Pulling Rasbeanjelly theme from .zip - Nexus 4 Themes and Apps

Is it possible to remove the theme that is in Rasbeanjelly from within its flashable .zip file and transport it into another flashable ROM .zip?
I have tried to replace the SystemUI.apk in my .zip with the one inside Rasbeanjelly's but when after I flashed it all I got were SystemUI force closes. Or am I replacing the wrong files?

SystemUI is ROM dependent so you can't take it from one and put it in another.

So it is not possible to pull the theme from Rasbeanjelly and put it in another ROM?

[Q] Please help, UOT Kitchen battery mod + MIUI Theme

I flashed MIUI, then applied the theme I wanted, Elite Pro HD. I wanted the SCB battery mod as well, so booted into recovery and flashed the one I made of only the battery mod, however after uploading the framework-res.apk file in the kitchen it removed practically all themeing in MIUI after reboot. After I do that, it will not allow me apply any new themes. Some icons change but nothing else, the dock icons, fonts etc all stay stock MIUI and I can't figure out why so any help would be much appreciated. Would love to be able to somehow implement the SCB mod into the theme or just make them work together.
it sounds to me like you will have to learn how to make custom frameworks if you want it all working together.
my suggestions:-
choose whatever battery you want on UOT - make it for any rom, doesnt matter you only need the files.
decompile the UOT framework - take the .png's for the battery and .xmls that control them
decompile your already custom framework - copy .xml's and .png's from the UOT framework over to it.
compile framework, add it to an update.zip and sign that.
you might want to search xda if you dont know how to do any of the above, all the info is available here
EDIT: looking at that theme it already has a percentage battery, if the .xmls are the same as UOT you could just replace the .png's in the original update and re-sign

Kitchen removes nothing. if u cooked file from your rom, so u get everything stock.
U should cook framework-res.apk from the theme's zip.

[Q] Can't add MIUI theme via ZIP

I've looked around and several solutions are provided but none of them work. I have downlaoded several themes in ZIP-format. I just can't seem to add them to my theme manager. I've tried renaming to MTZ and opening via the Theme Manager->Import from SD-card, but that doesn't work either. Any solutions?
Which Miui version you are using and which theme you will use?
I have many problems with the Miui 1.4.29 version and the current themes.
Since GB I have to many problems with it. I changed back to GB Sence and give it a try
The latest? I only flashed my ROM since wednesday I believe. So I suppose the latest
Have you tried opening the zip and placing the .mtz file in the theme manager?

The ZIP doesn't contain a MTZ.
Tell us which Theme you will use then we can help.
Have you download and active other Themes over the Theme Manager?
Have you the same issue?
This is an example of a theme: http://miuithemes.com/63/paper-miui-theme/

Downloading via the Theme Manager works fine although not a lot of themes give me a preview of the theme.
Maybe it is not possible to install these themes via theme manager, because they change some systemfiles which cannot be changed with a running system?!
IMHO i would always do it on this way:
1.) Download the theme and copy it on sd-card
2.) Reboot phone into recovery
3.) Make a complete nandroid backup, just in case
4.) Flash the theme as normal
5.) Reboot phone
I think, this is the best and safest way. So you should try this and tell me, if it works.

[q] flash icons into theme

I was wondering if anyone know if it is possible to put more icons into a flashed theme already on your phone or could someone point me in the right direction to learn how thanks in advance
im not sure how to pack a theme but if you explore your rom's zip file you should be able to find the icons usually under res\drawle-hdpi if the apk wont open you can just rename the .apk to .zip if you extract the apk it will need to be resigned.

Keeping custom theme when changing roms

I have changed the battery symbol, soft keys, and keyboard all using different flashable zip files. I modified one to include the battery symbols and soft keys and have a seperate one for the keyboard. My first question is the file I use has the systemui.apk in it is there a way to incorporate the keyboard in the file as well so I can flash one zip to get all my custom settings? Second question is im debating going from AOKP M3 to Build 23 being the flashable zip is structured for M3 will I have to find a new one for Build 23? Last question is being if I cant use the same zip as I use for M3 can I just pull the systemui from build 23 and put my files in that systemui and flash it using the same zip file. Thanks for any help its greatly appreciated im new to customizing my own stuff so trying to learn as I go.

Not sure about this post as a whole haha. Little confusing at times. What I can answer though, is that you can try flashing the m3 mods to your aokp23. If that doesn't work, then yes you can open up the system.apk and take files out of your m3 and replace them in your b23 systemUI.
Are you using flash able zips as in you are going in to recovery and flashing them, or are they zips you run through metamorph or zipthemer?
The zip im using goes through recovery its on I originally just used to change the battery symbol. Thanks for the reply I guess I put a bunch in there I can see now how it can be a bit confusing lol.
Look into making it a metamorph. It's not that hard, that way your mods work on any ROM and not just the original.
The basic idea of metamorph is that it just contains the resources for your mod (ie just the battery pngs) and it will copy the resources to where they need to go.

template .zip for flashing files to LP

hi XDA,
i want to modify Settings.apk and add some apkĀ“s to my Lollipop ROM (deodexed and zipaligned).
it was no problem to get a zip template for KK, but now LP has another file structure (each apk has its own folder).
Can somebody post here such a .zip template for LP deodexed ROM that i can make a flashable zip file for my modifications?
Thx
