[Q] China ROMS? - HTC One V

MOD EDIT: Link removed.
Does anybody knows anything about this???

This seems like kang, I even saw myonev there
Ckpv5 please can you check it?
What's with this brush recovery?
Sent from my Oneā„¢ V using xda-developers-app

I have also saw that. They have a slim bean rom more recently may be that lloir production. I don't know what think. Is it a good realisation? Is anybody try it?

I would say that people who flash a ROM from a forum they can't read are likely to get more than they paid for.
I am going to remove the link in the first post and close this thread.
Thank you,

[Kernel] Repacking

I have repacked Fauxs latest (007u) Kernel for CM10 Alpha 10 and had posted it the official thread for the ROM. But I removed it to stop any complications.
If anybody is looking for it and wanting to try it and use it for this ROM here is the link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/j93vpoioguvogh0/Endeavoru-Faux123-007u.zip
Hope this helps some people. It's all I planned.
All work is done by Faux and his team. None by me except repacking. I hope this helps!

oops where do I post this then? Thanks for the heads up.
Please, dont create another thread just for one kernel. The forum will get alot of topics if everybody do this. And besides, most of the people over the age of 5 can repack it themself.

[Q] AOKP Build 40 Download?

I've gone to teh AOKP site but nothing is there. Just says read on about this build....
Link: I<I would post the link to the aokp build but new users can't>
Anyone able to help me find this?
Also, I've hear Rom Manager is unsafe to use for Rom Flashing so what about Rom Toolbox Pro?
I still have not installed my first Rom and I just want it to go well.
Also if anyone can point me to any other files needed for Build 40 AOKP I'd be greatful.
Cheers.
Make sure to read up before flashing a ROM. Make sure it is for your device.
If you have a sprint SGS3 go to original dev section and look for AKOP.

Ok I found the AOKP thread. I am not sure how to fully go about this. Is there a firmware I need for this? Also, could someone explain firmware to me as in do you need it for Roms? Do firmwares just change speed? What is their purpose?

Don't mean to sound like an a-hole but do a little search.

Looking for Oxygen ROM

Does anyone perhaps still have a flashable ZIP for the latest Oxygen ROM? If I remember correctly, it was 2.3.2... I lost all my installation files a while back and I want to put Oxygen back on my Desire again, but the Oxygen site seems to have been taken down. Can anyone help me out?
Got it on my box: https://www.box.com/s/9ld1nm34vkl0o40im39n
There is also latest stable kernel.
Thanks k3lcior, that's awesome. Greatly appreciated.
Was uploading one but beaten to it. Anyway, another copy at http://www.sendspace.com/file/ipvso7

Yes I have it. PM me and I will share it via google drive.
What's oxygen's official site guys?????? I'm too lazy to google...
Could a forum moderator perhaps lock this thread for me please? Anybody that actually bothers to read it will know I got what I was looking for months back... I don't see any way to lock my own thread from editing the OP.

For the mirror, it's OK. I speak about the official site. I remembered going there very often last year. But now, it's closed.

The point is I'm trying to rebuild this rom from their github. But when I launch my rom, the camcorder doesn't work. I remembered we can ask the developper team a lot of question on their forum and now we can't. That's all.

Help

Can Anyone Post A Simple Tutorial On How To Port Xperia Arc Rom To Xperia Ray "GB VERSION"
Tried JJ doctor Tutorial Dont work
THANKS :_)
Click the first link in my sig, scroll down to the section titled, "Development" then click one of the porting guide links, failing that a Google search of "how to port a ROM" should bring up any relevant info.
Sent from Myushi
Has the dev of the rom you want to port given his permission?
I'm only asking, because I've seen in the "Atomic GB" thread, that you have written to port XtremeSilencer's rom without his permission. So he certainly will report you if you port w/o permission to mods!
Here is what I'm talking about!
If I'm completely wrong, just correct me!
EDIT:
Okay, that's weird, the page from the link disappeared like it's been cleaned by a moderator!
Im not editing XtremeSilencer rom Im editing apkmartin rom i ask him he said its ok just give credits
yeah i know i asked the moderator to clean it !
cause peaple just post rubbish about porting rom without permission!

Coolest Rom?

I tried to install latest illusion and liquid JB 2.4 but dont like them, internet doesnt work on liquid jb and there is also no market app on either one, not sure if its the ROMS or my installation.
Now can any one plese help me to find the rom that has best features (good bettery life could be a bonus).
thanks in advance.
Your install process is way off. There are support threads and q&a's and instructions in the OP of the thread... No such thing as a "coolest rom" try them for your self with proper install procedures before saying they're ugly or don't work.

Coolest ROM?
That made me laugh.
You need to go through and pick which ROM or ROMs fit your needs. No one can pick a ROM for you, another members ideal ROM may not be your ideal ROM.
As for the installation process and having certain apps not being there or not working properly, you need to read the first post of the thread, also know as the OP. Reading it will let you know what to download and how to install/flash it through recovery.
Here's some advice that will save you in the future:
-read the first post/op of each thread
-have questions or problems with the ROM? Read the first and last 10 pages of the thread, if the problem isn't addressed or your question isn't answered, then politely ask for help.
-Google is your "friend", usually typing your issue followed by xda in the search bar and you'll find what your looking for

Ok thanks for your help guys. i'm not sure what i did wrong. here are the steps that did and one of you might be able to help me.
Downloaded odin and rooted and installed cwm through GalaxyS3RootUSCanada.zip (http://galaxys3root.com/galaxy-s3-r...gh-t999sgh-i747sph-l710-fail-proofnoob-proof/)
Downloaded the Rom and installed it --> cleared cache etc.
Now is there a problem with installing CWM throuth this file?
Why didn't you just use the toolkit stickied in development? I know nothing about the software you linked to.

Maybe you should read the op before installing something.
Clearly says you have to flash gapps after flashing liquidsmooth. This is why you don't have the playstore.

Agree here. Never understood why folks would go to that site, then come here to find support for it.
Either root66 or cf-autoroot is the best and easiest imo.

Beats me but I won't give support for things sourced outside of XDA. Not just because XDA always has the best but because I know nothing about external offerings.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Khanbaba59, there is no "cool rom" so to speak. You have to read up on which is best for you, then try them. Be sure to READ the OP on installation process to avoid anything going wrong.
As your questions have been answered, I will close this now as it will cause confusion and bickering about roms.
