i need to get myself a replacement, like a fool i was showing off to some iphone fanboys how resilient the back cover is, i had seen a video of a guy crumpling it up like crazy and it dint crack or leave any marks, well i was unlucky, it didnt break, but there is a crack/bump on it now,

mate do you know if that "Full Housing Battery Cover Samsung i9100 Galaxy S 2 II" includes the silver bezel bit on the front of the Galaxy S II?

Ask on ebay matey the best thing to do would be to ask the seller.

Sorry but 10£ for a "Genuine Samsung part", no way gentlemen

Sorry about that!

Genuine Style Samsung Galaxy Y Case

First thread on this forum? I'd figure it would be more active. Anyways...
I bought my wife a Samsung Galaxy Y to see if she likes Android (she loves it so far) and the store we bought it from gave us two free cases. These cases have the genuine Samsung case style similar to the genuine Samsung Galaxy Nexus case per this thread.
I'm sure these are *not* official (hence the genuine style)as the plastic seems a bit brittle/hard and there is some rough edges from the molding process. In any case (no pun intended) I figured you folks might be interested in seeing these.

It looks good. We also have cases similar to what you have posted, but they don't come with the 'GALAXY Y' markings.

Replacement bezel came without screw holes

So i have had a nightmare replacing this screen... the first one i ordered, the cabel wouldnt reach from the digitizer to the mainboard so i couldnt connect it, so i sent it back and got a refund, and now my second one is missing the little brass pieces that hold ALL the screws in place. I do still have the original bezel with the pieces but i have absolutely no idea how to get them out.
Any ideas/suggestions? I considered superguleing them in place but that is kinda a last resort
Thanks
No ideas guys? Really? Here are some pics of what I mean

They're probably glued in, so I would think it would be possible to remove them. It seems weird though that it wouldn't come with the screw holes. I would have thought that it would. If it's not too much trouble I'd move them to the new bezel, otherwise I'd get a refund and buy from a different place.

They both have a pretty good selection. I'd check to make sure the pics have the screw holes in them before you buy them. Amazon has a really good return policy, but I don't know about either of these as I've never bought from either.

Ladies and Gentlemen the Sprint Extended battery is up...

On Sprint's website right now. Under accessories, enter Samsung, pick the Nexus and you should see it on the left of the screen.
Promo Code appears to be BATTERY1
That is all.
Update: The website appears to be wonky in recognizing your existing account so I'm not sure if the discount is working yet and telesales just told me they won't be accepting orders over the phone till 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time.
Good luck ordering off site. Loops you back to buy phone.

I finally just called telesales and got it, told them their website is as functional as their network in Detroit.

Tried the website with Firefox and Internet Explorer, tried chat, and am on the phone with Telesales...it's almost as if they don't believe that I have a message in my online account with the code and the offer of a free battery....
It's a good thing they have such great service to make up for their service reps (Sarcasm).
Mine already arrived in the mail...
Got mine.
I think the originals were defective or something.
Phone isn't hot and battery life is very good.

Here are some pictures of how the case fits around the phone. (Note that the front face is not really covered and you can actually see the bezel) -- @FiveOhFox
Give it a shot and let us know, prob won't fit correctly or fall apart after a good drop.
Is there a fake Eclipse? I'd be up for trying that for the right price.

will wait btw, where did you buy?
haven tried this particular case before, but i've personally bought a couple of other cases from ali express. The quality varies quite a bit. Some are better, some dont really fit. The aluminium bumper i bought for myself fit like a glove, and was of pretty good quality, while a different one that i had purchased for my girlfriend didn't really fit well. Have to look at feedback and orders before ordering from there.

Are you guys worried about the gap??

Are you guys worried about your note 4 having a gap? after hearing about the first phones over seas having a gap between the screen and the metal frame. don't know what to think of it, I wanna get the note on the 17th, but am afraid to pre order the note just because I don't want to open my brand new phone to a gap..
Nope.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I'm not worried at all about it. I've had at least one spot, in every phone I've owned, that had a gap in it somewhere. If this is what it takes to bond metal to glass, I'm all for it. It actually states the gap is there in the manual, so it's a design feature. Check out this video about the gap.
www.youtube.com/embed/r3mNJCNnARo
If the glass was right up against the metal, the slightest drop would cause the screen to spider crack. The plastic had a little absorption abilities but metal will transfer any vibration directly to the glass...so you should be happy it is there...it shows they were thinking.
Had a pair of note 2's in the family for a couple of years they've worked fine all this time. They both had a gap that you could barely fit a sticky note in. Not really a problem.
