Does anyone have the Samsung camera working with 4.2.2. This is the camera with the ability record in slow motion. 1/8. 1/4 and 1/2.
It only works on touch wiz based roms.

I am a bit of a noob, please pardon my ignorance. I am not exactly sure how the components integrate.
Is there a 4.2.2 Touch-Wiz rom?
No there is no 4.2.2 touch wiz rom. There won't be until Samsung releases 4.2.2 for the note. The samsung camera relies on the touch wiz framework so it can only work on stock based roms. They are all 4.1.2

Anyway to do this? I tried but nothing happens, still have CM10 camera after flashing zip.
Thanks!
More than likely it will not work at all. The note camera, or any camera apk based on Samsung software, will not work in any CM room. The reason is Samsung camera all required the touchwiz framework for it to operate. CM is not based on the touchwiz framework, and as a result is not n natively supported. Sorry

Makes sense. Thanks for the reply.
I've Googled this and I can't find anything helpful, but I thought I remembered hearing that the stock TouchWiz keyboard on Jelly Bean had a Swype/4.2 like feature with the gesture dragging. Is this true?
That's the android 4.2 keyboard on nearly all touchwiz ROMs.

So the 4.2 keyboard is on most of the TouchWiz ROMs?

the 4.2 keyboard is on the 4.2 TW roms. as far as 4.1 TW roms, if the 4.2 keyboard has been included, it will be listed on the thread as one of the rom features.
when i got my AT&T S3, it had swype included on it. i dont know if thats a feature included on any of the stock firmware here on the forum.
Now that I have the GS3, I'll answer my own question: the stock Samsung keyboard has gesture typing like the Android 4.2 keyboard.
I installed slim bean..but no Samsung apps are there. How do I install snote..music player. And samsungapps.
Please help me.
you can't install Samsung apps such as Snote or Splanner on an AOSP(slimbean) ROM. These apps require touchwiz framework that are only on stock based ROMs.

Aosp and aokp roms don't support Samsung apps as these apps are based on touch wiz as said in previous replies. So if these apps are imp for you so u will have to go to stock or custom stock room

Or you can use alternative apps like GMD Spen Control, Gnote, Keep screen on...
As aosp-holic especially slim my old s2 I may say that note series are ansokute no go for non-tw rom. S pen features are noting to be missed or replaced. And without that this beast is nothing but a chubby usual phone.

So our Note 2 has been on 4.1.x for a really long time. So I've been thinking of moving over to 4.2.2 AOSP now that we still don't have a stock based version of it and it seems Ubuntu Phone Os has stalled.
So my question is, what applications do you use to get the spen features onto AOSP? And what's your experience with the different aops out there that have the same functionality?
Sorry if this has been asked before.
