Recently, my apps have been closing unexpectedly on any 4.2.2 CM based rom. Has anyone else experienced this?

If you are talking mostly about play store....seems that's become an issue. Haven't found a fix that works yet. I'm back on 4.1.2 and all is well.
Sent from my cell phone telephone....
I was experiencing those issues as well, but the 4/5 CM10.1 nightly fixed it for me.

I went back to sons of android build 4....no apps closing now.
If CM fixed it, the rest of the roms with this issue will follow with the fix soon.

What's the most stable ROM right now? I put the peoples ROM for one of my friends but they're having weird issues like screen bleeding and reboots. Not sure where else to look.

Very unusual issues for TPR. Have not had anyone else report those.

Sounds like voodoo color settings are off and an app is causing the reboots

yeah i did my best to read through the thread which was very long and no one had any of those issues...guess i'll put him on stock rooted..

Yeah it gets tough to find stuff there sometimes. Try a reflash without restoring apps or data and see how it runs

My wife's Epic is stock rooted GB and has been very stable. I had great luck with CM9, also very stable with nice features. I'm on CM10 now, and install the latest nightlies. Battery life with CM10 has been better, but every so often it sucks battery. I've had two or three reboots in a couple of months. Otherwise I have not had issues.
I guess right now my vote would be CM9 of stability is the most important thing.

I never tested the 4g speed, but it seemed pretty snappy. Battery life on CM9 was pretty good for me, maybe not quite as good as the stock rooted GB, but close.

My phone phone has shut down twice today for not apparent reason.
Once I had it sitting on my desk and the second time it was in my pocket.
I saw a video that it might be the battery connectors but in my case I was not able to replicate it.
So what else could it be?

I have been running stock rooted for a few months now and never had an issue until just a few days ago.
Running 4.2.1 + rooted nothing else flashed or changed.

As stated by another user, occasional reboots are "normal" on 4.2.1 but twice a day is a bit ridiculous.
If I may suggest a substitute ROM in which I don't really experience any reboots, it is pretty much stock with tweaks, no AOKP, CM10, PA, eye candy, just a fast stable ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821673
Yeah I really wouldn't mind a soft reboot or even a reboot once in a while but I have had 3 shut-offs in the last 2 days it wasn't even a reboot, which makes me wonder if it's hardware rather than software.
Thanks for the suggestion but at this point I really don't want to flash a ROM, I will most likely end up coming back to stock at some point if I do.

I found that uninstalling the last couple apps I installed stopped the sleep of deaths.

Double check that your kernel settings are stock and you haven't done any tweaks that could cause kernel panic
Heya,
Putting it quickly I've tried every radio out there for our phone from this thread. On every one the person on the other end of a phone call gets echos, and me going in and out like someone has the volume changing every few seconds.
I'm currently rooted, and using CM 10.0 Stable.
Any other radios out there I can try? Tips, advice?
Many thanks.
Try cm 10.1

Haven't done that. I could tho.
Both AOKP 4.2 and cm10.1 have fixed call echo and "underwater sound"...well at least for me and a bunch of other people running those ROMs.

It's stable but you need to flash the new radio UVMC6 for optimal connectivity.
I found it very buggy, smoothish, but suffered from a lot of sleep of deaths
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
I tried it an connectivity sucked I couldn't send or receive texts den flashed the new radio an connection worked but it was laggy for me too. Not as smooth as I liked

I tried it, but then I had a bunch of SODs and random reboots. I'll go back to RC2 with new radio and Cerux kernel.
I've been on 5/17, well, since 5/17. I was going to updated on Sat, and then today, but it's working so well I left as is. Everything is working great.
Are we getting RC3?

Same here.. Clean flash on 12/09 nightly and PAgapps.. Very smooth so far. Will use it as my DD tomorrow at work and see how it goes
Edit:
Well, so far the basics I use as well as the apps and games are working fine.. Also Triangle Away works with CM11.

Yes.. Unfortunately there is NO post other than this one.. If you go to the CM website depository and go to d2tmo you WILL see it.. I was on the 12/09 nightly and last night "dirty flashed" to the 12/12 and everything is great for ME!.. I used internet, SMS, calling on a daily basis.. Yes this is GENERAL usage but that's MY experience.. And its been FLAWLESS.. Let's keep this thread alive since a LOT of ppl and devs have moved onto another device.. I say that because I gave my wife my old S2 and there seems to be MORE support from devs there than here.. She's on a good 4.3 ROM and has a option for 4.4 (I haven't flashed cuz 4.3 works so well for a older device).. I love my s3 and when my wife gets the new Note3 I'm keeping the s2 cuz its a underrated device just like the HTC Leo was/is..

Cyanogen Version 10-20121117-NIGHTLY-dt2tmo
Working with UEMJC? (I have heard some ROMs can brick it )
Edit: Found that UEMJC is good for anything over 4.3. Actually flashing CM11 nightly today.
Just installed. Been using for about 4 hours and really haven't found any bugs yet.

Don't take me for an expert, but the CM website says to refer to d2tmo, so I believe it will work.
Battery life looks alright over here as well.
We do, however, need to get WiFi calling on this so that those who rely on it (not me, but others) can update to this.
