What do youn mean by "any custom rom, or anything else"? I installed this baseband (56) for use with the [email protected], but after a reboot problem occured, i had to relock the bootloader and download the latest firmware from SEUS. Now i am with a locked bootloader and an unrooted xperia arc @ 2.3.4 android

will it give me problems if i did flash new baseband on MIUI ROM ?
or i just stick with my current baseband 56 ??
Stick to your baseband, new one can make problems on miui.
Using stock rom there should not be problem.

Hello to all
i flash 4.0.4_431 stock ftf rom in arc
then i try all the custom kernels that are available for 4.0.4 source but they are not working well
after flashing kernel every time when i start my arc most of function did not work properly like Conversation, semc phone , contacts, and others
any one knows which kernel is bug free for 431 Rom

I have jimbo's kernel running on the new firmware no problem at all, just flashed it after installing new firmware and flashed super user
so does the arc knight kernel work with the official ics ??

You need to flash the ftf right after you flash the kernel and everything will be fine.

And aside from that, chances are that you will get much better answers if you post your findings for each kernel in the respective thread in development section.

Both one and the same, although given that there have been problems in the past with the official kernel when flashing the original ROM I'd advise using FXP's ROM, or at least FXP's kernel when using either. And yes, 72.
I would like to run the [email protected] rom on my R800i currently running CM9, but my baseband version is currently 56, but the rom needs 58 or 62... does anyone know how to change this so it can work? Sorry, I'm quite a n00b at this :/

Just download the .62 ftf and flash with flashtool... Excluding all except the baseband.

Can´t find a tft with baseband 62. Can only find others. For example R800i 4.0.2.A.0.62 have baseband 64. Can some one please link to one with baseband 62.
