable stock att ROM i can use ?

This site has all the released official roms:

Organized by device and carrier. But the latest official rom has a very unfriendly bootloader and security system. Think twice amigo.
