I am currently on the aopk pac in black rom. This rom does not have a native email app. I am looking for a regular e-mail apk (not gmail) that I can install in this rom and that the widget will work correctly. Someone gave me a e-mail apk the first time and that was from another rom he said and it would not install on pib, he found another apk and it installs but am having quite a few issues with the widget with it. He said he had the same issues. I have continued to ask in the android forums but other than him, noone has responded. I found the pac in black rom developer thread on xda but the thread is closed and I'm unable to ask for help in there. If anyone has any ideas or can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. I am getting desperate, I don't know where else to turn. I have flashed quite a few roms in the past few years and out of all the roms I came across, this is the only one that doesn't have a regular native email app built into the rom. Thanks again for any and all suggestions.
Might check this out. I don't know though.

No one won't help me?... Why?....... bicouse I am only fat boy?... here is apk file... Need be only inverted
Stupid life
Well... Some one is self conscious..
No one replied because of the way you demand.
I've seen your post once it was up, but didn't reply because of the following reasons:
1) you gave absolutely no information about your current rom (Sammy, aosp, cm), android version (4.0.4, 4.1.2, 4.2)
This alone is a great reason not to answer, because we need to know what version of the mms.apk you need.
2) but in my opinion the biggest reason is the way that you ask, you made it appear as of we (the fine people of xda) are here to help you on-demand.
Most of us here are simple users enjoying the work of great developers, moders and themers. They put in a lot of their free time to allow us to have the best possible experience with our phones, and yet some people make them feel as if they are here to do some sort of volunteer work for the mentally disabled (no offense intended to anyone).
My point being that it's appreciated when people, at the very least, search for what they want. It has, in most cases, already been created.
I don't mean to say that you haven't done any type of searching, what I'm implying is that the way you formatted your post looks as if you you haven't even bother to look for it without asking first.
If you didn't search, next time try to formulate the post as follows:
"I'm looking for a modded mms.apk from cm 10.1 with the inverted theme. I'm running 4.x.x and I'm on the xxxxxxx Rom (replace X with actual info) I've tried to search on Google and (somehow) I've not found it. Any help is greatly appreciated."
The difference between your post and mine is that when people read it they see a person that is somehow bad at searching the Web, but has tried, they see what rom I'm on and what android version that rom is running.
With that information, they can (if they so wish to do so) much more easily get the post that they might have recalled seeing it on and send you a link.
Those are my points, perhaps some one else can give you some more details as to what they personally think is wrong with it.
The people of xda (for the most part) are very helpful to each other, but no one wants to spoon feed some one else because that some one else is lazy to even bother searching.
I hope that this post has helped you in your future of xda (if you so wish to stay). This information works on pretty much any forum.
I want trying to be evil in any way, just simply trying to guide you in a better direction.
(sorry for any typos, but typing this much on a phone can be hard)

Hi guys, a little new and I've been trying to read as much as I can but it's frustrating trying to find bits and pieces of information. I'm on T-Mobile, or the T999,
So I understand that Wifi-calling comes with all Touchwiz based roms? Easy enough, the resource bible thread points me to some good roms. I'm using Infamous right now, however what's really annoying me is not being able to receive MMS group messages from iPhone users.
I'm sure that's a common problem, but I can't really find a unified answer that'll point me towards a definitive solution. There's several different MMS apps floating around here, and I'm hesitant to download and flash all of them willy nilly because I don't know which ones work with Touchwiz, or not, etc.
Can someone give me a simple answer as to how to get these two functions working? Thanks!
I've tried GoSMS and Handcent for the group messaging.... neither work for me.
Handsent group texting works, you just have to enable the setting for it to work or else you will get single messages. The only bug I found on it is, if you reply through the pop up box, it will send the same text to everyone individually.
So you have to go to the app itself and reply by clicking the group thread. Like a regular text.

I use the same phone on t mobile and ran with Wicked rom and I use handsent. I rely on the wifi calling and I haven't had a single problem. In fact, I think my phone works better on this rom. Darth stalker was another rom I considered.
Edit: look into stockorama as well.
Handcent's been force closing on me every time I try to add a second person into a new message. :/
EDIT: Works perfect on Wicked!! Thank you!

Hey, I know what you're looking for. I've got the same issue with my S2 t989. The only TW ROMs that have stock working group mms messaging are from Verizon phones...and I think the att Note2. I have been experimenting with getting it to work. You have to modify SecTelephonyProvider.apk and framework2.jar. and install SecMms.apk from say the Verizon S3. I'm at work and don't have all the info in front of me at the moment to help you through it but I have it working and it's great! The only down-side is how it threads photos you recieve and you can't send any mms messages while on wifi calling. I'm still trying to work those bugs out. Do a search for SecMms.apk and you should be able to find a lot of info on this topic.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472009 if someone can add all these mods to the note 3 secMMS apk and put it up here for everyone to use because i know im not the only one who interested in these mods it would be greatly appreciated.I would pay, donate beer whatever im tired of having to use a different messaging app for emojis because samsung messaging app keeps converting it to mms If anyone could do it i will be forever in your debt.I tried myself decompiled the mms and everything but i cant find where evrything is located like finding a needle in a haystack.

Two things I thought I'd share -
1) The guy who posted the link you gave also has a rom in the TMo Android Dev section - might be worth taking a peek at it as I'm sure the SecMms in it includes everything in that post.
2) Unless I screwed it up somehow (something that is very possible), in my experience (using TMo service) forcing emoji to be treated as sms prevents them from being sent at all (messages including them still send, the places w/ emojis are just blank though). If folks have figured a way around this, or followed that guide and did not encounter that issue, I would be very interested in learning more as I may have mucked it up somehow and would be interested in learning how to resolve the issue.

Hi all, Ive recently been using the PA Beta 4 ROM on my Nexus 5, and every now and again It give me a little message that says "Bug Report Captured" now im presuming this information will help the developers make the ROM better and better with each update. However I have no idea where to post it! Currently ive just been uploading the files to my google drive for safe keeping. Is there a place I can share them with the developers or am completely barking up the wrong tree!?
Thankyou in advance.
That message is from aosp. If you want to help with real PA bug reports, create an account over on HTTPS://paranoidandroid.atlassian.net
What you are currently seeing is the os built in bug reporting feature and is not really usable to the team

Ok, account made, now what!?
Ok, thankyou very much, I have created a account, now where to post??
EDIT: Sorry, did attempt to Quote you in a message but XDA wouldnt allow it, ironically, must be a bug!
UPDATE - thanks to kwerdenker pointing me in the right direction I stumbled upon this post which is amazingly helpful for anyone else interested!

I'm trying to add a custom iconset I made to a paid theme of mine. As posted by a couple other people there are apparently some issues with this that no one can figure out. Well I am making this post to hopefully find people who are willing to help me squash this. As an independent themer with limited time this frustrates the piss out of me. I also have Go Locker themes that no one can every help me with my issues and it drives me crazy... anyway back to Zooper. This is my post from G+
having problems with my apk when I build it since I added my custom iconset. can anyone give me any insight on this?
currently it's in
assets/iconset/whatever/whatever/config.xml.jet with the font in there also whatever.ttf.jet
this is how it's exported in the apk templete from the app itself though and thats the only thing not working, is the iconset.
so to recap, the app install, loads, and works minus my icons from the custom iconset.
I'm lost.
I also tried removing all the .jet extensions like someone suggested and it didn't fix it...
the name of the iconset shows up and everything. just no preview image. it was like that when it was .jet too.
tried taking away all the .jet extensions everywhere too... no luck
trying to build using Android Studio if that matters
so far I tried taking out one of the folders so it was just
/assets/iconsets/whatever/config.xml & the font and that got letters to show up at least, just not from my font.
I also tried putting the zip file in there so it was
/assets/iconsets/whatever.zip
no luck either way... anyone else care to chime in or have any other ideas?

Font-based icon sets are broken in Zooper APKs. This has been a known problem for a long time and there have been some attempts to fix this issue but those were by users most of the time (here is one good example: https://plus.google.com/u/0/106201536507820539535/posts/dY1vras522H). The devs haven't responded to this for a while now. Might be they are working on it, might also be that theme APKs are not a priority anymore since the buyout through Themer. Hard to tell since the communication with the developers has stopped almost entirely.

Thank you so much for this information. It's sad to see one of the best customization apps on Android lose support like that but not surprising. So... are we able to create Themer themes? I can't imagine them being much different than their Zooper counterpart.
