I have been getting random reboots since past 2-3 days. I tried flashing stock rom, wiping everything but no luck. Currently I am on "AOSP R11 Jelly Bean 4.2.2 JDQ39 + Kernel v3.0.70 Linaro" Kindly see the last logcat taken after the phone reboot. Anyone can tell me cause of problem I am having?
*Bump*
Anyone??

Hi All,
My T-Mobile G2 running Cyanogenmod 7.0 randomly reboots itself throughout the day (average 3 times a day). I want to find out what's causing it. Is there any way to find out what the phone was "thinking" at the time of the reboot? I tried a logcat but it only seems to go as far back as the time it was last turned on.
Here's some additional info in case people know a solution. The reboots did not seem to start until I installed CM 7.0.2. They became more and more frequent over time peaking at about once every 2 hours. I did a full wipe (factory reset, wiped the dalvik and system) and reflashed 7.0.2 and the problem persisted. I did another full wipe, reverted to CM 7.0 and the problem is tolerable at least, but still there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your replies!
My Android Version is 2.3.3, Baseband version is 12.22.60.09bU_26.02.01.15_M2 and my kernel is listed as 2.6.32.28-cyanogenmod-g4f4ee2e [email protected] #1.
Firstly try updating your Radio to a newer one because that looks like the stock one rolled out with your Desire Z. Then if it still reboots reflash a stable version of cyanogen. Then if it seems stable you can try flashing your preferred kernel onto it.
Hi all,
I've been having an issue and I cannot figure it out. While using my phone the screen will freeze. On screen and physical buttons will not respond. The only way to solve this has been battery pull.
Its happened across different ROMs and kernels (all jelly bean based if that makes a difference) including aokp unofficial nightlies, cm10 official nightlies, and stock, air, and popcorn kernels. I have done factory reset to wipe data/cache and wiped dalvik (came from og droid and that's been my habit) but the problem persists. I read somewhere about reboots being caused by permissions issues, but I ran fix permissions in CWM to no avail.
Could anyone offer advice/suggestions/solutions?
Hi Guys,
Every time I flash gapps package on any aosp based rom my phone becomes unbearably slow,
apps takes a very long time to start and boot takes more than 5 minutes to finish.
I've tried CM10,AOKP,CM10 Endeavor Unleashed and jellybam and all of them seems to have the same issue, also I tried flashing an older gapps version, and flashing many different kernels but nothing seems to fix the issue.
This issue didn't happen on stock based roms like ARHD or Renovate they run very smoothly and without any problem.
its driving me mad and I couldn't find anyway to fix it.
I'm running hboot 1.31 so if anyone could tell me how to fix this issue it would be very appreciated,
Thanks.
Hi,
I have been using custom roms for a while on my note II N7100. From my last rom my phone was restarting on its own at least once a day and complete freezing quite a few times. Only solution was to reboot the phone by holding the power button for few seconds, nothing else would work. Even tried leaving the phone for 10-15 minutes however it did not help.
I was using Carbon Rom earlier. I changed Liquidsmooth 2.9 however the same thing happened. In fact the frequency increased with Liquidsmooth. I was worried about a hardware problem as even after complete wipe and with different rom same thing was happening.
I decided to perform a complete factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik cache. After flashing liquidsmooth 2.9 I did not flashed the gapps, used the phone for couple of hours and things were fine. After I flashed the requied gapps - gapps-jb-20130301 - same thing started happening.
Somebody please let me know if I can flash the earlier version of Gapps or later version if available.
Regards
Hello guys,
I have some issues while using the latest 4.4.2 DN3 ROMs. Before installing DN3 4.2 I flashed MJ5 bootloader, and it was running for a couple of weeks fine, then the phone started to freeze and reboot several times a day. I thought DN3 v5+ would fix these freezes and reboots but it was no good. I was really disappointed, as I really liked the look and feel of DN3. Now I'm using Revolution HD 31, it's stable (more or less, a couple of freezes and reboots for two weeks) and fast, but I really liked the looks of the latest DN3...
So the question is - what can I do to avoid these freezes and reboots and will upgrading the bootloader to a newer one will help me?
I don't think bootloader has anything to do with it. I was on MJ5 with 4.3 creikelo and NEVER had a reboot or force close. DN3 just freezes after 1-3 days. I had the same experience. It started getting laggy, or better said, the CPU was doing something, hence the lag, and then it just restarted by itself. And I did clean install. It is enough to reat the DN3 topic and see how many people have problems with it - and most still consider it the best ROM... I just went away to another ROM, and will post results in a week hope it doesn't behave the same as DN3
Thanks for the reply!
What ROM did you install? Is it stable?
I had a problem with mj5, my phone froze on the boot and i had to reinstall the ROM.
I think mj5 is for 4.4.2 ROMs, is a older bootloader.

I tried JellyKat 6.7, but seems I have same issue... at first it was getting high CPU usage after a day or two, then phone became so overloaded it reacted to nothing and I had to pull battery out. Then all of a sudden I started getting SOFT reboots (that means only from the point of boot animation, no samsung screen) and I installed Xposed module Samsung Crash Fix and will see if it helps... I dunno, I am begining to believe there's something wrong with all 4.4.2 ROMs Because I never ever had FC, crash or reboot with 4.3 Criskelo....
