Hi, I was wondering if you guys could add Solavei to the carriers list here in the forum so we can choose Solavei instead of tmobile as our carrier. Thank you in advance for your help.
You can ask that here I believe..

I see a lot of carrier related posting, which doesn't really relate to the phones. What about a new section to cover this as it can be an operator/country/continent away from being of interest to others?
Nobody got an opinion on this? -I have as much interest in Verizon as a Verizon customer has in Vodafone
Would the att users get thier own area to ponder theories on the release date since we do not have a device?

i know somebody here already was asking about this register having at&t and there where speculations, but here is a thought. maybe they want to see how many at&t users are interested. just an idea but to intertain it, would everybody do me a favor and register? (preferably to at&t, lol)

Curious if it's in XDA's interest to Add PagePlus to the selections of carriers. They are a PrePaid Verizon MVNO.
They do have some interest here and feel that it would be in your interest to add it
I use them and didn't find this so I put Verizon with my signature.
There is a thread to request new additions, not sure if there are any criteria but a link to a preferred logo looks helpful.

Thanks! Will post there.
Someone in the ATT S4 forum posted something interesting about a bloat switch. They posted a link to a post talking about a dialer code on a SGH-I317M that basically shows a screen of available carrier bloatware installations and allows for a phones firmware to be switched to a specific carrier market. The post does a good job of explaining this...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34524458&postcount=24 .
I was wondering if anyone was willing to try and see if this code works on the T-Mobile S4 *#272*IMEI# and if so, could someone post a screenshot of what it says. Of course, you have to assume responsibility for trying...if it blows your phone up, it's not my fault!
If it doesn't work, does anyone know of a code on this phone that will show this information?
I think it could be useful for people that want to use their T-Mobile S4 on the AT&T network or people that want to use their AT&T S4 on T-Mobile's network.
It seems counter productive to actually install bloat onto a phone but it could be useful for some and might help with wifi hotspot programs and other things that might be exclusive to each network.
Thanks.
This user PM'd me. Please don't PM me for support. I thought I'd post my reply publicly, as it may be useful to someone searching in the future.

Incidentally, the code does nothing. You don't need any AT&T software to use the device on AT&T and it is highly unlikely that the bootloader being locked/unlocked is at all dependent on such a simple software switch. It would be difficult and dangerous for it to be so.
You will need a SIM unlock regardless of CSC. If you purchase the device outright and it does not prove to be unlocked, T-Mobile should give you a code.

As I stated in another thread, I cannot confirm AT&T LTE band support (unlikely) but you can use their HSPA+ bands.
I'm headed to Munich for 6weeks for work, and I'd like to be able to use my phone while there. But, I refuse to pay at&t obscene amounts of money for local usage. I have the US issued AT&T model, not an international variant (as far as I know).
1: will my phone work with any of the providers there?
2: can someone please recommend a pre-pay provider or plan, or ones to steer clear of? At minimum phone and sms, but ideally with data access.
I also have an htc inspire 4g, whose tiny screen makes me cry, in case this phone won't work.
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
When I moved here I used T-Mobile as my prepaid service. Also base aka eplus. Stay away from those two. Super slow. I am now on o2 which I have found to be best of all but I'm not sure if they do prepaid. I'd check o2 and T-Mobile first. Also. What are you doing for work in Munich. If your looking for stuff to do. Shoot me a pm and I can give you some suggestions on where to go.

Thank you for your response!
I was looking at tmobile today, but it's all in German, and Google translate wasn't helpful; I figured I'd go in person when I got there. I'll check out o2.
Have you had any issues with your note2 and the telcos, sms/data/calls?
I'm working in our munich office on a short-term project. I've been checking out travel info sites for things to do. I'll definitely shoot you a pm this week with some questions I have forming.
Thanks again!
