[Q] some features of Facebook not working - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a rooted Note 2 LTE with Multi Windows Manager installed. Recently, I realised I could not search names or access my groups in facebook. I either get the error message "connection lost" or "trouble connecting". I've tried clearing cache and data, uninstalling and reinstalling but none worked. My cousin who's using the same phone has no problem. Anyone has the same problem or any suggestions?

Try factory reset

Unable to install apps. There are no Android devices associated with this account.Report "There are no android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account."When I go "My Market Account" and click on settings the following message appears "There are no Android devices associated with this account."Reading from help you get"You're not logged in with the primary Google account associated with your device.ORYou haven't accessed Android Marketfrom your device recently."I am logged in on my primary (and only gmail) account and have recently within the last 15 minutes downloaded applications from the markers on my phone.Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue.

No reinstalling...Just exact what J3M say: wiping cache & Dalvik, reinstalling market...It is not firmware reinstalling procedure.
Regards
I also have a problem with the new, market, I can't purchase apps. When I press the purchase it will say item not found.. Any ideas?

Error 110 when updating apps in the market.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a fix for this problem (note that I HAVE searched). When I try to update an app in the market I get "Unknown error during application install "-110""

Problem fixed, for future reference, if you have this problem in the future just go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Market> the hit Uninstall updates, clear cache and clear data (although clear data isn't really necessary it's just suggested).
I'm having the same problem, had to uninstall facebook because it keep syncing and wouldn't stop. So it would drain my battery really quick.
I used Rom Toolbox to remove HTCFacebook from the photo and tried installing facebook from the market and I got the 110 error message then tried installing it again and it installed but won't run.
IDK if this has something so do with Energy SensationXL Sense 3.5 Rom I have installed.
Your best bet is to clear cache and data from market app then restart phone. If that doesnt work you can reflash the same rom you have and repeat above mentioned proccess then see if it works

Did you try clearing Play Store data and cache in settings?
Also, are you using a non-stock display density?

This problem. I've had this problem once, n solved it by wiping data, cache, dalvik cache then reflashing CM9 n Gapps zip file.

I've had this problem when I used CM9. Done a lot of things didn't work.
Unless I go Pristine(go General Section to know how).
Assuming you installed the game once before turning to CM9 . After changing to CM9 you wanted to reinstall it. This will happen. Go Pristine. Nothing will go wrong after that.

Google Playstore 489 error not going away.

I tried almost everything. Cleared Google Playstore cache, data and Google services framework Data, cache and download manager cache ..hard reset my phone. But still same issue. Tried adding my Google account again and removing. Switched on vpn and tried without VPN but nothing works.
I'm able to download apps on mobile network but with wifi running I get this error 489.
Using everything stock and its an international version.

anyone ?
You're not supposed to clear the data for Google services framework. I would recommend a factory reset at this point.
I'm getting the same issue on mine. I've done everything you've done except for the reset. It's sort of random, on mine, which apps will download and which ones won't. I can still download/update some apps, but not others.
