This will enable debug settings and the Java Console. This wont survive a

Goto Settings -> About Phone, and click repeatedly on

 Installation:
1: Make a backup! (never hurts, ever)
2: Either wipe everything manually, or flash the ROM directly. SuperWipe is already integrated into the install zip (SuperWipe thread LINK)
3: Flash the ROM
4: Reboot and WAIT....
IF YOU HAVE BOOTUP ISSUES
Flash the JellyBean bootloader from above.
Theres a very high chance that alone will solve your bootup issue!
Recommendations:
When you reboot for the first time after flashing the ROM, it may take anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes to boot up. Dont be alarmed! Just wait patiently. All my testers have been successful in booting this up, even though their bootup times varied quite a bit. Just let it sit.
Also, when you get into the ROM, and get stuff set up, let it SETTLE for a bit. Scripts have to run, and things need to install. It will be choppy at first, but a few minutes of use will smooth is out. After that, even after a reboot, it will be smooth right from boot up!

The list your trying to find, isnt really a list as such right now. There are AOKP fixes and whatnot, but my personal touches, at this point, are 95% behind the scenes. Memory tweaks, image optimization, bloat removal, things like that. Theres more to come, just be patient. lol

Your right. I dont want to just kang someone elses work. Anyone could do that. I actually put quite a bit of effort into making my ROMs. Im putting more effort into this one, because its newer, and will probably be around longer.

Yes correct, thanks!
I think the hot reboot during sleep is caused by the crt animation but i want to make sure before i go decompiling framework-res and maybe cause other probs.
As for the error in android itself i have no clue what causes this yet, must be something in the framework also.

Thanks for the logcat, i dont have much time to work on the rom with my work so i hope some other devs can jump in and help out.
Overall performance of the launcher and scrolling is very smooth compared to 4.0.3. This port has much potential.
Dont know if its worth putting alot of effort and time in it though as 4.0.5 is around the corner.
Status update :
Fixed the hot reboots and the errors!
Verizon login is giving me a hard time but it looks good so far!
Goes in beta today !
Link beta is up !
Speedy
Thanks. Downloading beta. If there's anything I can help with, holla. Aside from fixed bug it was pretty solid though.
[EDIT] Works Great. Very Speedy, doing a restore of apps and as long as dead space runs landscape I've got myself a new daily driver. Thanks.
4.0.4 Camera Pic
4.0.4 Screenie
Love panoramic function of native camera! Calendar app is brushed up or I was previously outdated. Most importantly dead space runs fantastic ^_^

Work in Progress
Please make sure you have backups for anything you don't want to lose.
Google apps are not official, this is a community hack, we have tested all apps but you could still encounter issues.
This is still a work in progress. we are working hard to tame 4.2.2, which brought significant changes and bugs.
Do not ask about CyanogenMod features. We will continue to add more features in version 3.x, when we have a 100% stable base.
Installation
Update your recovery to the latest version. Pre 4.2 recoveries can mess up your sd card/storage. We recommend TWRP.
Download pa google apps: http://d-h.st/Do8 Updated 15-JUL-2013
Download rom: http://d-h.st/AnC Updated 18-JUL-2013
Follow PA on Google+ for changes and other info
Perform a factory reset in recovery, unless you are already on PA 2.99+
Flash ROM first, then gapps
Wipe dalvik & cache
Reboot and wait, first bootup can take up to 5 minutes, it will also restart once
Enter your Google account info, press home when you encounter the black screen
After the quirky bootup is over, the rom should work normally
Do not restore system apps, system data and Google apps. This can cause bootloops and other problems due to mismatches from CM to AOSP and Android version 4.1.2 to 4.2
Previous jellybean versions: toro
Features
Hybrid engine ported, Per App DPI and Per App Layout
Tablet UI back from the dead
Per app color
Quicksettings -> Quicktoggles (first draft, more to follow)
New recents implementation
We fixed the aosp lag in the recents view, well, most of it
New SystemUI Icons that can cope with transparent bars, thanks go to John Xionidis
See through Lockscreen is back
Transparent bars + Launcher2 modified to cope with it
4.2 Walls and Sounds
Google stock apps
Extended Desktop
PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT
This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

New option: "large" to trick an app thinking the device has a real big screen. some need it, like amazon kindle to jump into tabUI. some even react on it, gdrive will slightly adapt its layout - makes only sense if you give it a small dpi though.
The algorithm to extract the actual layout containers from apk files works more precise and can reveal more than before. there will still be a few apps left who do that layout stuff in java - we will add an override button for that, but in the meantime you can edit /system/etc/paranoid/properties.conf .layout=360 for phone-like UI, 600 for phablet, 720 = tablet, 1280 = super huge tablet

This is for the VZW Galaxy Nexus. I believe there is a different build for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus (which is also CDMA).
As of right now, no fix should be needed for 1.3. 1.2 only had a (simple) fix because the default DPI was set incorrectly.

Q&A
Q: Your pictures are deceiving! My pie controls don't look like that!
A: Navigate to System Settings>System>Power menu and select your expanded desktop option. Then hold power button and turn on expanded desktop. Voilà! Now stop complaining.
Q: How do I remove this wretched nav bar?!
A: Navigate to System Settings>Hybrid Properties>Interface and set Nav bar to 0%.
Q: These PIE controls are intrusive, how do I turn it off? A: Navigate to System Settings>Toolbars>Trigger area and set to none.
Q: My gps icon won't go away.
A: More than likely Facebook. You can get rid of it by opening maps and getting a lock, then back out or reboot.
Q: I'm getting status 7 error when flashing.
A: You need to use either CWM Recovery or the newest TWRP to flash.
Q: Can I still use the S Pen?
A: You can but it will not have any of the same functions from a TW rom. IE... Hover select, screen shot editor, double tap quick note....
Q: Where is multi-window?
A: Still on the TW rom you left to enjoy some AOSP love. AOSP is as clean as it can get and won't include any of the motion features nor the multi-window.
Thanks for bringing us this rom! I tried this on my gs3 but had 2 rows of notification toggles in the notification pull down. How can i eliminate one of the rows? Thanks so much!
This is great. The roms are getting pumped out big time. Thanks

Well it depends on which you want to remove. The bottom row is AOKP, so you access rom control in settings and remove power widgets. The top row is cm. So you access those in settings/system.

Thanks so much! I read that in the op but I didn't know those were called power settings.
Thanks again for bringing this to us

Download slick_ricks paranoid rom for the sprint note 2. Open the zip up with winrar/7zip. Navigate to system/app and pull out the Paranoidpreferences.apk. Put the apk on your sdcard. Now from your phone, use a root explorer to copy the apk to system/app, change permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.

Who said it was gonna be bad????
Any device as kickass as the GN2 is going to explode with ROMs. Sure it's taking a while, but it's new! I personally, am looking forward to see what devs can do with it! My only fear it when Samsung releases the rumored GN3, we'll see a shift in devs moving to that.
But then again, it always happens.

If the screen is going to be 6.3 inches as rumored, I'm not going anywhere. 5.5 inches is optimal phone size, imho.

Might have to give it a go since the new AOKP has been acting bugging for me and killing my battery life.... How's battery life on this and what's a good kernel for this rom

Bad ass ROM, Drew. Thanks. No hiccups so far.
Fun ROM, sorry I took so long to reply again I just got off of work finally. Anyway found a couple bugs...
In the toggle settings the "Profiles" toggle makes SystemUI force close while selected.
The mute state doesnt work (though this may be an AOKP bug).
My CRT animation is landscape... Even in portrait... Not sure what set that off.
Also had two random reboots, once while setting up and once while writing this post.
Great ROM with lots of features : D keep up the good work!
I had the alarm set this morning and when it went off, the phone rebooted. Tried 6 times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Happened every time.

Can you dirty flash over another existing 4.2.2 ROM????
Thx
Sent from my "Blazing" fast Nexus
You "could" but who knows what bugs you'd end up with. Since this is true 4.2.2 and most of the others you still need to flash things to get other kernels to work and things like that, it could pose a problem.
On another note, after the rebooting for each alarm set, 3 random reboots on my way to work. (35 min drive) I really like the look/feel of this rom so I hope this gets worked out soon. Can someone else confirm the rebooting when the alarm goes off please?

I'm unable to reproduce the reboots when alarms go off. Both with screen on and off and with either lean or AK kernels. Maybe your phone knows you're a Cubs fan.

Lol. Thanks for checking. I re-dl'd the rom and flashed fresh again and now it works with no reboots. Maybe it was just a bad dl to start with or something got corrupted when transferring it from the cpu to the phone.

My B
Just flashed. Didn't realize this was the same as Xylon until I flashed and noticed the boot logo. Just a FYI, I still had to flash KT to get WiFi to work, just like I did with Xylon. Also, how come GAPPS is 200+mb now?
Everything looks great so far. still setting up.
Edit: Chrome doesn't work for me. Just crashes every time I open it, no FC, just goes back to home page. I removed it anyway, but just reporting.
Edit 2: Gallery just FC's for me when I try to go to settings. None of my pictures show up (can't change directory). And no 13mp picture size? and whenever you exit out of the camera app, gallery FC's
Edit 3: I don't know what happened on my first flash, but I wiped system (not data, since I had just damn well finished setting up my phone) and now gallery works, my pictures are back, and the camera works. It also has 13mp option now. Not sure what happened on the first flash, but now all is well
Edit 4: Just realized I didn't flash GAPPS on the second flash. Flashing now. Maybe it's something with the GAPPS package. Will report
Edit 5: Yup, it's your inverted GAPPS package that I'm flashing under the MBQ section. It flashes a different gallery and camera app.
And final edit: I flashed silm gapps that I had on my external SD card, and everything is working great still. I still have the camera app that gets flashed with the rom, and i don't have any of the other junk i didn't use in the GAPPS. So 100%, my issue was with your GAPPS package.
Is there a mirror avaiablle? Download time currently says 2.5 hours - I can try again later or if there is a mirror available? Would love to check this out....
Rom is very fast and after ironing out the issues from before I'm having no problems so far. Only question I have is, what's the difference between this and the other xylon rom in the nightlies thread

Just kind of wanted to test my site out, but it didnt work out the way I hoped hahaha
Sorry about any inconviences guys. and sorry I havent been around. Between work, life, developing for 5 devices, and getting my own ROM project set up, its hard to find time aha
