I Recognized some little scratches on the Screen and Cameralense that can only be seen in the right angle and light. And some parts of the edges are chipped. Can this be a reason for a replacement?

Well, where did you get your device from?
Media Markt 2 days before release
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Oh :/
I asked because if you had bought it on Amazon, you would be able to replace the device in the first 30 days without a reason...
But I don't think MediaMark is going to replace your device, as scratches happen and aren't covered by warranty.
However, why don't you go to the mediamarkt and try?
I will try in 2 weeks when i am back home. If media Markt doesn't replace it HTC has to replace it?

Like I said, I don't think you'll get a replacement because of scratches, because it is no technical failure.

Yeah its still working perfect. Just a couple of noticeable scratches in the centre of the display. Really annoying because my screen protectors have been delivered today.

I feel for you. I dropped my 1st One X (fell out of my pocket) when I was kneeling down and somehow I had a mark on the screen. I couldn't stand it. Plus I had a yellow spot on the screen too. After having the mark on the screen I sold it and got a new one.
Have you tried going to a repair shop? I looked around where I live and a guy quoted me $139.00AUD to do my phone. But it doesn't matter no because I sold it.
Out of the box my screen was loose on the left side. I pushed it in and now it's not clicking when I push it in. Exept from when the phone gets warm its a little clicking sound and the screen is flexible right under the charging outtake left side.
Is it possible that the screen will totally get loose again later? It's now 2 days old. Ht24.
Any way you fix it when the phone is warm?

I would contact whomever you bought it from. Sounds like you got a faulty device that isn't what you payed for.

known defect, don't bother nothing will fix it, the lamination is defected, ask to exchange and a newer batch, anything above HT24A
I have HT23 with no issues.

This is my 12th one. No other issues with it. It's actually a little loose even when phone is not warm. Very small tick sound when pressed down.
Really annoying. Don't know if I should bother getting another one.

he is asking about a specific thing, you saying HT23 has no issues means nothing first you only told us which month and not which day about your batch the day comes after HT23
second its completely unrelated to the OP's question!

WOW you have gone through 12 handsets.. HTC should be shamed.. This must be costing them a fortune in replacements.. They are probably doubling production just to keep up with the duds!
Personally I would take it back. .As a poster said above it isn't what you paid for..
Yes. Thanks for your opinions. I will return it. And wait for s3 or a newer batch. I'm pretty tired of returning and ordering new ones.

look if you place a case over it then you will hardly notice it. i am going through the same thing as you..3rd handset i am on now. problem my carrier will only repair it so my last hope is HTC if to replace it or not..if they say to me they will repair it then i can wait till it is completely messed up ie the screen comes entirely loose and then return it..for now the case over the phone will do the job for me as it is not that big issue at the mo...
so for you like hamdir said return it and you probs get a new batch and will be better..
The lens cover on my camera is badly scratched and I need to replace it. I googled but couldn't find a place to buy it. Can someone link me to it? And if I give it back to service centre, how much will it cost me (it won't be covered under warrenty as its manual damage I guess)...

Yeah but this looks a little troublesome. Guess I have to give it to service centre. Do you know how much they usually charge for such things? This is my first htc so I don't have any idea...

Had a similar problem, but mine didnt get scratched. The lens cover wasn't glued properly so ut was sinking in everytime you press on the lens cover. Brought the phone to htc service center. Got the phone back after 2days and they had to replace the whole bezel (casing) in order to fix the cover. When i got my phone back, it looked brandnew. Didnt pay a cent.

I dropped my onex and managed to break the screen. I replaced it with a galaxy note 2 but I still love the onex and would like to salvage it for use with my second line.
Has anyone had any success with having the the onex screen repaired?

I dropped mine too and replaced the screen myself. If you have a little experience you won't find it difficult. Btw you can watch many how to videos on YouTube and find fairly cheap genuine replacements on eBay.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I never did it myself, there are several guides on YouTube but I think the most crucial step is ordering the right part ie screen+digitizer already put together and not one of those parts seperately.
most likely only your digitizer is broken, not the screen itself but it is rely hard to place a new digitizer yourself, a big chance of misalignment or capturing air or dust
I have ordered mine from ebay screen+digitizer together, i tryed first to detach the digitizer but i broke the lcd its almost imposible to do so...believe me im quite skillfull with electronics.
Replaced two broken touches + lcds in my service. No problems, but this is my work
I replaced the screened on my atrix with a so called genuine one from eBay but it scratched right up in a few days so I'm guessing it wasn't quite as genuine gorilla glass as the original.

Hi everyone,
Has anyone found a good parts company yet for the HTC one? Especially if it's in the UK.
I've cracked the glass circle lens for the camera. I have to say I did absolutely nothing yet it's cracked from the centre spidering outwards.
I have seen whole backs for sale in USD. But it seems silly for a centimetre bit of glass that I can just pick out, and push in a replacement.
Any help is appreciated. Google and eBay have been of no help at the moment.
Thanks

I'm thinking it would be near impossible to replace it yourself. Apparently the One is incredibly hard to tinker with as far as taking it apart.

I'd have to agree. I have once again blown a speaker in mine...this makes 3 our of 5 HTC phones I've owned through the years that have had busted speakers. =\
Anyway, in my Hero and OG Evo the speaker was easy to replace, I didn't even bother replacing it in my 4g LTE.
This phone, however, is apparently one of the hardest as far as repair work goes. Ifixit rated it 1 out of 10 in the department.

I went through 4 HTC Ones in 1 week before i got this current one. /knocks on wood
I literally told ATT "if this one screws up to F it, ill take an S4". I can only tolorate defective products and replacements for so long.
4 Red Rings before I said screw it n smashed my 360 to all hell. Got tired of sending it in, waiting waiting waiting, getting it back only to have it screw up again. repeat
