Back cover housing, ebay - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is an oem, it cost me 18 $. It has a red sticker inside, I took my phone apart mine was gray.
Why does this look like cheap quality? Was it a Samsung that didn't like the quality and threw it away?

I doubt it's 'oem', 99% of these replacement parts are just called 'oem or high quality' parts.

Does the red sticker matter? Like for warranty

If you disassemble your phone your warranty will be void regardless of where you got your housing. If you want to keep your warranty only get the housing replaced by the Samsung authorized center and they will only use their own housing, they won't accept the one you bought. Also, it's fairly easy to tell the difference between the original and the one on ebay.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium

I removed my housing from my phone. How would they tell? I dont see any warranty void indicators like htc.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2

Usually some wear on the screws would give away, probably some sort of product code on the housing that won't be present on the replacement. Put both the original and eBay housing side by side and try to compare the tiny details. I'm sure you'll see the differences, and if you can so will they...it's not that hard.

I put some wear on the screws where can I get new ones?

On the majority of devices, they add a 'moisture sticker' for warranty purposes. This white sticker turns red or pink if it has been submerged in water. Warranties usually do not cover water damage.
Likely this person doused their phone and is selling their old cover.

Dose the n7100 housing fit on a sgh-t889 note 2

mate do you know if that "Full Housing Battery Cover Samsung i9100 Galaxy S 2 II" includes the silver bezel bit on the front of the Galaxy S II?
Ask on ebay matey the best thing to do would be to ask the seller.

Gelaskins review

Review for "Gelaskins Enamored Owl Samsung Galaxy S III "
Hellur everyone, as you can see the gelaskin is pretty much a sticker that goes onto the body of your phone, be aware that with the gelaskins you dont get a screen protector so youll have to custom cut your own.
It took me at least 45 minutes to put this on, i dont have any fingernails so it was rough to apply it to the phone correctly
But all in all it smooths out easily and looks freaking awesome. Gives your phone a unique look and feeling.
I would rate this higher than any other phone skin, gelaskins customer service is also pretty reliable and awesome. Great place to get a phone or tablet skin.

I've always wondered about these. How do you view your content/screen through this? All I see is the design. Doesn't that get annoying?

The design is just a wallpaper matching the skin. Nothing is covering the display.
The skin is 3 parts:
The back skin
The front-top skin covering the earphone
The front-bottom skin covering the softkeys/home button
That's correct. Gelaskins let's you download the matching wallpaper with the phone skin. Pretty awesome, make sure you pick a design you wont get sick of.

Replacement bezel came without screw holes

So i have had a nightmare replacing this screen... the first one i ordered, the cabel wouldnt reach from the digitizer to the mainboard so i couldnt connect it, so i sent it back and got a refund, and now my second one is missing the little brass pieces that hold ALL the screws in place. I do still have the original bezel with the pieces but i have absolutely no idea how to get them out.
Any ideas/suggestions? I considered superguleing them in place but that is kinda a last resort
Thanks
No ideas guys? Really? Here are some pics of what I mean

Sent from my ADR6410LVW using xda app-developers app
They're probably glued in, so I would think it would be possible to remove them. It seems weird though that it wouldn't come with the screw holes. I would have thought that it would. If it's not too much trouble I'd move them to the new bezel, otherwise I'd get a refund and buy from a different place.

They both have a pretty good selection. I'd check to make sure the pics have the screw holes in them before you buy them. Amazon has a really good return policy, but I don't know about either of these as I've never bought from either.

[Q] Do I need to flash stock ROM to claim Samsung earphones

My right earbud is not outputting sound
AFAIK there is a 6 months warranty on accessories
So do I need to have stock ROM or is any stock based custom ROM OK?

Went to the service center
They "claimed" that my earphone had physical damage ( In reality it was just a cut )
And they told that they can't replace it
And there I thought Samsung was better than other companies
Will never buy a Samsung sh*t again

Try other gallery.
But samsung is dam irritating and frustrating to go service centre. It was better if samsung products are purchased without bill. We can actually use saved money for maintaining our device.

Are you guys worried about the gap??

Are you guys worried about your note 4 having a gap? after hearing about the first phones over seas having a gap between the screen and the metal frame. don't know what to think of it, I wanna get the note on the 17th, but am afraid to pre order the note just because I don't want to open my brand new phone to a gap..
Nope.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I'm not worried at all about it. I've had at least one spot, in every phone I've owned, that had a gap in it somewhere. If this is what it takes to bond metal to glass, I'm all for it. It actually states the gap is there in the manual, so it's a design feature. Check out this video about the gap.
www.youtube.com/embed/r3mNJCNnARo
If the glass was right up against the metal, the slightest drop would cause the screen to spider crack. The plastic had a little absorption abilities but metal will transfer any vibration directly to the glass...so you should be happy it is there...it shows they were thinking.
Had a pair of note 2's in the family for a couple of years they've worked fine all this time. They both had a gap that you could barely fit a sticky note in. Not really a problem.
