is there any way to put the music player on the lock screen ?
Stock music player have no feature like that. You need to install another music player that support it.

How about you give UberMusic a try?

Not going to lie, PowerAMP was my first purchase on the Android Market and I am extremely happy with it.
The best feature for me is the ability to view my songs as folders since I already have my music organized by artist/album and I don't need the library. Anyone who's using their phone as an mp3 definitely needs to try it.
PlayerPro.
Well, there's one good thing about the music app besides the built in eq. It's not screwing up album art like the latest player on the nexus s did. Thanks Google for finally fixing that. Now if they can only lick gapless...

If you flashed gapps you can just download a music player from the Play Store

From what I can tell, latest gapps packages are dropping music player so people move over to the Google Play Music app, which I like, but many do not.

I don't think gapps ever had a music player to it.

Pull the one out of CM9. I just flashed AOKP and saw the music player disappear so will be doing this tonight as well.

Okay, I absolutely love the native Samsung music player on my Galaxy S III. The sound quality is amazing in my headphones and my car. However, there are some things that need to be improved like downloading album arts, organizing my music by their albums and such. I've tried n7player but it doesn't help out much. I've also tried the tag editing tools and other music players like zplayer, playerpro and other music players in the Google play store and those don't help out much either. Any other solutions?

PowerAMP is my favorite music player on Android, and it can do all the things you're asking for.

I dig Apollo myself
I don't like Apollo... it doesn't pick up my album art.

I like default player too and I'm looking for a chance to insert in An option to download missed cover art...like on HTC..and like on third parts apps....without install other apps...
Some help? Have to root?
I'm on gs3 stock..
Thanks
I recently installed a rom, and its really good but the only downside is that it's missing the stock Samsung music and video players which I really like; so if anyone could help me out with a flashable zip or even just by telling me which files from the stock firmware I should copy over and whether I would need anything else. Thanks
