[Q] Cant go to hboot mode

hello, help me.. when i press (volume -) + (power key) it automatically ON.. not go to hboot mode..

Going in the hboot for the first time may be tough. Press and hold the keys again for the time till it goes on the boot loader mode.
Or if you have your fast boot files the adb reboot bootloader is safe and easy.

After Unlock Bootloader my HTC one V doesn't boot into Bootloader Mode..

you need to keep holding it down until it enters it

Keep on holding the power and volume down buttons(while screen is on home not on lock screen or while in the charger ) .....then you will see that the buttons will start flashing ..but don't release your fingers ....then the screen will become black ...so remove your finger off the power button but keep your other one on the power down button ....then it will enter hboot..you can take your finger off

hi guys, im using tipo dual with stock rom ics 4.0.4, i done rooting unlocking bootloader. but cant get to the hboot.. do i have to flash my phone to some custom rom of jb to enable the function?

[Q] Buttons Not Working In Download Mode

I'm Running CM9-RC8 / CWM 6.0.1.2
My Phone In Not Bricked ,, Rom Boots As Well As Recovery ,I Can Flash ROMS And Wipe.. everything Is Working Fine..
Today I Planned To Update To CWM 6.0.3.0 By Arco68 ,, I Booted In Download Mode In Order To Flash Recovery Via ODIN.. Once Booted To Download Mode It Says Press Volume Up To Continue Or Volume Down To Cancel.. NOW I'm Sucked In This Screen ,Buttons Not Working Volume Up Or Down ,Home Button ,Touch Keys ,Power Key.. Nothing Work !!
I Tried To Pull Out The Battery And Reboot Again Into Download Mode And Try Again But It Is The Same :/ !!
Can Anyone Help ?!!

I had this issue in my fone sometimes, even in the stock rom.
when it happens, try this: hold power button 10 seconds, the fone will reboot. Try download mode again.
Hope it works

Already Tried This For Several Times But No Hope :/

Don't reboot download with lidroid. Just manual to download mode. Turn off - turn on button + home button + volume down.

My Problem Was Solved When Pressing And Hold Power + Home + Volume Down While Phone Is Turned Off ,, Don't Press Power First Then Home + Volume Down !!

HTC Desire eye stuck with boot logo -- can't power down also.

Hi, I updated with wrong recovery file and the device stuck in the boot logo. Even powering down is also not working. I can see that mac detects the USB device as HTC Android device. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello prakash... Press power plus volume up for 10 seconds. It will automatically restart. As soon as you see it's restarting press volume down.. it will go into bootloader..
Flash proper recovery now from fastboot.. enjoy
Or directly go to boot loader if your phone is off.
Volume down + power.

Thanks Stevestone for the reply. I have drained the battery and restarted the mobile and as I type this I am flashing again.

Yes, its working now.

Well I faced the Same issue. Just Press Power+Vol UP ( YES UP) . Then the screen will go black for a sec and then quickly chage to vol down + power to go to bootloader.

Is your problem solved ?
If not how did you get into that problem ?
Did you try force shutting down by pressing power down ?
Did you try "Press power plus volume up for 10 seconds" option ?

1.run Minimal ADB and Fastboot as adminstrator..
2.. test devices 1st.. ( fastboot devices ) check yr phone cnnect or not.
3...try cmman (fastboot devices [-1] )
4. n last (fastboot continue )
5 done...

After the battery drain it will be power off after charging it doesnot power on but the logo stucks

are you flashing cyanogenmod (cm13)... ? if so please give me a viable link.. mine's putting the phone stuck at boot logo just as yourself...

even i am stuck in this mode, after the 3rd step from WinDriod Toolkit flashed supersu, returned to install Lineage OS from TWRP mode, was sucessful in that too however forgot to install GAPPS after that and proceeded further, phone asked that super su not installed and if i want to install one now, proceeded from there and the screen now shows a 'sad Teal colour smile',
Also the volume + power up worked and device restarted however vol + power down doesnt seem to work and device returns to the same state 'sad Teal colour smile'.

When u press +volume +power and it restarts and screen goes black. Immediately press -volume +power. U will be able to get into recovery this way

HELP HTC M8 Stucked on shutdown screen. Power Vol+ or Vol- does not work

Is is a Verizon HTC M8 with S-Team SL 2.0.1. I installed EXtreame Beats audio mod.After install Viper drivers it tried to reboot but got stuck on power down screen, with HTC green letters. I don´t know what to do.
Should I wait for battery to drain?

Do i force reboot to recovery -
power + both volume (+ -) at same time.
As soon as device shutdown , release volume up key only ... still hold volume down key .
Device will reboot to bootloader . Go to recovery, dirty flash the rom again .

Power + vol up + vol down is a battery recalibration, which did the trick in this case.
Force a reboot is power+vol up. You may need to hold those buttons for a minute or so. Folks often don't realize this (don't hold the buttons long enough) and think it doesn't work.

Just upgraded to latest Magisk from the App, now stuck at boot screen HELP!

Just opened the Magisk Manager app, updated from within the app using the Reccommended method, device reboots, now stuck on the 'Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G' screen.
I cant even get it into TWRP which is a pain.

Reboot to EDL/BROM (search for right key combination) and reflash ROM using SP Flash Tool. Then flash latest Magisk

I have let the phone run down battery, pressed vol up and power, but still nothing.

I have already tried key combinations, but still the same.

@hainguyenthao helped me out. Showed me how to get into downlaod mode without pressing power and vol down!
Let the phone power down, leave it for 30 mins or so. then press vol up and vol down and insert USB cable.
OR if phone is in bootloop, press vol down and power till phone reboots, then VERY quickly hold down vol up and vol down and plug in USB cable

Dude, To put device in download mode - Press Volume Up & then Press Volume Down (Keep holding both) and connect device to PC with USB cable.
But for your problem you have to put your device in recovery mode then flash ROM. Still the problem continues, you can try this download link

I've the same problem with my Note 10+... Was on Dr. Ketan Rom and update with magisk app ends in a boot loop, I couldn't break -.-
@vinokirk could you solve the problem?
Edit: Thanks to @starpandi2004 - on the first try I can break the bootloop, but just to the first screen. After choosing download mode, it comes bootloop again -.-
Is it worth to try to lock bootloader and factory reset phone? What will happen? Is the original rom somewhere packed and would be installed again by factory reset?

Bro what about TWRP recovery? can you able access it...
if yes then dirty flash KETAN ROM..it will solve...

just had same same problem.
i connected mine to the pc and use power+up volume until twrp appeear and them restores from last backup

I got the simplest solution for this issue!
If u r stuck on Samsung logo, then try this method.
Turn off the phone by pressing vol down and power button. Once the phone is shut down, release and press again the vol down and power button when u see Samsung note 10 plus screen, then release the power button but keep pressing vol down. Once u see the "Samsung" logo, immediately release the vol down button and quickly press vol up button.
This will boot up without any problem!
