Hi, I wanted to clear up a couple of things before I go ahead with the upgrade from yakjuux to yakju.
I got my Gnex from a Canadian seller on ebay and I plan on using it in the US on T-mobile.
Current version is 4.1.1
Baseband: I9250UGLH1
Build: JRO03C
Mobile Network Type: UMTS:3
Right now, when I use Google Maps, it's unable to find my location.
Do I need to flash a newer radio also?

Hello,
I am very new to the Android scene, I just bought two GN from expansys. And it seems that one of the phones is google version which is fully updated but the samsung version wont seem to update.
Please note: I am in canada and have yet to put a carrier sim in it. just wifi for now. my specs read,
baseband version i9250xxkk1
build number: i9250xwkk5_ITL41D
Should i return this phone for this? The phone works great and has a great screen so I am hoping I can just keep it. I am moving to the uk in feb so I ma thinking once I put a uk sim in the update will get pushed to the device?
thanks for you help.
What's your build name in the build.prop?
its says in my settings that the build number is i9250xwkk5_itl41d
which is weird since most people have just the ITL41D OR F version. mine seems to be longer. maybe this is what the samsung update was?
thanks for the reply btw
I'd just reflash it all to the latest google build if I were you.
sounds good I will reflash it. I can only follow instructions in numberic sequence. is there a link that I could get that shows me how to do that?
thanks for reply
Hi folks
I'm after advice, answer or help with my Gnex.
I sent my Gnex back to o2 with a dodgy power button, received it back this week, I have 4.0.4 and Build Number of IMM76k.I9250XWLD2.
I have been attempting to root it using Galaxy Nexus Toolkit v7.0 and installing aokp_maguro_build-38 but with no success.
Now the toolkit shows my build number as a CDMA/LTE Verizon version, I understood these to be US only, am I correct?
If this is the incorrect version how can I change it?
Many thanks for your help guys
dont use a toolkit.
use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529058
Thanks
Will give that a go.
With the build number and using o2UK would I need to download the GSM or Verizon version?
Thanks again
GSM. your model number is i9250 which is a GSM model.
basically if you're not in america and not on verizon or sprint, its GSM.
Thought as much, just the build number threw me, thanks
Hello everybody,
First of all sorry for my English and if this thread is not well placed (I have used the search engine and I have not seen an answer to my question).
I am an Spanish Nexus user, the GSM version, but I am moving on Erasmus for a hole year to Poland...so I would like to know what radio version is working better in Eastern Europe (although I will live in Poland, I will travel abroad to the nearest countries) and how to flash it.
I have the stock ROM JB version (4.1.1).
Thank you very much for your help!
XXLF1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20569003&postcount=2
It says "Standard European baseband" and "Originally from yakju IMM76K to JRN84D (Jelly Bean) OTA update."...so if I have JB updated by OTA and de yakju version, I should have it by default, shouldn't I?
Thank you for your help :good:
EDIT: Yes, i have looked into my device properties and it says "i9250XXLF1".
I figured I'd ask here instead of my usual 'try it to see' approach and bricking the phone. I have an Ace IIx from a friend I THINK is from Telus and is currently running FW-C (see below). Can I upgrade to FW-A although it's a different company and will I still need to unlock it if so?
From SamMobile:
(FW-A) Canada (Bell Mobile) 2013 June 4.0.4 S7560MVLAMF2 -> QUESTIONABLE
(FW-B) Canada (Bell Mobile) 2012 October 4.0.4 S7560MVLALJ7
(FW-C) Canada (Telus) 2012 October 4.0.4 S7560MVLALJ7 -> CURRENT
Anyone?

I need to know if I can flash this phone to run some other firmware allowing me to use my phone with GSM. I want to use it on StraightTalk but so far they claim my phone isn't able to be used with the bring your own phone, here are the phones spec's
Samsung Galaxy S6
Model Number: SM-920P (Sprint, unlocked)
software version: G920PVPS4CPJ1
Hardware version: G920P.02
Android version: 6.0.1
Android security patch level: october 1 2016
Build number: MMB29K.G920PVPS4CPJ1
Sprint won't let me use the phone on their network because it has been unlocked and they wont re-lock it to their network. So I am trying to get it to work on the Straight Talk network, I think it's my only option. I have a ATT sim card activated and working right now that fits into the S6 but it wont make phone calls, but will work in my other Straight Talk phone. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
