Only one disappointment - the clock widget - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

I just upgraded from a HTC EVO 4G to a Samsung Note 2. Thus far, I am quite impressed - the new phone is better than the old one in just about every way - except, you guessed it, the clock widget.
Ont he HTC EVO, tapping the clock widget brought up options for setting the time zone, setting a timer, using a stopwatch, and setting an alarm. The clock widget on my wife's Samsung Galaxy S2 function similarly, though it adds clocks for other time zones. I would like to have this functionality on my new phone, but I am struggling to find a widget which offers all of these functions. Note that I have no interest in weather functionality since I use WeatherBug.
Is it possible to copy the widget from the S2 to the Note 2? The S2 is rooted, but the Note 2 is not (yet). If so, can you please provide some guidance? If not, can you recommend a good widget?
Many thanks.

Use MIUI digital clock widget. You can set what app to bring up when you tap the hours or minutes area.

I use HD widgets from the play store.. almost like the sense widget but you can customize it plus a lot more very useful widgets

[Q] [APP] [REQUEST] Clock Organizer Widget from standard Touchwiz 2.0

Hello everyone.
I don't know why, but the idea of extremely handy widget is not covered yet.
I'm talking about samsung widget, "calendar clock", or "calendar organizer", I don't remember the exact name. The idea of the widget is that you see your today events on a round clock. Samsung made the idea, the widget wasn't that excellent.
I've found only one widget on the market that is very similar to this idea. It's called "Clock Organizer Weather"
BUT it's ugly!! Has no customizations, and has weather implemented, which is to my mind not quite necessary. And one more drawback is that you can't really see what's the time at the moment.
So, the question is if somebody can: pull out the samsung widget from TW 2.0 | suggest me a better widget app | develop a new one (that would be very nice indeed)
Thank you for your attention.
P.S.: Here's a screenshot of an app, if you're too lazy to click the link

I finally found it.
Maybe somebody was also searching for it, so I'll post a link.
Samsung TW Calendar Clock Widget is working in the following TW4.5 launcher.

I'm trying to find a reliable weather app to work on the SGN, I found Animated weather to be really cool, with great animations and accurate info

I'll second 1Weather, it's a really polished and useful app.
I also like Aix Weather Widget for a quick look at hourly temperature and precipitation forecasts, and I use Radar Alive Pro for radar and storm-tracking stuff.
I already asked. Have fun:

Beautiful Widgets just had an update which allows multiple locations for weather. And it works really well (you can select Google or AccuWeather as a source), plus you can theme it to match your tastes:

Transparent Accuweather Widget

I'm looking for a transparent Accuweather widget for my note 2.
Does anyone know where I can get one? I've looked in the play store and done a few searches and I can't find any transparent widgets for weather without the clock integrated. I use clock q so I don't want a weather widget with an integrated clock and accuweather seems to fit my taste. I like how it shows the weather for the upcoming days without having to go into the app.
I have found a few but none for the note 2 & I can't seem to get any of the ones I found for other devices to work.
Any help you guys could give me would be very much appreciated.:good:
I've been using Beautiful Widgets for my clock and weather. It has an apron to hide background or set the transparency. I just checked, and one of the options let's you do a weather widget alone without the clock.
Sent from my Sears dishwasher. Or my Note 2. About the same size, anyway.
Beautiful widgets. Lots of choices for weather skins.

Action Launcher - Great improvement for those who like TouchWiz vertical scroll!

Hey all!
I would like to make mention of an unbelievable launcher from Chris Lacy called Action Launcher. It is like the TouchWiz vertical drawer on steroids. The drawer slides out from the left, with an alphabetical list like how TouchWiz can be configured. It has many groundbreaking features that I have never seen in other launchers and it's very easy/clean/minimalist. For those who don't like tons of homescreens but still like to use widgets, you can doubletap or swipe an app that has a widget, and it will just simply popup until you press elsewhere. (Similar to Overlays only automatic, less customization, and not persistent.) You can even do this from inside folders on your bottom bar. I've took some screenshots of my setup to show it's awesome functionality. Note: This launcher puts focus on ingenuity over raw amount of customization. It is not a replacement for you customization junkies, sorry; however, I've found I simply don't want to customize much anymore - it's all there! I hope some of you find something you like in this.

It is pretty cool, but its not free and I haven't seen a lite version. I just downloaded a pirated version to check it out. Many cool ideas, but they didn't work very well. I can't spend money on a work in progress.

[Themes|Widgets] SchmilK's Collection as of 7-25-13

It's about time I get things together and start sharing what I've been making for personal use. My free time is minimal at best and all of these things have been screwed up during creation by falling asleep with my laptop dozens of times. (oldmansyndrome)
Since all of these have been designed for and used on my Nexus 4, I figured this was a good place to add this.
Anyways, I'll keep this up to date and try to get the direct downloads up on the play store.
