This thread has a very obnoxious feel to it, you might want to revise a little as to not piss off the cm team

no good could come from this.
If people would actually post useful information instead of complaining about the thread, plenty good can come from this. Here is an example:
Wifi fix if you are on the 11.24 build- 2 options

2)Unofficial, but is working for me, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1299621&page=300 post 2991.

I think we should roll with this, and as people post USEFUL information, you should monitor the responses and then list them in the OP, so it doesn't turn into another thread of 3000 posts. Just my opinion...

I don't see why it would. It could help cut down the nonsense over there. It really is ridiculous trying to find an answer over there because of all the wasted posts. As long as the OP logs useful posts in the OP I think this will be a good thing.

I was going to post this in the dev thread, but this seems like a better thread for general questions.
Once we get official CM7 support, will this mean...
a.)CM9 will work no problem
b.)some recoding will be required to get CM9 working
c.)the same gargantuan effort need to be made again

Im just saying c because nothing.can be promised. I.can.understand b because the kernel is almost the same. Not a because there will have ti be SOME recoding...

Many said we would never see gingerbread. Cm9 is a "when", and i have no problem waiting for the epic devs to work their magic on their own time. Ginger has been official for less than a month, and samsung themselves are already testing other waters for us! I love my OG epic.

Cross-post from CM-KANG thread: Audio Dock Redirection?
Does anyone know of a CM-compliant kernel that works with Galaxy Sound Redirector?
I would LOVE to use my fancy CM phone with the Samsung Car Dock - and I cannot without a simple modification to the kernel + Galaxy Sound Redirector.
The relevant kernel code.
I've been made to understand that the CM team in general does not support this modification; if Deca, et al do not wish to I understand - I just wish I knew of a ready-to-use kernel that does!
still not get the 3g data working
excuse me sir,
i've been installed the cm7, and still not get the 3g data working
i was using, the sleeperROM then i've backedup the apn, using apnbackup before turned into CM7.
then i restored the config, but still not work.

thanks master.
sorry for my bad english
Hey guys just checked the last post by MashineGun so i thought maybe this would come in handy to help keep that thread less cluttered.
Please feel free to discuss any rom issues you might have and any other talk you might have regarding the rom.
I know we have the Jellybean thread by DiamondBack but i thought to make this one specifically only for Tgascoigne's rom and help keep the development less cluttered.
If mods have any problems with this no probs if you close this but hope you can give it a chance as i feel it would help out with keeping the general discussion regarding the rom here and keep development issues to the development thread.
regards

The popular All-Star ROM for the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 is now here for the T-Mobile Galaxy S3! I know this thread is in the general section. I'll make a new thread in the dev section once somebody tests this for me because I don't have a Galaxy S3. Let me know how it is!

All 10.1 based Roms will have similar issues as CM 10.1 nightlies, unless there's a specific workaround. For your convenience, please do not ask for ETAs. All bugs will be addressed and fixed in a timely manner.

Who asked for ETA's . I asked for suggestions , meaning how is the one your running, what are your experiences etc.
I never said you did. I simply asked that for your convenience not to ask for them just in case because they are constantly being asked for by users and devs hate being asked for ETAs for reasons in which are totally understandable. wasn't my intention to be rude so my apologies if my reply was taken that way. Just wanted to give you the heads up.

As for your question, I'm currently running Liquidsmooth v2.2. I have tested it and everything within my own experiences has been pretty damn stable. In fact this Rom feels like one of the most stable aosp roms. I highly recommend it. You should check out the thread if interested.

Yea they're all pretty good. You should try the AOCP rom. It's a brand new source based from CM. You may be amazed by it's appearance alone!
