[Q] Camera not working

Phone is rooted.
Everything was working fine until I updated with a GB custom rom.
Then my camera would work intermittently. Work for a bit.. then had to reboot to get it working again.
Now with the newest GB roms my camera isn't working at all. It goes to gray screen and I have to hit the home button to get out.
I have tried numerous different rom and there is no difference. I have went from Camera version 2.XXXX to Camera version 3.XXX in the roms.
I have cleared the cache, etc etc.
Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?
I have tried numerous different rom and there is no difference.

Fresh 4.3.1 and 4.3.2
Swag "No Swag"
Signed Team nocturnals RLS3
Energy 11/18/2011
I have Cynogen's newest but haven't tried it yet.
I was running Fresh 3.xxx with no problem. 4.3.1 started the problem .. 4.3.2 completely made it dysfunctional.
hmmm, have you tried flashing a stock rom? Perhaps your camera hardware just died, and it happened exactly when you flashed a new rom.

That's entirely possible.
However, my UPDATE PRL and UPDATE PRI is doing the same thing.
BTW: Swag (no swag) is pretty close to a stock rom.

[Q] Issues with [Nightlies] [d2tmo] PAC-Man AIO Install

Coming from a 4.2 version of PAC-ROM I wanted to upgrade to the 4.3 version.
I am using TWRP for my recovery mod to install the 4.3 nightlies from the [ROM] [4.3] [OFFICIAL] [Nightlies] [d2tmo] PAC-Man AIO. The issue is I can download the 4.3 gapps and the 4.3 nightly and install them fine. The phone reboots and I get to set it up like normal. However there is no phone service. So I try to reboot the phone after rebooting it will sometimes boot and have service but most of the time it will just hang on the boot load screen with the blue logo. I have tried every combination of wipe and format. I don't have anything I am trying to save on this phone so I don't care if I lose anything.
Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong? I have no issue installing any older version and other roms seem to work great. I just love the PAC-ROM.

You answered your own question. I might suggest using the last stable 4.2.2 release of it?

I understand, but why wouldn't it work on a clean phone? It works on some phone and not on others? I just like to have an idea of why and if it is possible to make it work.
Thanks

I think you already know the answer but don't want to accept it. It's most likely an unusable buggy mess like every other 4.3 ROM. I really don't understand how people can use these as DD. 4.2 was pretty bad when it was first released (4.2.1?). Calls wouldn't come through sometimes, couldn't make outgoing calls sometimes. It got a lot better in the end. Except that you had to have a custom kernel to keep the battery drain in check. Anyhow, 4.3 is 10x worse than 4.2 on it's worst day. Half the time, your IMEI or baseband is unknown. This means no calls and no internet. Why put up with it? For what? I love AOSP, but issues like this are ultimately the reason I'm using Dandroid now.
If you have a T999, and the ROM is specifically built for the T999, you can't fix it. Because the problem isn't on your end. It's not what you want to hear but it's the truth.

[Q] Phone won't stop charging

Hey guys
I'm having a problem with my P936. I installed CM 10.1.3 and when I put the phone to charge while powered off, it won't stop "charging" if I unplug the charger. The screen stays on with the battery filling up and I need to take off the battery to completely turn it off. This has happened with other CM 10 versions that I used and it won't happen if it is turned on.
Does anyone know this issue and a way to fix it?
I am a newbie since my first flash was this week, but did you flash the rom correctly? Cleaning the caches and the memory?

Yes I did all of that. The problem has happened with all CM roms that I flash into the phone it is not specific with this version 10.1.3.
Did you try a stock rom?
I am using Avatar ROM with Wind Kernel and charging is working without any issues.

Stock rom works fine. It only happens with Cyanogenmod with the stock or Wind Kernel.

Very strange because Avatar is based on CM10.1.

It maybe a fault in my phone but that also seems very strange since stock roms work fine there is no apparent reason for this to happen with custom roms. If the phone is on then it charges correctly.
Maybe it needs to be re-unbricked? Not sure what else can be done at this point.

[Q] no signal and data when installing latest pacman rom

Please help noob here and I'm having problems with the latest ROM from pacman 4.4 build. Every time I install I do not get any data or signal. Also when I try to sign into Google even with WiFi on I get message saying unreliable connection or I'm not signed up for data if issue persist to contact customer service any help will b appreciated.
What build are you trying to install, have you tried re-downloading the ROM also if you're trying to flash a different kernel with the ROM you have to let it boot once before doing so.

[SOLVED] CM12 on SM-T320 (permanent first boot)

Hi Guys,
Did anyone successfully flashed latest CM12 nightly on your SM-T320 ?
I've tried a few times (wiping everything I could, except exteral sd), but everytime I gave up after waiting about 20-30mins on the first boot. The boot animation was showing properly (sometimes the fps went down, but I think that's because the tab was working).
Is there any secret to making CM12 work on this device ?
Installed cm-12-20150131-NIGHTLY-mondrianwifi.zip and gapps-lp-20141212-signed.zip using openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-mondrianwifiue over rooted T320XXU1BNI1 (stock XEO).
