Anyone have a good guide or point me to one about how to edit apps to fit a new DPI setting?
Many Samsung apps doesn't support 240 dpi. If it doesn't FC, it looks bad.
I already know how to compile/decompile apk, I just need to know what files to edit.
Hello:
I have been using the hybrid (saurom) rom for a while with 240 ppi resolution, in order to do this, I just patched the keyboard with the 240 dpi keyboard mod found in this forum.
I recently changed over to Jedi X6.2.1 and I cant seem to make it work. I patched the samsung 240 keyboard and it still gives me FC!
Can anyone instruct me on how to use the Jedi rom with with 240 dpi?
Best,
Estefano
Anyone?
Anyone know how to solve the above problem?

I've seen posts before on the stock Samsung Keyboard modded to work on 240dpi, but I am on 200dpi and I would like to mod the keyboard to run on that dpi or any dpi for that matter. Not just 240 or 320. Does anyone know what might be needed to be done to make that possible or even just the right direction to point me to help me getting started in modifying the stock keyboard?

Hey guys, anyone know how to change the DPI on SlimKat 4.0? Everything's a little tiny for my terrible eyes.
Thanks!
Look in the file /system/build.prop. Edit the value in there.
use app texdroider_dpi from playstore.
set dpi 480
So i like to keep my screen dpi at a nice 420. Everything works fine except that the sense dialer is to big and covers contact names. Is there a way to fix this? I'm assuming I need to change the dpi of just this app, but I am unaware of any per app dpi mods for this phone.
I'm on leedroid if it matters
What app did you use to change the dpi? I'm on LeeDroid and used Texdroider to change the dpi down to 420 and my dialer is just fine.

Just straight build. Prop edit. Will try with the app
Update: its a bust, still to big. What dpi are you using?
Grab the xposed module "app settings", some of the settings it manages is per-app dpi, resolution, font scaling, the works. I use it to keep sense home, the themes app, and dialer all at stock 480
Yeah, I made a mistake. My Texdroider settings didn't stick at boot for some reason so I was back on the default 480dpi when I looked at my dialer. Set it to 420 and have the same issue that you do.

i forgot about xposed, but would really like to hold off on using it until it hits stable status (or at least auto updates with fixes)
