I have been trying to locate some information on this layout with Pm's and emails to the guy that posted it with no luck. So I figured I would see if the community could help me with my search for this awesome layout!
I am after everything in this screenshot that was posted.

The text-style-battery is Battstat The Dock could have been removed by using an alternate Launcher like Launcher Pro (no dockbackground, buttons disabled).

if you change your DPI you can achieve this !
If you don't want to do any build.prop mods, I suggest taking a look at paranoid android. Here's a screencap of my current home screen setup:

Currently, I have it set to 280 dpi Nova Launcher with System.UI on tablet mode. You can obtain the same results with the stock Trebuchet launcher, but I really don't see any reason why I would want to ever since Nova Launcher integrated all the Jelly Bean features into their launcher. You can get 6x7 to fit well on Trebuchet also, but you'd need a modded version of Trebuchet or you'll have huge borders on 240 dpi. I don't really suggest anything below 270/280 dpi, though, or everything gets pretty small. 280 seems to be the sweet spot for me.

Reel Black and Blue Mashup VRTheme
I used the icons from one of my favorite 3rd party launcher themes: Icon Pack - Black and Blue by Stealthychief with his permission for non-commercial use.
Some of the UI elements are incorporated and some modded from Alexander by alexanter the great, LuCiFeRkO Motomoto00 theme mods and AOSP Theme by foreverloco with their permissions.
Please drop them a thanks for sharing their resources. Sharing is caring
I tested it on my T-mo Note 2 (N7100) running Jedi Master 14 and JM16 with Nova Launcher. It should be carrier universal and probably Galaxy S3 compatible. Any feedback is appreciated.

Is there a way to get the text out from under the icons in the app drawer or whatever it would be called?

He means in the app tray popup you get when you're trying to add an app to the multiwindow bar like in my attached screen
@ OP: it seems like you could edit the strings.xml in one of the framework files or the flashbarservice.apk to make this be an empty string, e.g.: ""
Without the quotes of course
OIC.... He said app drawer... Didn't cross my mind should have known by the title. IDK if you remove it from app drawer will it affects in multiview window? I don't have it enabled. Doesn't really serve much of a function for me.
Have a great day!
