I have looked through the list on the link you posted. All refer to the Kindle Fire Hd - nothing shows me if it is compatible with the Kindle fire 1st gen d01400 on software 10.3.0
I just want to make sure so I am not bothering others to find out how to un-soft brick a Kindle Fire D01400 n 10.3.0
Thanks Tobias,
Chris

Hi, I just want to share the latest version of Infinity for Android tv, since it is impossible to find everywhere else, that can be easily installed on our fire tv, now that the Fire tv stick gen 2 is finally available in italy.
The app can be used with the remote as well, only the login page is a little a pain because the keyboard can't be controlled from the fire tv app on the smartphone
thanks to @DavyA
Latest version here:

Don't really know if it is the latest version but works, it is not the smartphone app btw, th's is a modified version designed to work with the remote. You can also easily download the latest version from Yalp Store now.

Take a look at this posting, you see a picture with a resistor marked as 'cmd?' that works fine for shorting, as it's probably the clk line. Tested by @Michajin and others, including me
It's the third one of the row, the one next to the shield (not the one under the shield).

Do you just post random to all threads? This thread is almost a year old.... Thanks, but not necessary! And mentioning Developers on useless posts just is spam. Please do not try and help me. Thanks...
Is there a list of apps to safely disable for firetv 2? i see some threads but old and not sure if up to date.
For Amazon devices running OS 5, this one is pretty much up to date: full-debloat
The git is current to firmware version 5.2.6.8.

I'm rooted, so i'll give the rooted version a shot.
Was using AdAware but it was still showing ads, and i'm too lazy to go through the white and black list procedure
I'll see how blokada is

I have a couple questions:
1. Will this work on FTV 1 OS version 5.2.6.9?
2. Does the FTV have to be rooted to run the script? Mine is not rooted.
Thanks

The answer to both questions is yes.
But I would suggest examining the script first. It not only disables, but also removes the apps.
I posted the link as a reference.

Hi,
I'm a bit confused about the requirements rooting or unlocking the 2nd gen. FTV "Sloane". Is there any chance to install LineageOS on my FTV running 5.2.7.3? It also would be ok to have a rooted FTV OS as long as I can use extFAT/NTFS. What do you suggest? All manuals I've found required FTV OS >5.2.7.x
:wq!

Hey,
There's no unlock for sloane tho.
Do this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/fi...fire-tv-stick-2-anti-rollback-t3986303/page32
And then (if you want), install LineageOS 12.1: https://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-tv/general/rom-lineage-12-1-t4016981

Hi Rortiz,
thanks for your reply.
Lineage seems to have some caveats. :/
Code:
Issues:
HW Decoding (Netflix).
G-APPS Not tested.
USB Not working. Keyboard/Mouse.
Could I install a prerooted FTV OS after the unbricking procedure?
:wq!

Is there a tutorial for Sloane with different board revision? Or is there a root method? Would just like to freeze some amazon apps.
Thanks.
