Go to Windows Marketplace n get Zenonia
I bought this for £6 when I would usually rather leech n test first.
The reviews and screenies for this adventure persuaded me otherwise.
I must say Zenonia is the BEST game I have ever played as a Native Windows mobile App.
If you ever got on with Zelda on SNES - this is the way forward. I have not had emotional attachment like this to a top down RPG bash the baddies game since......1992!
I would suggest everyone buys it - then hopefully the dev - Gamevil - will release more magic.
(it was an iphone game which they ported over)

Hello. My name is catcraig and I'm a recovering Zeldaholic.
This might be a stupid question, but how did you get an iphone app installed on a winmo phone? I would definitely pay for it if I could figure out how to get it.
it seems gamevil ported the game to winmo, and tp2 is one of the devices they tested on
i think it is available on marketplace

I have a Touch Diamond 2 so touch only. Can you play this game touch only?
Is there any version of Tetris or Kevtris that works with the tp2? If so is there a virtual d-pad that you have to install also?
Duke Nukem 3D using the spvDuke3d port works quite well. It supports WVGA, but not by default, you have to edit the CFG file.
I use the following settings:
[Screen Setup]
ScreenMode = 1
ScreenWidth = 400
ScreenHeight = 240
Shadows = 0
Password = ""
Detail = 1
Tilt = 0
Messages = 1
Out = 0
ScreenSize = 15
ScreenGamma = 16
(I'm not sure why the width and height are set to half, but that's what gets it to work. Setting it to 800x480 ends up with it going off screen and only a quarter of the image showing up. Perhaps changing screen size would change that?)
Info here on how to set it up for full audio:
http://www.modaco.com/content/smartphone-software-games/109621/spvduke3d-v0-4c-with-sound-music-now/
thanks drdrbuzz. i'll try it.
to add a few more:
warcraft 2
jackpot casino
dupewars
bejewled 2
I have the following games and they work fine:
Prince of Persia
Spiderman Toxic City
Assassins Creed
NBA 2010

[for devs] Sunburn Gaming Engine Demo for WP7

Nice!!!! Check it out. What does this mean?? Snapdragon 1 as some hope to running some sweet games? Or a fancy demo that will never flourish??
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf8rKauvYac&feature=player_embedded
read the article here
Synapse Gaming has ported their Xbox Live gaming Engine, SunBurn to Windows phone 7.
The engine supports all all the features and systems the hardware is capable of supporting, and allows a game to run across all three platforms without any modifications,
On Windows Phone 7 the engine supports:
• Diffuse and emissive mapping
• Volume lighting
• Bloom / post-processing
• Baked-down lighting on static objects (see below)
• Composite lighting on dynamic objects (see below)
• Collisions
• Use the same scenes, light rigs, code, tools, and api on Windows, Xbox, and Windows Phone 7
SunBurn 2.0 also includes in-editor baked-down lighting, which generates light maps that render with none of the overhead of the real-time lighting (rendering nearly for free). This makes highly detailed lighting and shadows possible on Windows Phone 7 (which does not support dynamic lighting and shadows).
Several Windows phone 7 games have already been released using the engine, including Salty Jim’s Putt Putt Island, UpAway and Blast.
To learn more, and see SunBurn WP7 games and demos in action, go to SunBurn for WP7

and major wp7 exclusive titles comming up. give it one year, people need to learn,
wp7 need to advance and improove, open up more..
but we will get all of this, im sure...
I think that golf game is in the market place, its Salty Jims Putt Putt Island
Aw man, I'd love to have those demos on my phone. It looks amazing. Do you guys plan on making the demos available?

[Wish list] Wanted games and apps on WP7

Would like to see Real Racing on WP7. It is the defacto best simulator car racing game on any smartphone. It is like Gran Turismo for portables. Currently it is only on iPhone/iPad.
I'd love to play on my WP7 Mango phone:
- Real Racing or another racing game with good graphics and cars
- FIFA 12
- Halo or another FP shooter with good graphics (see the upcoming Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation for the iOS)
- Grand Theft Auto-like game
- Point & Click Adventure like 1112 for the iOS or the old FADE for Pocket PC
- Monkey Island
GameList
RPG Games a lot of them like:
-Inotia
-Pokemon
-Golden Sun
or something like that
-Gangstar
-9mm
-Prince of Persia Warrior Within
-Infinite Blade
-Cut the Rope
-Farm Frenzy 3
-Hero of Sparta
-Dungeon Hunter 2
Thanks
Some kind of data monitor, so I can see how much data I've used. Like 3gwatchdog for android.
Hulu plus
Madden
hoteltonight
Cut the Rope
jewel quest
A Halo and Gears or war Tower defense game
Some real multiplayer games
A good NFL app
Megaman
Street Fighter
Super Mario
Metal Slug
Or something like that
Back to the Future: The Game
Puzzle Agent 1 & 2
Minecraft Portable.
Crono Trigger
Wagic the Homebrew
or Magic the Gathering...
Crack the code
Sent from my 7 Mozart T8698 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
Magic The Gathering Online
Shadow Era
Good RPGs (Diablo, KOTOR, LOTR:The Two Towers GBA)
- incall recorder
- call block
- program for ping, trace, finger, lookup etc. (like vxUtil in WM6.5)
It is interesting that %99 of what people have listed are games.
Does this mean that %99 percent of your productivity base is covered?
Or does every one view there phone as a entertainment device?
On the same though i never downloaded a game for 6.5 but have downloaded more games on my WP7 then i had programs on 6.5 and yet WP7 does not do nearly as much useful work that my 6.5 did.
Oh my list:
Call Black
vxUtil type program
Data monitor
more APIs (blue tooth, ad hoc)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get Project 83113 to work on my N7. Works just fine on my phone, but it crashes upon opening on my tablet. Also, Cytus is not entirely free; the first 3 songs are free, but the other 15 or so are only unlocked by paying for it.
Edge is another fun puzzle game that's free; there's a pay version that adds another ~50 levels, but the free version is plenty fun and challenging.
If you like Cytus, and/or are a fan of the PC game Stepmania (essentially DDR/ITG for your fingers), there's a free game called Beats that uses Stepmania .sm files.
Lastly, I believe the original Pew Pew (Geometry Wars-esque arcade shooter) is free, though its sequel is not.

I installed Strikefleet Omega this moring and I'm hooked. I'm a few hours in but I think I'm only about halfway there.
My fav 2 free games
Best two free games for me atm are mutant roadkill and pyramid rising, both addictive and very fun games!
Try Agent Dash! Its just come out on the play store. Its an endless runner like Temple Run but looks and plays nicer!

+1...also games that don't require an internet connection would be nice. Where's my water and a few more need to be connected to wifi to continue playing which is a drag if you're not at home or near wifi.
Anyone know if there are any games like the Star Fleet Battles or Battletech board games?

SJPCOMPOSITION - Composition & Sound Design

Hello all,
I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Sam Price, I am a composer seeking developers to work with on apps that require either music or sound-effects. I split life between living in central London and Bristol in the UK.
About me
I recently graduated (2012) with a Master’s Degree in Composition from Bristol University – I have written hours of original music aside from my academic portfolios. I am an expert in East Asian and Japanese folk/traditional music (4 years of ethnographic research). I have worked/performed with some of the most famous names in Drum & Bass in the UK as well as some of the most respected Classical ensembles in the Europe. I am a diploma level Pianist as well as being a Singer (concentrating on technical singing – gospel, folk and classical (to an extent)).
My Music
Most recently I have finished composing / recording a Pokémon red/blue re-score:
‘POCKET MONSTERS RE-SCORE’ – 44 tracks (plus 1 bonus track) of original music that I have written to accompany the 1998 video game.
I decided to go for a more orchestral sound – to give the soundtrack a classic yet contemporary feel. You can listen/buy the full soundtrack on my Bandcamp website if you are interested:
sjpcomposition.bandcamp.com - I recommend the Battle themes.
youtube.com/watch?v=2yoT8n-Q74Y - for a short example of the Pokémon re-score with gameplay.
I work in a variety of mediums and genre/styles: Orchestral, Piano, Acoustic, live instruments, synth/electronic instruments, Radio (music, sfx, audio production), Ballet and Opera. I can compose to suit a brief and to a deadline.
Sound Design
I like to create custom sounds using real life stimuli – edited to suit the scene; I have mostly worked on Radio projects creating complete new/unique sounds to accompany the programme. I have found it important to create a sound palate that is just as considered as the music itself, to form a unique sound for the game/app.
Rates
My rates are negotiable and I like to stay flexible – for any quotes please send a proposal and I will respond as soon as possible.
If you are interested in collaborating and you want a soundtrack that is unique, memorable and immersive please contact me on [email protected], or if you are interested in hearing more of my music please don’t hesitate to contact me.
(My website is currently in development, but on the off-chance you are looking through old posts (hello future readers) my website is sjpcomposition.com
Cheers,
Sam
