I was an apple/iOS fanboy b4, like i begged my parents to get me an iphone (i am a student so yea) with no strong reason, but because of lack of budget and all, i settled for my first Android smartphone which is my SGY and i never regret getting it.
So yea you can say it was like destiny lol hahahaha. I like Android mainly for its customizations and flexibility

If you jailbreak you get Cydia, a store for jailbreak-specific apps.
They don't get the Android Market.

I honestly dont think so. IF this is true then the reason this can be done is because Android is "open source". Apple's iOS is NOT open source so there would be all kinds of licensing issues and knowing Apple... they would sue EVERYONE for even THINKING about doing it... LOL...

The 2nd link in my post is for a site that guarantees that you will DUAL BOOT iOS and Android. This does not seem to be a theme... They even claim that Flash will work which would be impossible on an iPHONE with just a Cydia theme on it...

That link is Android running on an iPhone. Android is open source, so yes I'm sure that's possible, but that's not what I said...

Even though Verizon has somehow managed to get their head out of....long enough to submit binaries and drivers to AOSP, Sprint has so far refused to do so for their version of the Galaxy Nexus.
What this means is that it will be harder for our awesome devs here to build custom roms from source. So if you enjoy custom roms on your Sprint G-Nex, hit them up and leave a message asking for the drivers and binaries to be submitted.

Honestly I am not as worried as I was, I mean we had jelly bean port off a port the day after and everything is functioning. So I am sure we will have our custom Jelly Bean Roms with as many mods as we did fully functional. After all we do have a nexus device which even though its a lot of hard work it will always have all features working thanks to are many awesome developers.

Its not gonna happen per Jean Baptist quero the toroplus is not gonna be supported in aosp however that does not mean custom roms cannot happen as I and I'm sure others are working on the device tree and a rom also but unless odds turn the toroplus since it is a Samsung device rather than Google will not be supported in aosp
The reason for this is because CDMA is not an open platform. GSM is, which is why there are GSM hacks and cellular sniffers and etc.
CDMA is not open sourced and there is proprietary information that cannot be made public for the world to see. This is exactly the same situation on Verizon.
So Google cannot FULLY make the phones compatible with AOSP but that doesn't stop the devs from grabbing the source, slapping in the required APKs, and building a rom. The Verizon edition has never had any timing issues with releasing the latest and greatest roms. In fact we've had 4.0.4 and 4.1 faster then the other models.
It isn't about the model rather then how many devs are using that model and/or willing to port/create roms for it.

I haven't the slightest clue to build anything so just wondering if there are any developers willing to take on a project like this. I'll post a video from YouTube for the OS Demo.

You asked what android version does it work for, hence I said it's not android. There is no mention of it running a similar structure to android like firefoxOS, so if the hardware supports it, the android version won't matter at all.
The video says it might be premiered on Nokia first.

I hate to say it but as far as MIUI you may soon have no choice as developers are adding code to detect if it is being used and miui and if it is then it will crash the kernel and cause random issues.
Now as for the rest. Most here are right. The flaming needs to stop. He asked a simple question and instead of giving good development based answers people want to start flaming. Well guess what. It is either gonna end or people are gonna be banned.

If its that serious you could always download the apks yourself and install a touch wiz launcher or download a touch wiz theme. Maybe buy a Samsung Galaxy 3?

We on XDA have no love for miui. Its alot of the developers here that are doing it.
