[Q] Updating TWRP - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

On the file repository at Rwilco12 all of the new TWRP files after 2.4.0 are like 7kb or so. I tried to just install the zip 2.4.4 after 2.4.0 and it failed. Do I need to install each little file form 2.4.0.1 on up?

Use goo manager on play market. ... install hit menu and install open recovery and it will do it all

Turn off the phone, turn it on, wait for blue led and press Vol.Down.
Select Recovery, Custom Recovery, Install zip from sdcard, Choose zip and select the Swype one.
Reboot and you're done.
Already tried that, but the install gets aborted, no idea why.. Any other ways to install it?
Installed the way listed above worked perfectly

I've read somewhere in the main CM7 topic that another way is possible...
Here you are! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14411454&postcount=5732
Got it working, I was using the attached file from the swype thread, which apparently does not have the install script. Downloaded the swype installer from the link instead at it worked like a charm!
Thanks for all your help!
Swype 3.0 (the Zip File contains Ver 2.x)
Another method is to go to the Swype Homepage (https://beta.swype.com/) Register for getting an Beta-Tester Account.
Step by Step Guide
Possible Problems:
You have an older Swype version installed (from zip)
- Just re-install or update your CM7 with the latest RC or nightly like
3) in Thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1065798
Now the old Swype should be gone...
Swype crashes after installing was sucessfull
- Deinstall Swype via Settings/Applications, reboot and re-install from the Swype installer.
I tried it today with the latest nightly...

im on the one rom manager installs 6.0.1.2, and its the at&t sg3. i don't usually like to use rom manager but i couldn't get the recovery to install using terminal commands.
You may wanna try team win recovery.
Uninstall ROM manager and install goo manager. Then you open it, hit menu key and install recovery script. Reboot in recovery and try

[Q] Installing .zip files all at once

Hi all!
I have a bunch of .zip files that I install via CWM after every ROM installed. Is there any way I can install them all at once?
Cwm actually is iphone of mobile world.
It is popular but doesn't does much.
Use twrp instead.
TWRP FTW

As the post above suggested use TWRP. It allows you to install numerous zips at once. Install by downloading goo manager from the app store. Click on the menu button within the app and choose install open recovery script.

http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/n7100
choose the method u wanna install with.
use .img to install directly from mobile odin.
use .zip for use with cwm
use .tar for odin
or simply use the toolkit but it has a previous version
latest is 2.3.3.1 , i think toolkit has 2.3.2.3

Flash Player on Note 8

Hey guys...any of you know how to enable flash player on any browser in Note 8?
Sent from my GT-N5100 using xda app-developers app
Yes, to enable flash for the stock internet app you only have to download the flash app from adobe and sideload it. Here is the link.
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/...roid/11.1.115.58/install_flash_player_ics.apk
This app gets updated atleast once a month so just do a google search for android flash archives and choose the top option that links to adobes site. Halfway down that page you will see android 4.0 archives. These work on every android 4.0 and up.

'There is a problem parsing the package' - is what I get when I try to install the apk.
And yes, I have enabled the installation of non-market apps.
I also tried the apk from here: http://d-h.st/A6V
But get the same error??
