[Q] Is it possible to disable screen security based on location? - HTC Wildfire S

When I'm at home I don't need screen security, but it's annoying to always turn it on and off, so I hope there's an app that does that automatically.
I've heard that it is possible to do that with Tasker, but a free app would be better.

I use unlock with wifi its free on the market. All you need to do is add your wifi connection to the app and then every time you connect to the wifi the app disables the screen security. Just make sure that you don't disable the notifications and only change your lock screen setting through the app

Disable screen turning off

Like the title says, how can I disable the feature that the screen turns off after a set period of time? I'm using Cm 7.1.0.1 and when I watch a football game on my phone I have to tap the screen every now and then to prevent the screen turning off, it's really annoying.
Thanks in advance
Go to your lock screen settings (in security settings) and change it to none.

I can't find it. Do you mean disabeling my lock so that i dont have to enter my unlock pattern yet?
Slight bump
App. Screen on works like a charm. I've never seen a setting that keeps your screen on,only a setting that stops the screen turning off whilst on charge, but will still go into dim mode. Settings/applications/development/stay awake.
it made sense in my head !!!

S voice with screen locked

Anyone else notice that the new S voice app won't respond to voice commands when the screen lock is on?
This wasn't the case on the Note 1.
With this new behavior, I can't initiate calls using earphones hands free.

Slight clarification: it's actually not the screen lock that prevents the S voice app from activating, rather it's the display shutting off. If I press the power key while the screen is locked to turn on the display, the S voice app works fine.

I noticed that on my lock screen, when I have pushed the home or power button to light it up, I get the "Voice Not Recognized" message, even though I tell it to wake up ("unlock phone") or even launch the camera ("open camera") If I have it set to respond accordingly to those voice commands, why doesn't it? At the moment I have battery indicator pro app which just disables the lockscreen altogether so it is a non-issue at the moment, but I really would like to get the voice unlock thingie to work as it should.

No it will not, it will use wifi to get location only IF wifi is on and only when an app needs to determine your location.

[Q] one click, update profile and turn on HotSpot

Is there an app that will allow me to perform the following steps in one click?
Update Profile
Turn on Wifi Hotspot
Tasker, but it might be a little clumsy as you will have it automate key presses

Profiles with tasker

OK. I'm on cm 12.1.. I have tasker installed. With the system profiles in settings ,we have automobile ,silent and default. Anyone know of a tasker task that can trigger these? Like..I want to trigger silent profile at a certain time. Its an easy way to set certain things to be either off or on. Ex: data off, media sound on, WiFi on...etc etc
