Hello, Have a problem

Hello Everyone.
Recently I have change my HTC Rom and install cynogenmod 9, Every thing works fine except WAZE.
Somehow waze is booting up but there is no maps view available.
What can i do?

Before all of the flaming starts, there's a reason why we have a Q&A section, please use it. This section is only for development related posts. If you really want an answer in the dev section then post it in the thread of the rom that you are using.

[Q] A problem with stock gaming rom stable XXLM8

Hi all, i'm a new user in this amazing forum! I come from Androidiani italian forum and I often look up to new ROMs or mods for my galaxy wonder i8150 ! I found the stock gaming rom xxlm8 in android development section. I flashed it and all is pretty good, but I have Play store issues. In fact sometimes a gtalk's notification appears warning me that there are access's issues accessing google talk. I tried reinstalling gtalk apk , g talk services but I didn't manage to solve the problem. Can you help me ? Thank you !

can you provide the link from where you download that ROM, maybe you didnt flash Gapss (Google Apps)..

Yeah, sure. This is the ROM's link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1863124 , but there's no gapps zip.. it's a nandroid backup to restore from cwm

Please help me, I really like this ROM and it's perfect for my usage!

flash in browser

Hello. I have been flashaholic rom'n as per usual and i noticed that jellyrom 16.0 allows desktop browser mode in the regular browser and all the flash works!!!! I wanted to try out the floating multi mode phablet goodness and it seems like they dont support it. I tried flashing the multimode and it didnt work the phone wouldnt boot after that.
I then flashed the wolfpack rom which looks to be working but the floating multiview toggle isnt showing up and the flash in the browser doesnt work i see an "install flash" button =(
what can i say so far its a bad flash day =(
Does anyone have answers to these mysteries? Since I like to flash/try out different roms is there an apk or zip i can flash that will allow flash to work in the browser? especially in floating multi wow!!! can you imagine?

Flash is more browser dependent. One, need to make sure you have flash installed. You can download it directly from Adobe: linky. I don't know the link for the latest version, but just scroll down to Android.
Two, need to make sure you have flash friendly browser. If the browser isn't working the way you like, you can try different one such a Boat Browser. Dolpin Browser works well, but I couldn't get it to Dolphin to open on the GN2; there are some other potential issues with tracking that's beyond this topic.
Personally, I've used the floating browser with flash once. I was streaming SiriusXM through boat browser, and had navigation running. I was running a deoxidized stock MA7 rom with Persues Kernel.

I am using this ROM for a while now and I'm happy with it.
The only problem I have is Bluetooth audio streaming to a Bluetooth speaker.
It works perfect with version 7.8, but all other versions above I'm having problems with proper streaming.
Anyone else experience that?
Any ideas?

Waiz for.next.build. SlimRoms.merged a lot of upstream changes for Bluetooth now.

Do you know about this problem? It's working very good with 7.8, but all other versions are really bad for Bluetooth.
Anyway, I wait until you compile and upload the next release, and then I give it a try.

i just installed Version 9 of this rom and it is actually very good and very fast.
I am just having the problem to create any folder on my homescreen.
If i move one icon over the other one it just jumps away.
Can anyone tell me how i can create a folder, to put some icons in there like for example a Systemfolder for all apps they have to do with system, or any other folder?
OK, finally i am able to geht some folders. But if i give them a name , i cant See für Name unless i open the folder.
And also the Name of the apps are gone.
Is that normal? Anyone have any idea?

Issue with Samsung Kies
i flashed Slimkat 9 ROM in my tab 3 311 and it worked. Dont have any problem. But i am no longer able to connect my Tab 3 311 to my pc via Samsung Kies. It says reboot your device every time and still nothing. Need Help

Kies only works for unrooted stock roms.
If you want to backup contacts, sms etc. take avlook on My Phone Explorer.

The thing is I have made an backup of my device applications, contacts and all by using Samsung kies before flashing this slimkat 9 ROM. Now as I want to restore those apps, instead to download them all over again, I can't connect with kies.
So if you can give me some tips how to get those apps restored back on my tab, it would be a great help.
P.S - I love this ROM, my first custom ROM. Plz help

There is no way to get Kies work on custom roms.
Maybe google if there is a way to extract a kies backup.

I flashed this ROM in my tab 3 311 and it is a great ROM. The only major problem i faced is I can't connect usb pendrive via otg cable.

Hi,
im a bit new to the custom rom scene, i recently installed the latest slimkat build on my galaxy tab 3 8.0 and a few apps come up with the message "package access helper has stopped" i did a quick google search but seems like there's no fix. Just thought id ask here anyways if anyone knows of a work around? If not do you know what roms do work fully?

chrome opens in small browser window
Runming pacman rom on tmobile note 3. All of a sudden today my chrome browser will only open in small window. This is annoying any ideas on fix would be appreciated. I cleared all data. Didnt work. I uninstalled and that did not work either.

Sharing Issue
I've been using this Tom for a few days now. I just noticed when I attempt to share anything, the screen goes black after selecting what I want to share with. Any fix for this issue? I have installed the xposed framework and xposed multiscreen, could that be related?

Is there any chance we can get a expanded power menu options on the zion 959 lollipop? Also how do you disable the arrow from showing up when i use the s-pen? Zion, you have the best version of 5.0. It beats all the other versions on antutu benchmark

You can't.. It need samsung framework... Try SwiftKey or lg g3 keyboard instead

The option to encrypt an external SD Card appears to be missing. Is there a way to encrypt my SD Card on this ROM?

RC-3 Play Store
I'm having a problem with the play store. A lot of the apps I use shows up as "not compatible with this version". No matter what I try, as far as play store fixes I find online; DPI, xposed mods, fix apps, etc; doesn't seem to work. Love this ROM, but that is my ONLY problem, apart from NFC not working. Is anybody else having this problem? Any help will be apreciated.
