Did you get permission from them to post this? Great rule of thumb is "if it is not your work then dont post it"
I was going to, but I didn't hear back from drew. He's never on xda these days...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
He's just throwing it out there, he didn't take any credit for it. I would think they would want people running their ROM, let the mods handle that part. That's their job, not ours. If there's a problem, it will be handled and lesson learned. The burned hand teaches best.

You have to have the dev permission before posting their work.

On this ROM after seeing this thread. Currently on the latest nightly and I am LOVING it, coming from the PACMan rom. My only issue so far is the MMS Theme options not sticking for the actual conversation view. Can't get alternating colors to stick. Background will change, conversation list colors will change... just not the single conversation view. Gonna try the milestone version and see if that fixes it.
DrewGaren acknowledges this thread on his website
If you read his blog he said he only has a few forums made, but if you head over to the XDA link at the top you can see the unofficial d2att orca thread that will bring you here. Hopefully when milestone 2 is released he'll make an official debut of Project Orca for us.
That being said it was pretty smooth and very customizable. I ran the milestone for a few days but I found a lot of my apps I restored with tibu would fc and I couldn't get the play store to work at all. I tried to clear cache/ dalvik, clear play stores cache and even update to the latest nightly but still no go. I had to go back to a different ROM but I still miss what he incorporated In to it.
So Far So Good
I have been following Drew for awhile and I do not normally post, but I have had this as my daily driver (1.08 AT&T) for a few days now with no issues that I have found. Everything works well and I have no ideas of a change anytime soon. People should check out his work and support him if they can. I read on his page he will be out of town for a week making a nightly postponed until he returns. Looking forward to his next Milestone.
This thread was hard to find. I found it via Google, not XDA search engine.
For those interested in a Preview Video, it starts at 1:33
This is definitely one of the best ROM's and it is maintained by a DEV with high standards and a whole lot of decency. There's a whole lot of people who would like his work and should maybe check him out on Google+ or his site and just see what he has brewing now.....

#2 YOU may think it's pointless, But many people including myself like them, & since it's my ROM, they are there. Feel free to make your own without them.
#3 If you would've waited a little bit before you started pissing on the thread, you would've found a No Softkey Mod To Remove Them.

MODS
I am starting to build & post the Mods for this ROM, just check the OP.
I am open to input as to what direction you guys would like to see this build go, so tell me what you want. I would love to have some input on what kernel you would like to see included, then I can add a custom kernel, or would you rather it stay stock ??
If any of you ran my Sensei Mods for the Droid X, then you know that the aim of these builds is a close to stock ROM, with tweaks & options to make it better, with great battery life & stability as the focus.
Thanks & Enjoy~

Hey mobile_sensei since I came to the NS4G I have used your elite and gummy roms, as I have had no problems with them at all. They seem to run smooth and get good battery.
I like the matrix kernel that the newest Gummy rom has. That is super smooth. Also some mods that I would like to see is the clock in the middle of the status bar (white), a battery percentage mod, and a no soft key mods.
Thanks again for the hard work! (and listening to our input)

Installation:
1: Make a backup! (never hurts, ever)
2: Either wipe everything manually, or flash the ROM directly. SuperWipe is already integrated into the install zip (SuperWipe thread LINK)
3: Flash the ROM
4: Reboot and WAIT....
IF YOU HAVE BOOTUP ISSUES
Flash the JellyBean bootloader from above.
Theres a very high chance that alone will solve your bootup issue!
Recommendations:
When you reboot for the first time after flashing the ROM, it may take anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes to boot up. Dont be alarmed! Just wait patiently. All my testers have been successful in booting this up, even though their bootup times varied quite a bit. Just let it sit.
Also, when you get into the ROM, and get stuff set up, let it SETTLE for a bit. Scripts have to run, and things need to install. It will be choppy at first, but a few minutes of use will smooth is out. After that, even after a reboot, it will be smooth right from boot up!

The list your trying to find, isnt really a list as such right now. There are AOKP fixes and whatnot, but my personal touches, at this point, are 95% behind the scenes. Memory tweaks, image optimization, bloat removal, things like that. Theres more to come, just be patient. lol

Bad ass ROM, Drew. Thanks. No hiccups so far.
Fun ROM, sorry I took so long to reply again I just got off of work finally. Anyway found a couple bugs...
In the toggle settings the "Profiles" toggle makes SystemUI force close while selected.
The mute state doesnt work (though this may be an AOKP bug).
My CRT animation is landscape... Even in portrait... Not sure what set that off.
Also had two random reboots, once while setting up and once while writing this post.
Great ROM with lots of features : D keep up the good work!
I had the alarm set this morning and when it went off, the phone rebooted. Tried 6 times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Happened every time.

You "could" but who knows what bugs you'd end up with. Since this is true 4.2.2 and most of the others you still need to flash things to get other kernels to work and things like that, it could pose a problem.
On another note, after the rebooting for each alarm set, 3 random reboots on my way to work. (35 min drive) I really like the look/feel of this rom so I hope this gets worked out soon. Can someone else confirm the rebooting when the alarm goes off please?

Lol. Thanks for checking. I re-dl'd the rom and flashed fresh again and now it works with no reboots. Maybe it was just a bad dl to start with or something got corrupted when transferring it from the cpu to the phone.

LiquidSmooth... YAY!
Installing now.
I've been waiting to root my nexus 10 until this rom came out. Thanks!
Oh snap Official! Know what I am doing tonight!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone been able to set the buttons in the Quicksettings section? I keep changing them, but the Quicksettings panel never changes. Came from clean install, rebooted and reset the Quicksettings config a few times to try and fix, but nothing helps.
I just flashed it and so far so good , but I notice I don't have the latest play store .. Is it the ROM itself or? Oh and the liquid wallpapers (witch I love BTW) , are they in the appropriate resolution? Because they seem a little low on my N10.. Thanks

Fun bug. Everytime I long press an app on the homescreen to move or remove it, my screen rotates.
So found another bug. Bluetooth not working. When i turn it on, it goes off after. Maybe thats the reason, why the ROM has so horrible batterylife. I thought something went wrong by kernel comiling from KToonez kernel in this ROM, so i reflashed him, but didnt work.
Checked wakeups with BBS, it shoows me 2 entries
- BTWakeLowPower
- BTHostWakeLowPower
both with over 86%.
So i think it has to do with not working BT. And thats the reason why my N10 never goes to sleep. I got no deep sleep and that sucks down my battery with 1-2% per hour. I hope you get sortet it out. It is at this point unusable for me. So i must went back to something other.
Big props to the liquidsmooth team. Running flawlessly on my Nexus 10 and Sprint S3.

This is a nice ROM it is smooth and nice customizations.
Bluetooth
Awesome to see LS for the Nexus 10. Love the ROM for my GNEX, so I naturally installed it on my N10. However, Bluetooth isn't working. Is there a fix for this?
Gonna try a new kernel to see if that resolves the issue, but I am not seeing any response from the devs about the issue so I am wondering if it only hitting some of us.

To save me some time, do you have a suggestion (besides stock) of a solid ROM for now with the N10? Thanks.

Yes... it has some features that PAC does not have like On-the-go mode and multi-pane setting page. I like it and running it now.

I don't believe in sleep anymore. I think I'm starting to get allergic to it. LOL! You guys do need to thank my wife. She was not happy that I stayed up to build this ROM.

That I know...This all has been a great learning experience. I'm looking into building a custom kernel next for AOSP ROM. And MultiROM is still being worked on, I'm waiting for someone update their part to get it going.
Running smooth
Only been using for a few hours but ....... OUTSTANDING!
Love all the animations. Device Control is sweet. Everything seems snappier than PAC or CM IMO.
Only hiccup I've noticed is the default launcher doesn't stick. I hit "ALWAYS" and selected in Settings but asks every time I exit an app.
Funds coming my way tomorrow and I am feeling generous!
*****Update*******
Phone must have heard me. Launcher setting sticking now.
Its a smaller file than PAC but just flashed PAC. Would you say this one is better? Lol.
Woo nice

I'm digging this ROM. It has heads up on it. Pretty sure it's like Hover.
