Hello!
I just got my HTC got back from the dealer (broken screen).
Then I have the HOX in the car connected to the charger, and not on.
When I got home I connected the phone to the wall socket and switched on after about 1 hour. For each connection with the power supplies, the red LED lit continuously normal. The battery now shows 20 percent and is steadily less. There was also a message that the charger delivers less power than the cell phone consumes. Now the phone at 1 percent. I can also turn it on and get to the settings, etc. of the battery status shows 1 percent. I have the phone once turned (By pressing 10 seconds the off button) off, then showed it to me again at 20 percent Works now but no more, always remains at 1 percent.
The phone displays a software update, but I can not download with 1 percent. (approx 350 MB something)
Android Version: 4.0.4
original ROM
i ve Nothing changed until now, only at the beginning of Setup Assistant
What could be the problem? How can I fix it?
when I plug in the charging cable in Settings-> Power> Battery Status> Loading (AC)
Battery Monitor Widget shows but: Discharges (in red when I plug off and Unloads, but in green when it is plugged in). except in the red about 400 mA
many greetings!
have you tried to update while the charger is pluged in?
if that not works try a full wipe of your phone.

Hi,
I recently (about 2 hours ago) encountered a strange problem. Turned on the phone as usual in the morning, got it on, some warning about the battery level together with a sound appeared. Connected to USB, started to charge (orange led on), after 2-3 minutes turned on, battery level warning, turns itself off.
Right now when I press the power button the phone does nothing, the orange led starts to light when USB cable is connected and about every 2-3 minutes it shows the touch pro2 logo, the red version info and turns itself off again.
What happened?!
Try plugging it into the wall charger and letting it charge for longer?
I have had the phone for around a year. Haven't flashed or rooted it to non-official ROMs. It had boot loop issue a few weeks ago which was solved using RUU to the official ROM. It worked fine until today.
Today, while using the camera, the phone stopped responding to touch and a message said that camera is not responding.
I shut down the phone using the power button.
When trying to restart the phone, it did not light at all.
The phone had a high charge when this happened.
Connecting to the wall does not light up the charging LED.
Using power + volume down or power + volume down for several minutes does nothing. Neither does shining light on it.
When connected to the computer, it loops Connected -> Unrecognized USB device -> Disconnected after 20 or so seconds.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Try charging for several hours (overnight) and see if charge LED appears. Also try the button combos again after charging overnight. Use wall charger (not connected to PC, which can be too slow).
Try the button combos with and without the wall charger attached. Also try power + vol up and vol down (all at the same time).
When I connect it to the wall for a long time, the LED sometimes flashes orange and again a second later and the loop repeats every 20 seconds, similarly to the rate of the unrecognized device when connecting to USB.
Last night, there was a stage where it got to a constant orange LED but in the morning it was back to nothing or the slow double orange flash.
It is still under warranty and if it doesn't get fixed by itself, I'll hand it in for testing on Sunday.
I just received a used Tab S 10.5 from a reputable Ebay supplier. It didn't turn on initially so I plugged in the charger and it showed a solid gray battery icon with a solid white lightning bolt. I assume that means it's fully charged. Still wouldn't turn on with the power button so I tried holding the power and volume buttons together. I'd get a short vibration after 6 or 7 seconds and the battery icon would go off but it wouldn't start. I finally got it to start (not sure what I did differently) but now it has been stuck on the Samsung Tab S opening screen for several minutes. I tried turning it off with the power button but holding it down for about 10 seconds had no effect so I let it go and the logo screen stayed on.
Before I contact the supplier for a refund or exchange I would like to know a few things. Are the Samsung Galaxy Tabs finicky about turning on? Any known issues with power buttons? What's the proper procedure with the power button alone doesn't work? I've seen both power + volume down and power + volume up.
Update 30 min after original post: my assumption about the battery icon was incorrect. I tried turning it on again it worked and the battery showed 3%. I started the setup but just connecting to my network drained the battery down to 0% (even though it's plugged into the charger) so it shut off. At least I know now I'll have to wait a few hours.

Since the issue has been resolved (and was due to inadequate information on my part rather than a problem with the tablet), I am asking the moderator to remove this thread.
This is the third new pixel C I've tried this week(!) and they've all had the identical problem.. It would be incredibly bad luck to have 3 defective devices so I'm wondering if this is a known problem and there's something I can do to fix it.
The device will never go further than flashing the google logo very briefly. The light bar shows all red for a fraction of a second, then nothing. After this point the display is blank and the light bar is dead and does not respond to tapping.
If I go into recovery and select 'turn off device', the light bar is responsive but just shows a single red segment.
I've also tried the usual 10-20 seconds power off and the volume up/down/power switch combinations.
Is there any way of getting the device to charge from recovery mode?
Wonder if it's reasonable to assume that recovery mode consumes less power so the problem is a deeply discharged battery and I think that is a significant issue with Lipo cells. I assume your " 10-20 seconds power off and the volume up/down/power switch combinations" are those recommended at https://support.google.com/nexus/troubleshooter/3337561?hl=en-GB&ref_topic=6023299
Is the Pixel C charger "intelligent" ? - try a basic charger or a PC if you have a usb A/C cable?
Booted to recovery, powered it down from recovery and left it 2 hours. After a couple of attempts it booted :victory:
I left my pixel c on charge for the night (usb charge hub, 5v/2a, way I've used to charge since I got it), pixel c keyboard attached in the laptop position.
This morning I got up and press the power button to check it is charged and it was sitting on 0% saying it was charging... Power it off, leave it plugged into the wall charger that came with it and 3hrs later still nothing.
Recovery, turn off, closed it up so the keyboard is in put in the bag move, now checked it is charging, 1 red segment flashes. See what happens next. Never had an issue in the previous 7 months of using this device. Very odd, hope it is ok soon... Best Android Tablet I've had, don't really want to buy a new one...
Edit: looks like it is all good. Phew!! Bit strange.
Just Recieved and the same
Another one here with the same "issue" or strange thing that it does before start charging
I have the same issue. I can't get the thing to turn on at all. How do I even get it into recovery?? All I get is the google logo for 1 second, then the bars turn red and everything turns off.
Power button does nothing. Power+Vol Down does nothing.
I have a similar issue! Welcome to 2021. I plug in to charge, lightbar goes to Google colors and then red. It'll do that back and forth without turning on. Any ideas?
Had same Problem. Press vol up and down and then Connect the charger. Then I coud boot in recovery mode. From there rebooted in Android and charge up
Hello, Huawei gadget friends.
My watch started to go in to a "low power boot loop" a week ago so I left it alone hoping a full drain would restore it back to working condition, but alas not.
So now this is the situation:
1) press button, nothing happens
2) connect to power shows the charging icon (white battery with power sign) and then after a few mins commences a boot loop as follows
3) from the charging icon, then gives the "Device software can't be checked for corruption..." message
4) followed by the red Huawei logo, then a single vibrate and then back to step 3 above
5) removing the watch from the charger stops the boot loop but then shows the low battery icon (white battery with one bar).
In one or two occasions, I saw it boot up to the colorful spinning 4 android wear logo, but did not complete (did not show "Android Wear" before rebooting again.
I have tried getting it to recovery mode screen or fastboot but without success -- I keep getting the second buzz without fail.
When the beta of 1.5 came out, I tried it, but since then, have wiped my mac and don't have the adb/fastboot software anymore. From reading the forums, there is now some new software called TWRP. Please advise what I can do.
Would I be right to suspect that it is some battery problem? Is it beyond help? :crying:
Thanks in advance!
MMM
Edit: I have also left it on for several hours charging (and rebooting constantly), thinking that perhaps it is just low battery -- but no success.
I'm experiencing the same problem, i turned it off yesterday at 17% and connected to the pc this morning to charge. I immediately noticed that it started looping with the white icon and it doesn't turn on, nor boots into download mode.
Have you found any way to restore it?
Mine doesn't show the red HW logo, charged for some hours and nothing.
I noticed that the pc see that there's something connected, but keeps saying "USB not recognized". I don't know what to do, i may open up and disconnect the battery
EDIT: SOLVED, it was just the cable that broke somehow. I soldered a new cable to the circular base but that didn't work, but as soon as i received this i connected to the pc and started pressing the button randomly till it showed the battery logo and started charging
I got this when I plugged it into my laptop. Plugging it into a dedicated USB charger solved my problem - I suspect the power rating on the USB socket wasn't high enough to charge effectively or that the USB socket is faulty in some other way. From what I understand, not all USB sockets are equal in that some are suitable for high-drain devices, some not so much. So trying another USB port on your computer may also help (Unfortunately at the time I was backing up to an external HDD on the other USB so that option wasn't open to me).
guyz, i have tried my method it actually worked on Xperia X Perfomance
When it goes to Bootloop for Drained battery, i just plug the cable and perform activity block method By pressing and holing power and both volume up and down and when it hits the 1st viberation i just simply release the key. (remember dont hold it too much long after 1st single viberation just release the keys ) and your phone will go to block activity mode. charging light will change it colors from red to blue.. after 2 minutes just press power button then you ll get another viberation and your phone will be seen as charged 2% and then it will be normal again...
i think it happens when battery drained and phone is unexpectedly trying to go boot in first place.
thank you
