You should buy "water damaged" device from ebay and use its screen/LCD.
Do not buy replacements from china makers. Bad quality parts.

The lens cover on my camera is badly scratched and I need to replace it. I googled but couldn't find a place to buy it. Can someone link me to it? And if I give it back to service centre, how much will it cost me (it won't be covered under warrenty as its manual damage I guess)...

Yeah but this looks a little troublesome. Guess I have to give it to service centre. Do you know how much they usually charge for such things? This is my first htc so I don't have any idea...

Had a similar problem, but mine didnt get scratched. The lens cover wasn't glued properly so ut was sinking in everytime you press on the lens cover. Brought the phone to htc service center. Got the phone back after 2days and they had to replace the whole bezel (casing) in order to fix the cover. When i got my phone back, it looked brandnew. Didnt pay a cent.

Did you get any info regarding the cost for this? I'm interested too... Thanks!
I Recognized some little scratches on the Screen and Cameralense that can only be seen in the right angle and light. And some parts of the edges are chipped. Can this be a reason for a replacement?

Well, where did you get your device from?
Media Markt 2 days before release
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Oh :/
I asked because if you had bought it on Amazon, you would be able to replace the device in the first 30 days without a reason...
But I don't think MediaMark is going to replace your device, as scratches happen and aren't covered by warranty.
However, why don't you go to the mediamarkt and try?
I will try in 2 weeks when i am back home. If media Markt doesn't replace it HTC has to replace it?

Like I said, I don't think you'll get a replacement because of scratches, because it is no technical failure.
Anyone know of a reputable online repair service?
Insurance refusing to pay out, repair is my only option. Screen and Digitizer both smashed.
Thanks.
These people are very reputable. But sure about their prices though. The last phone they repaired for me was a cheap Nokia.

Ring them up for a quote.

You could send it to HTC and have them repair it? At least you know its legitimate.
one of my customers said he used taxi-logistics to have his phones repaired, might be worth giving them a call - they seem to specialise in htc equipment, it doesn't specifically say about hox, but worth a try!
Have you looked at replacing yourself just find the right parts and look for a video on YouTube simple

good idea, would be a lot cheaper, and seeing as its buggered anyways you haven't got a lot to lose..
Hey guys my one x took a tumble and the screen is cracked all over. I called htc usa and they said it'll cost 200 dollars to fix. I do not have that kind of money but it breaks my heart to see that beautiful screen cracked. Have you guys managed to get it replaced for cheaper anywhere in the USA?

There is some screen replacement on amazon, you should try it out, but if only if you are sure you can install them correctly, diy kind of things.

Ebay has a lot of LCD+digitizers selling. I guess to be safe you can always look for one with the At&T/HTC logo on the top. chances are they will be the authentic parts. or search OEM HTC ONE X replacement parts in ebay.

It is much safer to buy locally. Maybe it is a bit more expensive, but it's sure original. I bought entire phone for 75€ with busted mainboard and the display is beautiful (had a Chinese one before and did not know it until I saw the difference now )
