Can one take s bell, rogers and flash an AT&T Modem/Radio in it and work like an AT&T?
Another words I will get all AT&T bands same at AT&T's?

So they can be used same AT&T on Bell canada and vice versa? Even unlocking a bell or even togers to use on Straight Talk ising an AT&T sim?

Some people have reported that flashing the wrong carrier's modem had wiped their IMEI.

I'd avoid it especially since it probably won't make a world of difference even if the performance was different. If the hardware is perfectly identical, I'm sure it would work but I still wouldn't want to try it.

Yea you can if you got a day to kill messing with your phone and all the programs.... jesh. We tell you not to and it seems like you are making excuses to do it... just save yourself the huge trouble and headache. And us too... don't do it.

Ok i was just being curious if it would be a massive undertaking.

T mobile note 2 problems please please please help

I Just traded a buddy a note 2 for my galaxy s3 plus 200 buck and he gave me the phone and at first i thought everything was great but he had been using the phone on att unlocked and paid to have it unlocked so when I put my sim in the phone it didnt read 3g or 4g for tmobile so I went home and rooted the phone and flashed a custom rom and still really really bad data connection .. If I drive in the middle of town my phone gets maybe 1 bar of 3g or 4g and cuts out so went to tmobile store and they called tech support and they said the phone was unlocked and there was a hardware or software problem with the phone so I have no clue were to check .. I have insurance but because the phone is so new insurance wont cover it because its a hardware or software problem so if you have any way to fix this please please please help thanks..
P.S I have tried loading custom recovery , rom and kernel and nothing still data problems . If I search for network it comes up with att and some numbers 311660 under available networks so there is no tmobile to chose from so is the phone done ??

Im not 100% positive but I think you are SOL. I was reading threads about this recently and people were having similar issues. From what I read there was nothing that could be done. I'm sure someone smarter than me will know.

The guy who unlocked it in the first place probably used the same method, you could always try to redo it, other than that I would dial *#0011# while data is connected and see what band your on and what mcc mnc (or whatever it is on the 2nd line)... some people have report issues based on certain connections

Yea its weird phone will work and get 4g but it wont stay long so im going to play when I get home. Worst case all smash it and have insurance fix it asap but thanks for the help guys.

Looks like your note2 is fir tmobile and yiur buddy unlock this to use for att. Did you try changing the apn. Make sure its the tmo apn.

Open a webpage, while its loading, open dialer and type *#0011#...
There it will show your current settings

Using the i317 on another carrier: 3G problems! help!

Bought a new i317 and unlocked it now I'm using it for another carrier: Telcel
I do get 3G the only problem is that it loses the signal every once in awhile, sometimes it goes for 2 hours without it.
Everytime I notice that it isnt getting a 3g connection (because I want to use it for checking email and web browsing) I turn off/on mobile data and it registers again and no probs until a few hours pass by and then i dont have 3g anymore
The 3g icon never really stops appearing I just cant get mobile data service.
Did I make the mistake of buying an i317 over the n7100 (which is the one my carrier sells and uses) ?

I'm getting mobile data, my problem is that it doesn't seem to be consistent :/
could that still be corrected through APN settings though?

Are you still on the original AT&T modem? Or what modem are you on J2, K7, or MA4. That might b an issue also. And don't try to flash a different carrier radio. I've read that that'll just give a world of trouble.. FYI

No problem. I just did my buddies TMO GN2, to work on AT&T. And someone posted that they tried that in the TMO thread and the phone kept restarting. Guess it doesn't play nice with each other?

Unlock bad imei gs3 (solved thanks to DJ_SpaRky)

I got a bad imei galaxy s3 on ebay with the intention of using it internationally, but I tried paying an unlocking service and they couldn't get my unlock code, and i tried this http://www.worldwebsurfers.com/2013/04/free-tip-for-unlocking-samsung-galaxy-s3.html but when I got to the point where i had to press [4]NW LOCK NV DATA INITIALLIZ that button didn't exist so now my phone is locked and blocked on t-mobile.... Is there anything i can do?

Downgrade your modem and try again. The latest one was patched.

@DJ_SpaRky I tried downgrading to UVLEM it didn't help, any other specific one to try?

gf reported her phone lost because it was cracked, samsung sent her a new one so now i want her old one. I put in my sim card but it says "Not register to network" im thinking maybe t-mobile blocked the phone somehow since it was reported lost but I figured there was a work around. Friend told me unlocking the phone and setting it to international radios may help but i have no idea how to do this since im new to the android community. Switching from iphone to android! So yeah, please help!
White T-mobile Galaxy S4 on jellybean, updating it to kitkat though.

Yup, T-Mobile blocked it.. There's no legal way around it, maybe your gf calling T-Mobile to unblock it, but they'll probably charge her full price for the one they sent her.. You could try using a different carrier, but it could end up being blocked again.. You could also sell it to someone in another country, blacklist won't go past the US

To international what? But either way no.. Your service is denied everytime the phone tries to register to T-Mobile because the imei is what's being blocked

international radios, gonna unlock the sim. My gfs mom is probably going out of the country so if i unlocked it, she could use it outside the US right?and if she can i take it as she'd have to use a carrier other than t-mobile to do this though?

You can't use international radios.. And I don't know, but I would think so, using a local carrier should be fine

There are services that will fix this for you. I payed 35$ for my blocked tmobile s4 to be repaired.

I did this with an HTC EVO 3D. It was locked for 2 years so I flashed the phone to a different carrier and it worked. You might have problems with different features but it is posibble to still use the phone. Find a cellular store that will flash it. They normally charge around 50 dollars, give or take.

This is not a CDMA phone, you can't flash it like that.. And like I said, you can unlock it and it may work with another carrier but it can end up being blocked again, I've seen it happen

This happens to me sometimes and what I do is go under mobile networks and
Go to network operators and I let it load and then it registers on the correct network.
