Im currently on atom v9, which is 4.2.2, but i wanna flash the new pa 3.1 which is full 4.2.2 which needs the updated baseband and bootloader. My bootloader is currently PRIMEKK15, and i tried to flash the new primcl03 zip but it just says failed in twrp. is there any way around this?

how did you flash the TWRP?? do it as the same way you did flash custom recovery using fastboot
you can get the latest bootloader and radio (in the factory image tgz file) at http://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

Galaxy nexus 4.2.2

Hello, I'm on 4.2.1, but the phone keeps offering 4.2.2, it downloads it, but I can't install it since i'm on custom kernel and phone is rooted.
My question is that if I install the stock kernel, will I be able to install the update OTA?
If yes, then where can I get a 4.2.1 Maguro stock kernel?
Use this app to unlock your bootloader if you haven done so, then extract boot.img from the stock google image(which can be obtained here for older versions). Then flash the boot.img in fastboot.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Anyway, I don't think you will download the whole stock image just to get a 4mb kernel, luckily i have the stock image lying around, so download it here.

.139 recovery version?

I'm trying to get ASUS replacement for my device because of the touchscreen. I flashed .139 stock ROM but the recovery version stays on .90. So I flashed .90 stock ROM and tried to update it to .139 but no update is available for me. I then flashed .97 ota zip with adb sideload. The recovery is still version .90. Can anyone with .139 full stock firmware verify your recovery version? Just let me know your recovery version if you have .139 stock ROM installed.
My recovery actually is TWRP, but when I was on stock .139, I'm pretty sure the recovery was .139 too.
Go to the pre-rooted roms section in android developement, you can download the recovery, boot and droidboot images alonside the pre-rooted 139 rom.
You can flash these separately through fastboot, no rooted rom needed to be downloaded/flashed...

Flashing echoe rom & then updating to the latest stock firmware

hey guys,
i will be flashing Echoe Zen Rom v3 [2.20.40.165] which is the latest rom & will then flash the latest kernel available (Ael Zen v3.5) which was released yesterday... The only doubt i have here is if i flash this rom will be able to flash the latest stock firmware from asus? and if yes how can i flash it... I have seen people having issues with twrp & updating stuff so do i also have to edit the updater script? Please someone enlighten me on this issue of updating to latest stock rom after flashing echoe rom... I know the flashing of entire rom i.e boot.img, system.img etc with adb but is there any other way like ota or flashing directly of stock rom via twrp? i dont wanna edit the updater script & stuff everytime we get an update...
The best way back to complete stock is to use root with CWM recovery and flash the stock zip from your external SD card as the phone goes back to complete stock. Bootloader is locked again after you do this.

Android Q to Pie downgrade?

I updated to Q by flashing via fastboot. I am not happy with it. I tried to downgrade by flashing a stock image via fastboot but I get an error saying the wrong BL is installed. It's asking for an older version.
How can I flash this older version? Or, better yet, how can I flash a stock image or custom ROM of Android Pie without encountering an error?
I've searched and everything I tried from what I found still results in the version error.
If I remember correctly, you'll need to flash using the flash-all script so that it overwrites everything.

You can only downgrade with an unlocked bootloader. Downgrading without can brick your p3xl. After unlocking you can flash the 9.0 firmware and you won't have any bootloader or partition errors it will just work.

Flashing stock firmware without TWRP

I was trying to unlock and flash custom ROM on my Realme x2 RMX 1991 device.
I succeed to unlock the device. but still have some issues with flashing TWRP as a custom recovery.
I was thinking to flash an old version of firmware like A14 instead of my current version A16. and try to re-flashing TWRP after that.
Is it worth it? and how can I flash stock firmware without using custom recovery?
I tried to flash with regular recovery, but it's juts failed because it's older than the current firmware version.
the boot image shows up but ony for less than a second and when i try to go in fastboot its the same .... less than a second
