Arc camera problem!!

Sometime when i use my Arc to take photos ,it will tell me there have a unknown error then,it also force close .does anyone have same problem???

I also don't have that problem and never heard of it... So I can't help you.. Maybe because of an app you installed?

Or you have deleted something from system apps?

hmm in my arc on low light photos (almost dark or fully dark) i see some green points.. on the visor.. and it moves when i move the phone..

Yes, I have had this happen a few times as well. It seems to happen if I am trying to snap pictures too quickly...hard to recreate tho. Im on generic o2 rom 2.3.3 btw.

Never in my case - so far.

Yes I also have same problem,,
Even sometime the Phone shuts down,, it happened 3 time, to me

[Q] Huge lag in cetrain widgets and activity keypad

This started happening today just randomly and I've rebooted my phone many times but the problem is still here. My widgets like extended controls and On/Off widgets have a 20 second delay between me clicking them and their function being done.Other widgets are completely responsive and lag-free.
Also when I try to call someone it takes about a minute before my phone starts the actual call.If I try it more that 3 times Activity Keypad crashes and locks my sim card.But when I'm reciving a call,it opens right away.
Please help me with this I dont want to go trough another reflash

Do you have a lot of txt and picture SMS messages in your messaging app? That usually causes this for me. I clear them and I'm all good

I have about 30 conversations,it was new years...Anyway ill try it and let you know.
Edit: Umm...Didn't quite help...It did reduce the lag but for 5 seconds

I dont want to bump this but please help me

I fixed the widget issues with a simple homescreen data wipe

looks like u mite have to flash new firmware I had nearly same problem due to a bad flash everything was really laggy no matter what I tried reflashed and all is good

I had this firmware for 3 months now...only certain apps started lagging recently,I have a nand backup...looks like I have to use it.

I did a Nand backup,and it seemed all good,but I think the problem is coming back...I'll report tomorow
BTW I think the issue is being caused by.......the Blizzard Mobile Authitencator ,I just have to prove it!

Screen flickering on .244 still

I'm still getting screen flickering on hackitz .244 ROM, I thought this issue was addressed with Sony. Now I randomly get random flickers, sometimes it's okay but other times I notice it a lot and it bugs me. Anyways, any help would be much appreciated thanks in return! Also I've installed some mods that might be a possibility so far I've used 5 button nav bar, Google boot animation, purexaudio mod along with srs chsp and DTS sound enhancement. Anyways any help would be appreciated, I'm about to full wipe my phone along with backup.
Edit: I fixed it with a full and proper restore, turns out I deleted a necessary service in titanium backup xD anyways mods close this please.

I've noticed disabling MyXperia happens to cause the screen flickering constantly so I re-enabled it. Soon after I've realized when I followed a tutorial on how to save battery life (for the Xperia Z) I ended up deleting a ton of services such as a bunch of coms.android.blah and VerifyCertificateDummy with a bunch of others and it was constant. I restored and deleted the ones I was comfortable removing/freezing and restarted multiple times to see if the issue persisted. Anyways the flickering is gone now from a completely clean install of Hackitz

I am on stock .244 build with Bootloader locked and I am experiencing the screen flickering problem as well
Though myxperia service is activated on my phone I am still having problems PLEASE HELP!!

I´m from Brazil and I´m having the same problem (screen flickering). My friend has the same mobile and guess what??? The same problem as well.
I asked to Sony my money back, they will answer me next week.
P.S: I sent it to repair twice, but they just updated the software and sent it me back. Unbelievable!!!

It happened to me suddenly after a week of getting new device from sony.i was tensed n reseted my phone n reinstalled software using SUS..now the flickering is gone...i dont knw wether software cause it or hardware cause it...bt its seems fine now

A new fw update for Xperia ZL is available and its has definitely resolved the screen flickering problem with my device :thumbup:

[Q] hysteric touch screen !!

I have a strange problem !
description :
when I touch the screen it respond as I've touched with many fingers and many times
for example : when I write with the keyboard it writes multi letters in the same time and many times
also when I try to run an app it makes multiple operations in the same time !!!
Now the problem occur only when I connect my phone to the charger
after removing it back normal !!
the same problem happens with me (but at all the time not only when charging) for some months so I've scan the phone with bitdefender and it detected a malicious app so I removed it and the problem has gone
but now I've scan it again but there is no malicious apps
I don't know what's happening !!
please help me

What's the app ? and if you havent considered hardware damage to be the reason, have it, since this craziness isn't likely to be a result of software... and from your siggy, i see you a have a good ROM/Kernel combination...

I used to have such issue, when I was using my phone while charging from my PC, though the problem disappeared by itself.

I forgot what was its name but it's related to Bluetooth such as "Bluetooth file transfer"
how can I detect the reason perfectly ??

I think its a charger related thing when my arc was working I had this problem too especially with after market chargers/other brand chargers

No notifications until I "wake up" my phone

I dont get any notifications until in duoble tap the screen to go on and then i am getting all the notifications.
Also , sometimes there is no notification and the LED is fading.
I have tried to switch ROM and i got the same issue , tried to remove Ampilfy and Power Nap , there is the same problem , only using greeinfy and the whatsapp not in the greenify list.
Sometimes i dont need to wake up the phone and i am getting notifications normaly , and sometimes not.
EDIT:
I think i found the issue , G3 tweaksbox has tn option for clear all recent button (replace the original 3 buttons) , this button kills the push notification service so the notifications delayed.

Only thing i can think is maybe something uve debloated but highly doubdtful theres been times i havnt recieved text and calls until later on or what seems like a delayed time i think it was a weak signal prob by chance u dont have the do not disturb clicker on do you

This can could be a google play services error. But you said it was on several ROM's so I think it is a hardware/software issue. One you can fix by your own

Yep , i have debloated more then 300 mb , i am doing this every ROM flash , but the quastion is way sometimes i dont need to wake up the phone and i am getting notifications normaly , and sometimes not.

I had this issue on every ROM that i tried , dont think its a hardware issue because sometimes i am getting the notifications normaly.
Thanks to both of you , i read in the internet about this issue , but no one have really sulotion
