Yea running wicked v9 and it kicks a $$. Also darthstalker is awesome too.

Another vote for Wicked. I was a Frosty user too. Wicked is every bit as stable, lots of theming and options (but only if you want them), and I have even better battery life on Wicked than I did on Frosty.
Wicked really is the obvious choice.

Anyone recommend a ROM that has touchwiz and all the samsung apps but is faster?
you can flash it and try them out.
One that supports overclocking maybe?

Definitely WanamLite! I immediately felt the smoothness with that ROM. On a side note, I have a question about flashing ATT ROMs on Canadian variants. I flashed Wanam (and loved it) but my phone kept constantly trying to connect to ATT DM Manager, which obviously won't work since I'm on Bell. Then after a while it would just show "AT&T Software Update has stopped working". There a way to bypass this or something?
Kyan
I'm digging the KyanRom with the KT747 kernel. I'm still trying to find the balance of nice performance and even nicer battery life. The KyanRom fits all of your criteria.
One more for WanamLite. No matter what ROMs I try, I always end up back at this one, everything just works and the battery life is stellar.
Wanam is good.
But Nostalgia is much smaller (150MB smaller). Plus you can reodex it for extra smoothness.

Self promotion!!!! Not that is bad or evil or great, just making it known so others can draw their own conclusions.

My suggestion would be root it and then get flash happy for a couple of days, until you come across the one that best suits your needs. There are many options and everyone has there own preference. I prefer PACman myself.

Rooting is for those of us who like to mess with our phones. Too root your phone and then throw stock back on it in some cases makes no sense. If you are happy with your phone then dont touch it.
Everyone's rooting experience is different so asking others will only give you some false info and some true info. Again only way to find out is to do it for yourself. Go into development and read up on the roms and see which one makes you go damn this looks nice and flash it
You cant recommend jedi jelly to a noob...it still has a few issues to be worked out. But i do suggest rooting and flashing roms. And asking whats the best/most stable rom you're going to get alot of diffrrent answers. Just try them for yourself.

So I used cyanogenmod Nightly and i miss many of the motions provided through touchwiz, but hate the lag in it, I'll rather find a workaround.
So in your opinion
Best choices on touchwiz based roms
Or
Are there any zips I can flash to get motions?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to find all of 4.2.x features on TW Roms. But, a lot of TW Roms have similar features. I know that some of the more popular TW Roms here in the d2spr section are (in no particular order):
MOAR (Mother Of All Roms)
The People's Rom (TPR)
Goodness Reborn
JellyBomb
Wicked Sensations
Honestly, you can stroll through the Sprint Galaxy S III Android Development Section and if you see an "MB1" or "MC3" or "TW" in the title, you can check it out. Most are really good and have options for excellent battery life.
I personally enjoy AOSP 4.2.2 Roms (Currently on Liquidsmooth v2.2) and the extra features of TW (MultiWindow, motions, etc) aren't enough to keep me there. But I fully understand that my experience does not encompass everyone's preferences, so I keep my eye on the TW Roms and will flash them every once in a while to see what's what.
Try the peoples rom

Im thinking about rooting this phone and I would like to know what rom would be good as a daily driver. Another thing is that im thinking of doing the same to my moms s4 but for her I will need a basic rom that will not have any bugs since she doesnt know anything about root. And would 4.3 be good to start or does it have many bugs in it.

All of the ROMs here are good enough to be used as a daily driver. They each have their pros and cons, and all of the AOSP/CM ROMs have little things here and there that don't work JUST right. It's up to you to try them out and see what works for you. I recommend doing a bit of reading on the development and original android development sections.
I'd put wicked 5.1 on both s4s

For you options are endless Try wicked...its full of goodness, or jedi Roms or jovys Roms.
I and most prefer Wicked roms.
Your mom probably won't benefit from any root or roms.. but if you insist on Rooting leaving hers on stock Rom is always a solid choice.
