Based on the Partial Wakelock function of BetterBatteryStats, I'm getting the most partial wakelock drain from AudioIn_167F. Google seems to have nothing on this and neither does this forum.
I recently installed the Dragon App and I wonder if this wakelock is caused by the program listening for me to say "Hi Dragon."
Any ideas (besides the obvious - uninstall Dragon) are appreciated. I'll probably just go ahead and uninstall it, but just wondered if anyone has seen this odd bird.

These two items are causing kernel wake locks about an hour apiece overnight, using BetterBatteryStats to observe. I lose ~20% battery.
USB tethering is unchecked under settings. I've also tried a factory reset and backup restore.
Every discussion on these two items found on Google have produced no answers. Just wondering if anyone here has a clue. Thanks.
I'm having the same problem. Not sure what's causing it. Google brought me here.
Me too same issue.
hi,
to find out which apps / processes are causing these locks you should install
BetterBatteryStats: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
also try and search that thread for the locks you mentioned, i'm sure you'll find some useful tips
about the alarm_rtc wakelock;
install terminal emulator from market and type these commands:
- su ( followed by ENTER )
- dumpsys alarm ( followed by ENTER )
it will dump some info on your screen
scroll upwards a bit and search for 'Alarm Stats'
here you can find the processes that keep your phone from deep sleep
for instance...the process com.google.android.gsf (gtalk) has been running 584ms and woke up my phone 33 times --> look at screenshot
when you see a lot of wake ups you know you've got a problem
also...try to keep track off the apps you've got running in the background before turning off screen, i always check the 'recent apps' list and swipe away all the apps running in the background before i put my phone in standby
hope this helps you a bit
This wakelock sucks. Nothing I have tried has helped and it doesn't seem like enough people are having this issue to get some dev eyes to look at it.
Flashed to the JB rom on TORO and am still getting these same wakelocks.
Yep. These two wake locks have been my biggest problem on jelly bean (30+ minutes of keep awake! :O). I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Maps and Latitude. I heard uninstalling maps and then reinstalling from Play Store or reinstalling the 6.9.0 version fixes this, will try this and report back!
Any luck? I tried disabling maps and was still getting the wakelocks. It may have been a little bit less frequent.
Same Issue
Hoping someone figures this out soon. Having the same problem on multiple kernels/ROMs.
I am having the same problem, has someone got to know what is the source of these wakelocks?

I'm receiving the same issues with my GNex. Any solutions?
Same here, been researching with no luck
Hi,
I tried to search the whole wide web for identification on this particular wakelock, but the search came out negative. I have rooted Nexus 7 (2013) with stock rom and this wakelock is getting over a thousand alarm wakelocks per discharging cycle. I know it has something to do with scheduled tasks, but have you guys had this same issue with your Nexus? Can't say how much this effects the batterylife, but it would be nice to know what causes this and is it avoidable
Here is a pic from my BetterBatteryStats so you can see the wakelock in question:
So it is called ALARM_WAKEUP_ACTIVITY_DETECTION.
Thanks!
Figured it out, at least i pinpointed the cause of this wakelock. It has something to do with Googles location services. I turned all the location services off and the wakelock disappeared. Why does Google want to wakeup my device every 3 minutes even though i have device management off, google now off, everything else that relates to location, off?

Turning Google Now off usually does it. Did you have location history and/or reporting on?

I had Google Now off as well for a few days without any effect. I also disabled the history and reporting and no effect. The only thing that ended those wakelocks was to permanently shut down location services. But it's not a burden to me, only a few clicks and i can have them on when i need them.
Hey guys, i just did a clean flash of PureNexus rom and ElementalX kernal and i noticed that my standby time is terrible. After downloading better battery stats i noticed that the phone is actually not going into sleep mode ever. the wakelock is listed as "CMWakeLock" and its related to google play services. Does anybody know anything about this? I tried installing greenify and using the greenify system apps option but that has not helped anything.
The wakelock is called "BSS_InDisplaySensorHelper", it just appears since few days ago and drain lots of my battery. It's found under Android System in better battery stat. Does anyone know what it is and can I stop it?
Thx a lot
I have discovered that the wakelock comes from process to show the fingerprint icon on the Always On Display. In fingerprint options, if you disable "show on AOD", that wakelock will never raise again.

I can literally find zero result mentioning it on google.
Thx
