There's some lag here and there. Nothing too noticeable until you hop in titanium backup. Serious performance issues.
I haven't checked at all..and this may be dumb question...both cores running at full speed in this build?

Nice work JMZ, once you figure out the camera and this just all around becomes more stable I will definitely be flashing. Expect a donation soon enough, or at least I hope to donate. Money's iffy these days.

I'm fairly positive that if you download and flash the camera.apk zip that is in one of the Dev threads that it's possible to fix the camera issue.

As much as I'd like for the Camera to work....I won't touch any package 25ky has created.
I don't mean to bad mouth the kid...he's got a lot to learn. Not to mention I haven't seen anything that he, himself has actually created. It seems he pulls packages from other threads/devs, post them in other threads and attempts to gather "Thanks" for doing so.
I hear all of his "I'm bringing you this" & "for the community I'm doing that". Only for everything he posts to be linked back to other devs.
So no thx.

I truly want to bite at this bait sooo bad. However I see you are begging ops to close your threads in the One VX forums as we speak..on your failed experiments..

I usually stay away from slightly off topic chat in my threads but this is completely off topic. Completely bad form to post all your work in someone else's development thread.

[KERNEL] elgin kernel-a1 3.0.39 <-- for SENSE (True wifi fix for VI included)

Ok, folk here it is. I have given a taste of this kernel a day ago so lets get the ball rolling. A functional 3.0.x kernel for the glacier. This is a SENSE only release so be patient. This is based off the virtuous team's sources ported over to the glacier. This is not all my work but I was the one who added the glacier into this.
Original Thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1805658
Quirks are the same as the original thread.
I would like to thank:
Flemmard (You got us started with the HTC Vision)

and all the glacier users

Changelog
8-8 5pm - Initial Release

That's the only one currently booting. The Sense 4 ROMs have to be modified to work with the kernel. Remember, they were customized to work with a much older kernel.

[ROM][CM10] SuperCM10 ||4.1.2||(JB) v1.0.2
I'm not much on big fancy threads...so here it is.
This is a ROM I made for myself personally and decided to share.
These are based on CM-NIGHTLY BUILDS for Tmo SGSIII.
I have really made this ROM for lightness and speed. I removed a ton of stuff that I didn't want or need.
I don't plan on answering all Q and A as most issues will most likely be fixed by fully wiping before flashing this.
Let me know how you like it. If you guys like this ROM, I may continue to update this weekly. we'll see.

Best of both worlds...
How is everyone liking the kernel?
I tried to give the best of both performance and battery life.
192MHz-1900MHz range.
I've had mine running very stable at 1900MHz while testing.
I don't recommend leaving it there for daily use unless you are plugged up to a charger.
192-1684MHz seems to be a good middle ground for performance and battery life.
I also forgot to mention that this kernel does support Fast charging.
I use this app here until I implement it into the ROM.
Fast Charge App

i would like a stable , OC, UV , optimize sense rom
This Rom produced by Jmz is as stable as it gets, currently. - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173069 , As for OC, flash this kernel - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182351 , Again another fine Jmz product.

please get the phone before you start pumping out things you do not know will work, for all you know you could mess up something bad on the device. OR atleast test it with someone instead of releasing it to the puplic with no known information that it will work or not.

[ROM] ATOM-422 [06-22] major update

so i finally made an offical toro+ thread... yes i just copy and pasted my out-of-date OP from my other device threads but if you know ATOM then you already know what's up. if not, you're in for a treat.
PLEASE READ:
This AOSP is not limited to CM, Vanir, CNA, EOS, AOKP etc. you get the best of all of them.. custom tailored for the galaxy nexus (and nexus 7 soon). no bloat for other devices or unusable additions in the source. the benefit? less bugs and a more optimized experience. More major features will be added from your favorite roms as soon as i can port and improve on them. I will listen to requests but don't get offended if i put them on the back-burner or decide against including them.
Disclaimer: Because I'm using building using commits from every major repo in existence it may take a while to integrate some of the major features to my standards. I may release a stock AOKP feature as a beta until I have the chance to improve it but I'm not interested in band-aid fixing things or duck taping **** together just to get more crap under the features list and change log. Also, If you have questions or interest in building or joining vanirAOSP please message me on gtalk: [email protected] and feel free to add me on google+
here is a link to the parent thread where you can view previous change logs and perhaps find an answer to a question
general features:
vanir base: all features included, always the latest
customized-for-speed launcher2
optimized memory usage
full GCC 4.8 linaro tool chain with optimized cflags & -O3
current bug fixes and improvements from all major repos

Hey thanks for bringing this over, Prime. I always see people raving about ATOM in the AK thread. Now I get to find out what all that fuss is about!

well.. available since v7 or v8.. about a month and a half maybe?
i didn't just jump right into starting a thread because i needed to develop a small regular flashing group on toro+ so i would have enough feedback to support and fix bugs specific to toro+ since i don't actually own the device. sticking my toes in the water to test the temp if you will.

I wish we could get some PAranoidandroind and AOKP love. I would really like to have a stock version of 4.3 so I can ditch all of the Verizon crap. I have some of it frozen, but the constant Wi-fi notifications and other bloatware annoy me to no end.
My ideal would be stock with fast toggles and the ability to map the HTC button.
I hope with the notion of s-off/root discovered the Devs start producing for this device.
I've always really loved Carbon Rom!

Ditto! I forgot about that ROM. Speaking of which, is Liquid still around?

What about the GPE ROM by newtoroot? Is that not considered stock?
Carbon, neo roms was kick ass on the rezound. I would guess won't be long before he gets a one now being a root exploit is out. Santod Roms are stellar and kept bolt owners up to date when all other devs left for greener pastures.

There are so many roms out there I would like to try. I ran neos roms a lot and also nils. Miui is nice sometimes. I'd like to see something I never had on the rezound. I'm sure they will all be awesome!!
all I know is I love blinkfeed, which is amazing because even though I've always been a fan of HTC, the first thing I did whenever I got root was get a senseless ROM running (usually Cyanogenmod)

Technically GPE ROM is more a totally de-sensed Sense ROM than an actual AOSP ROM. It is still running HTC Framework I believe for things like the camera and in order to take advantage of the optimised sense drivers
GPe is a theme if anything

Add mokee to the list, and I'll start building today, so add it to the wip section as well... I have to get an update out for the galaxytab2 today anyway , so I'll build for the one and as soon is s-off is out I'll test it and post it
