Did you lose your imei? Look under settings - about device - status
Go to setting on application manager and play store ; clear all data and cache.
And restart play storw again.

I do believe you do need at least a data connection, even if you're using the wireless to download.
It has something to do with carrier information, IMHO
Good luck & Aloha

Friends,
Short story: Need to delete /sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.maps/testdata/*
Background: Every now and then the voice instructions from google maps / navigation get stuck in one address (example: turn left on Yousofat Ave.) and it will keep repeating this for days until I either uninstall the update of google maps or remove what ever data is inside /sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.maps/testdata/
I've been trying to delete this folder using tasker by ereasing the folder as root and recursively, I also tried running a shells script via tasker and secure setting with no luck executing:
Code:
rm -Rf /sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.maps/testdata/*
Is there any other way to automate this? maybe when the phone starts or something like that?
There's an app on the Play Store that handles cron jobs... I'm sure you could do it that way.

cron job will execute on the 4th hour but also on boot. this is not happening.
It is not being deleted by tasker or secure settings either.
I do how ever can go and delete it manually
I thought execute on boot meant the job would be active on each boot, correct me if I'm wrong, but it only performs the job at the time you specify.

How come not all games and stuff show up in the play store app? For instance plants vs zombies and peggle don't show up in the app store. But when you search for it on Google and go to the full app store its there but says device is not compatible. I had to download it from other means because I couldn't get the legit version but it works fine. Don't dee why it wouldn't be compatible

Yea his ROM uses the same base as the one I use so there could be a connection. You could ask in his thread if he notices any of the same things?
That sucks, so depended on your carrier you won't see certain things in the app store? Man I miss iphone app store
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
I think its more to do with the country aspects of it. The roms were talking about are ultimately based on a hong kong build so if its registering any part of that itll be different

So I tried downloading modded app store from
http://www.apkmania.co/2012/11/google-play-store-v3109-modded-by.html?m=1
Because the Site on the supplied link in this post was down. I installed, granted root, installed modd, and rebooted. I went in store to search if plants vs zombies was there as a test and nothing. I look at my version and it seems like I have the modd installed 3.10.9

Anyone know how to get device restrictions removed?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Ok here is my 2 cents plants vs zombies wasnt avail on my att note when it was stock either. I dont knkw what it is but sometimes your device just doesnt register the right specs in the market. I dunno why or what to tell you to do. I bought it on amazon to install it on the note. 2nd the modded play store only remove retrictions in place for country or carriers not the same reason pvz isnt showing up
I just want a full app store and to show everything even if it's restricted so I at least know it's there

make sure you have busybox installed. Other than that, it has some lame generic SSID name. I changed mine to know which is was. I just don't like I can't disable the broadcasting.
after i updated my original 10.2.1 to CM 11 my S4 stopped auto connecting to my wifi, i thought it was CM 11 that was preventing it so i flashed 10.2.1 again and it still won't auto connect, I've done 3 clean wipes and fresh installes its getting tedious turning wifi off and on every time i leave the house and come back
I just flashed CM 11 a few hours ago =) I left the house once and reconnected just fine. I'll do a little Google search to see if I can find out anything for you

Roam Control is supported up through Android 4.4.4.
Huge thanks to Mr.Greg for this great app allowing us to force roam on the Sprint network.
@Mr.Greg - would love to see support for Android L as well.
If there is any support code I can provide to assist, please contact me or if anyone else develops a workaround, let us know.
Regards - TD
I really miss RC as well. Service in my area is very spotty and I'll often use RC to roam on Verizon which has awesome service in my area.
Can you explain what exactly this will do?

To go a better signal and data on a different carrier's tower. Mostly used when in a poor reception area.
