Why not just use your phone to download the torrents? Use utorrent or another torrent client from the play then copy it over to your pc if you want it on there.

Utorrent won't work when you have VPN shield activated. I have no explanation as to why, just that I ran into the same issue and found that out. Easiest workaround is to download the utorrent app from the Play Store and use it for your torrents. I use it religiously. It's simple and very effective.
Good luck to ya man.

I realize this is probably the wrong section but a I've only posted once I can't put it on the dev section. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the new goo servers, and downloads failing. I use opera mobile minimize the download and open the downloads tab. I've found that if I watch downloads and pause and resume each time the download rate stops, it will continue unheeded. I haven't had a single failed download since I started. This is on wifi as I don't have a large data plan. I hope if this is the wrong section someone with more clout than me can get it moved, and I hope sharing this doesn't spell trouble for goo inside as the service they provide is irreplaceable. Good night and good luck.

I'm sure this work around will help some. Your title seems like a question but other than that this is the right section. Only post a new thread in dev section for roms, kernels and mods. This would go well inside a thread that talks about goo though. Good job on noticing that pausing it keeps it from timing out

the question mark was more for whether or not it could be seen as a fix or workaround. And wrong thread because it would have been a good reply in one of the many lengthy discussions of goo's "sucking"in one of the various Rom threads but as a new user I can't post there.
I also had much more luck downloading from the goo-inside.me url vs the goo.im url.
I've disabled all of mine except those i recognize. I would really prefer that it would ask me to allow it whenever one popped up. One of these seems to allow Google Play, but its not obvious which one it is (which is stupid).
Does anyone know which one (or group) is for Google Play?
Thanks

Hey everyone,
This seems to be a problem in the default Android email client app... some emails (namely my monthly rent statements) that have PDFs attached seem to be blocked while others are fine. In the email list pane, I see the paperclip showing there's an attachment, but when I go in to read the email, it gives me no option to view the PDF attachment. It's as if it's blocking it for being malicious or something. As I said, is only for certain sender's. Does anyone know what causes this and if there's something that can be done about it? This happens on my GN, as well as my N4, 7 and 10. That leads me to believe it's something in the email client.
Thanks
I wonder if the sender is in your contacts list? Not sure if that could be reason.
I have had problems downloading attachments with the gmail app. it gets pretty frustrating

Usually editing the build.prop to show a supported device will allow it to show in the Play list. Don't know about working though.
Hey guys,
Ive tried to search on the site but didnt get any hits back.
Is there a way to hack SVoice, something of the order of Siri Proxy, so we can pre-program some commands?

Cant change the commands in S-Voice as far as i know but there are some pretty good alternatives like utter which have that functionality
Try Voice Answer from the play store, it's pricey (just under $4) but it has access to the largest databases outside the siri servers.
