I have tried porting stock dialer and camera app to Galaxy S2, but it doesn't work here.

I'm running Omega 10 rom and I was wondering if it is possible to have stock android 4.2 apps like dialer, people, messaging, clock,calculator,camera, and gallery without having to flash AOSP rom? In addition I would love a notification panel and lockscreen android 4.2 like or normal jellybean one.

Look in the at&t section for MyRom by almino. He has a gapps package with the camera gallery and calendar, maybe some other things. Photosphere works at least

I know but I want to stay in a TW based ROM due to S-Pen functionality and better overall Camera. Thanks anyway mate

There is a theme for that. .and camera and gallery apps are also available... search in themes and apps section
scribbled from my note 2 (N7100)
Look for a firmware. Jellybam was one of them.

Hi guys,
I saw the MIUI team have ported there ROM and kept all the Touchwiz features such as the SPEN while still adding all the MIUI customisation options by using a Touchwiz Base. I was wondering if this would be possible with CM10? Or AOKP? Well, something AOSP based. I know there are look a likes but to be honest none really are all that great in my opinion. CM10/.1 has SOOOO many awesome features. The themes chooser sor instants.
I think this would be insane. Im not a developer, but i'd be willing to do everything I can to make this possible! - If it is possible ...
So anyone up for it?

I don't think it's as straightforward as the Samsung framework enables those features like split-window and Samsung-specific apps. Having said that, there are third-party options to enable some of the functionality. Note that even in default CM10.1, S-Pen itself works fine, air hover, button, and so on.

Fair enough, but it still has MIUI features? So why cant the same be done for CM10?

Because the whole point of CM is being AOSP+ more features.

Miui is 4.1.2 that too tw based.
First of all s pen functions require libraries which aren't cross compatible.
So the libraries can't be used with 4.2.1
There is no cm10 for note 2.
Only Cm10.1

There is CM10 for Note 2. Although discontinued. Probably should get your facts straight eh?

BUT MIUI did it ... MIUI wasn't originally touchwiz based. So I cant dsee why someone couldn't do the same thing with CM.
Miui was made with touchwiz launcher for note 2.

2 years I guess and not a single rom of this type....
I think that explains it.
I am not sure but maybe 4.1.2 based aosp with s note might be possible.

I was playing with slim bean but I didn't like camera .it is not like the Samsung camera .very clear and give better focus . So I revert back to TW ROMS SSHD v3 . It's there a mod or an app that can make the AOSP camera better

I think you should try the AOSP Camera Mod. Yes I know its for SGS 3. Doesn't hurt to try as the NOTE II Camera works fine on the SGS 3.

I want to know,if somebody can port/learn me how to port the stock Samsung Camera App(doesn't matter if ICS or JB) to JellyBam ROM.I really liked the stock camera app.I would want to use stock and new camera at the same time.Has anybody any ideas how to do this?I know sammy Sources are closed,but can't you do it from,for ex. I dont think thats possible. its been a lot people ask for that. stock camera need touchwiz framework and there are no aosp rom with touchwiz framework. but you may try chameleon if you want aosp feel with stock camera features
