[Q] how to see ONLY coud files in Google Music app - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm playing around with uploading my music to Google Music. That being said, when I run Play Music on my gs3, I ONLY want to see the music stored on the Google Music cloud--I don't want to see anything on my phone's storage. I see an option for "all music / on device only" which is the opposite of what I want. I thought about a third party Google Music player but haven't found anything yet (suggestions for this are welcome, I did see an app to let third party players access the google music cloud files but haven't tried it yet). Thanks for any help on this.

having trouble with adding songs from my library to offline , i click on some songs and it doesnt have a option to add to offline library.
Also where are all the offline songs stored, what if I want to delete my stored songs , how do i do that?
Through the google music app. Select the song or album you want, long press-add instant mix. Then go to the instant mix-menu-make available offline.

where are the offline songs stored? interesting question??
Music files are stored here:
Sdcard/Android/data/com.google.Android.music/cache/music
I have been trying to figure a way to make use of this because it would be nice if there were other music apps that could take advantage of these songs but have had no luck.

PowerAmp lets you select which folders to scan for music, so selecting the cache folder for Google Music makes those songs available to PowerAmp. And PowerAmp really is one of the best music apps available. I wish Google would release APIs making our cloud-stored music available to any app that uses them.

How do I get Google music to play on alternative player?

Hey guys. this is a pretty self explanatory question. I love Google music. I think the cloud service is stellar and I like the way it has ALL the music on my computer without ever having to put it on my phone. The only gripe I have is the music player. I like the player well enough but, im used to Playerpro and like the over all aesthetic value over Gmusic. The problem Im having is that there is no way to have my music that I say to "Make available offline" available on anything other than Gmusic. Is there a way to download songs and albums off Gmusic and use them on a separate player like PlayerPro? I know there is a way to move around files, but I already tried that and it was a no go.
Download it to play offline.

Try Cloud Music Sniper from the market.

Downloading it to play offline does not let me use the music in anything other than the stock Gmusic app.
Just put it on your phone and be done with it!
Try looking for the downloaded music in /sdcard/Android/data/com.Google.android.music/cache/music

Play Google Music On 3rd Party Players

Not too sure if this is already been posted but I know it's a function/feature we've all been dying to use: the ability to stream Google Music to a 3rd party app besides the the stock one.
I've been using it for about a day now on the PlayerPro music player & it works pretty darn great.
Anyhow, enough talk & on to the show: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2169761

About a week into it or so. It does have its quirks where the system file that hosts the script becomes unmounted but a simple sync & remount solves the problem.
I've also noticed that if you add music to your Google Play library the GMusicFS app will not auto sync your music, you have to do it manually in order to get the music to be recognized in whatever 3rd party player you're using.
I've also used various music players such as Winamp & JetAudio & both work great as well.
An added bonus is no more tiny widget via Google Play Music, you get to use the larger widget that comes with those alternate players plus the ability to view lyrics & tweak the sound that these players have built in; something the Google Play Music app lacks.

Issues with music on lock screen

Hey, so I'm kinda stuck on this one feature and can't seem to find a way around it.
I like the stock htc one music player, but when i use ok google to play a song (like i do in the car) it just searches for the song in the music player, doesn't play it. I've been using the google play music player which does work with the ok google command, but i have to enter the pin to get to the music player. Is there some kind of tweak like for xposed or a setting that either makes ok google work properly with the htc music app or Google play bypass the lockscreen? or some other option im not thinking of?
Thanks
