I had an older version of Hulu plus running fine on my phone (Pacman ROM), but yesterday, it all of the sudden stopped working. I am getting the following message,
"Buffering...It appears you are having network issues. Please wait, or try again later."

So I tried the newest version and got this message,
"streaming unavailable [91]... please check you internet connection, ensure you have the latest official update for you device, and try again."

Then I tried this version, and this version, and the version from pimp my rom...but I'm still getting the buffering network issues message.
Is there an Adblock automatically enabled in PACman that I am not aware of (if that's the problem)? Does anyone have a hulu plus apk that is currently working (old or new...I don't care)
Thanks

Last summer I had my Fire TV rooted and set up with Xposed to fake Wifi access so that I could use my Xfinity app via ethernet. Previous to that I was using FOX-FI and my phone as a Wifi hotspot but Metropcs blocked the ability to do so.
All was well until the unit started turning itself off a few months ago. I was sent a replacement that I believe was a refurbishment and it NEVER updates (i.e. never updated to the Prime option on the left side of the menu) -- which would be great except I haven't been able to root it (most likely it's unrootable). Now I have a 3rd one and I just need to know how I can run my Xfinity TV GO app on it (after it's sideloaded) without having to use WIFI. Also, where is the list of serial numbers or whatever it is that allows one to know if the box can be rooted?
Thanks in advance.
The newest version of Xfinity Go does work over ethernet. I do have a lot of buffering issues when trying to watch on demand video though.

Really? I'll download the new app then sideload it to see if I'm still being told to connect via Wifi. I'll update later.
I'm getting the errror message "Sorry ,we are experiencing some difficulties. You can continue using the app, but not all areas may be working." What do you think the problem might be? I searched for this particular error but only viewed unanswered questions.
And when I went to 'Bookmarked' This popped up:
"An unknown error occurred during this request. Please try again.
Instantiation of [simple type, class com.xfinity.playerlib.model.tags.Network] value failed: Invalid int: """
Are you sure you have the newest version? Its at version 2.4.2. When I tried an older version, I would get that error about experiencing difficulties. But the new one works fine. And you should get a popup about it working with mobile data the first time you open it.

Yep. I went and downloaded the lastest from Google Play after typing my response. This one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xfinity.playnow
Hmm, did you get the popup about mobile data now working at least? I have no clue why it wouldnt work for you unless you are on an old version.

It's still not working. I included the link to the version I installed today. So, I'm not sure what the problem could be. There's a version of Xfinity for X1? users with cloud that I don't believe applies to my account. I've retried it a few times now and it shows the same message

If you don't see that mobile data popup then you likely do not have the newest version. Downloading from play store may not always get you the newest version because the version it lets you download is based on what device you download it from. Google "xfinity go apk 2.4.2" and find it that way and make sure you are downloading version 2.4.2.002. If that doesn't work, I have no more advice for you because I have no clue what the issue is.

I tried installing that same file on the older rootable device that won't update and the new non-rootable one and it's the same "experiencing difficulties" error. I was able to navigate to the 'Live' streaming area and when clicked to view a channel I got the "No Wi-Fi Connection. You must be on Wif-Fi to stream video content." pop-up. So, that's the true issue --- this version isn't ethernet compatible. I also tried to google for that apk and there were only a few sites that didn't seem to be safe. Would you be able to upload the apk that you have working via Ethernet?

I own Indian version of HTC one m8(single sim). I've been facing this problem from last 2-3 months, I've an internet plan on my prefered carrier but it always shows a caution(!) sign on the network viewer. Some of the applications work like whatsapp, facebook. And some of them works partially like hike, instagram. I've tried upgrading apps and upgrading the rom daily too, but still my problem continues.
I've installed the sim in other device and checked, its working perfectly. There is nothing wrong with my network provider.
Apps like gmail, playstore doesn't works at all.
cm-13.0-20160712-NIGHTLY-m8.zip -> The rom I last flashed[updated]
P.S.:: I'll try add some snaps later regarding my issue. I would be more than thankful to you if you would be able to resolve my problem. And one more thing I wan't getting this problem at the first time I installed this rom.
After this problem it shows me the new releases in cyanogenmod updater but I'm not able to update it through OTA. But I've updated it via recovery(manual update), and I'm using the rom release as I've mentioned above.

I have the same problem since updating to skygo apk 5.1.2.51. Also tried apk 5.1.2.45 but I get the same problem.
Also having the same problem on a non-rooted FIRETV.
I tried to bind my account, but the message "Connect to the network and try again" always appears. I tried using VPN, changed network, used WiFi, but still. Do I have to change ROM to the Indian version? (I'm currently in miui 9 and it doesn't look like an official build) or is there another solution?

i have this problem too

I have tried several different versions of the Peacock app and none of them will run. They install but when I try to run them they crash. Can anyone explain why?
Are you setting your VPN to the U.S and have you tried the latest update v2.3.3 from 29th April? They seem to have fixed a lot of bugs.

I tried 2.3.3 but this one says my device is not supported. I had been trying the versions from AFTVnews, but they always crash. I thought it might be because my device is rooted or maybe there is some mod on it that is causing the app to crash. It would at least be nice to know why it doesn't work for me.

the app is crashing because of unofficial bootloader, going back to stock is the only way to resolve this issue.
