Im having troubles when using the camera phone
When I take photos with the flash activated, randomly the cellphone turns off and the only way to turning back again it's pulling out the battery or plug the cell to the usb.
This situation not happened when I'm taking photos when the cellphone is still plugged to the usb, i mean if the cellphone its plugged to a power source im not detect any problem and i can using the flash without any issue.
Seems to be a battery problem but I'm not sure
Please I need some advice
Thanks

Not if your battery is completely waste it. Check if your battery pins in your dash make full contact with your battery, because that can cause a problem (very odd, but it happens). If not, try another battery.
Have you checked your charger, I guess is damaged because if your battery is damaged or if is no battery at all and you connect the charger the led will turn red.
sam happened w me, no solution yet
hate to tell you that you might have bricked your phone,
the same happened to my excalibur, when i tried to flash it -mistakenly- with the wrong rom,
thing is; the rom is controlling the power charging process and the battery support to the device, if something went wrong with the rom for any reason; then no instructions are sent to the battery neither the charger, therefore: no power sign of any in the device.
i couldn't find an answer to fix my dash, but i think the solution is either changing the rom or JTAG-ing it might solve the problem, though i have no tools neither knowledge to do so.
sorry pal, the bright side is: you are a member of (BDC) the Bricked Dash Club
cheers

With the information provided it hasn't been your same case due that he hasn´t flashed any other rom, so basically he can try another battery and see what happens.
errrrrr
New Battery - Still no lights and using the reset features found in the unbricking tutorial do not work.
Tried using a cable from my comp to give power to phone so it isnt power cable
So what now? I cant even get to a bootloader screen or anything.... I cant afford a new phone ERRR
**Update-
Was plugging in the USB cable and looks like it gets a connection only when it is plugged in a little but this not just at the end that connects to the phone (it happened when the phone was already plugged into the cable and I was plugging it into the comp and vice versa) Um so that is strange - the light does not stay on and when the battery is in the phone I do not get that quick red flash - so it still doesnt work and cant do anything

Maybe is your USB port causing the problem.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic Touch for Virgin Mobile I'm selling to a friend of mine. It's been working great for me for about the last year on VM. It was rooted and running Liquid Smooth and then CM 10.1 (both using CWM). When I called VM to transfer the phone to my friends account we ran into a road block because CM doesn't respond to the keypad phone codes VM uses to update the phone, or have the VM hands free activation apps.
I figured I might as well flash back to stock ROM anyway. I downloaded the ROM from here.
Odin got about 75% of the way through the flash and then failed. The phone won't turn off but instead keeps up a persistent splash screen asking me to connect the phone to Kies to do a system recovery (Which I did try and Kies can't seem to complete the connection. It sees the phone but can't connect to it, even after ensuring all drivers are up to date. But then I've never had much success with Kies).
I can still get into Odin on my phone so I tried downloading the .exe ROM instead of the md5 this time, but by the time the ROM downloaded Odin tells me the battery is too low to flash anything (which I believe). Problem is I can turn the phone off to let it charge properly (it pops up with the Kies message whenever I plug the phone in).
I've left the phone plugged into the wall hoping that maybe it is in fact charging, but the indicator light only flashes for a second when I plug it in. I'm working a double shift today so I left the phone at home hoping it will charge so that I can try flashing again, but does anybody have any experience with this sort of problem, or know if the phone will in fact charge?

The easy options are to borrow a battery from a friend with a s2 phone, or get a charger off ebay, or buy a new battery from the store which will probably come with a partial charge.
Sounds like your usb port may have died. That happens sometimes.
I was thinking of borrowing a battery. I have a friend with the same phone, so that's possible.
If the USB charger failed, however, would the blue charging light still flicker on when first plugged in? Because that's what it does. It doesn't charge, but it does seem to acknowledge that it's been plugged in. Also, when plugged into the computer it will still flash the plug me into Kies screen, but now my computer doesn't seem to even recognize that anything is plugged in.

It is possible. I had a phone that the data burnt out on, but would still charge. Just one pin needs to be bad to cause some issues, but not break everything.
Could just be the battery is totally empty too. Getting a known good battery with a charge is the first step to troubleshoot this.
I have encountered this problem a time or two before when testing some of my many attempted multiwindow mods, the device will in fact charge, but it is going to take forever. After a double shift I would imagine you'd have enough charge to flash properly, so try it again afterwards. Also have you attempted to return to recovery? If Odin only partially completed, your custom recovery may still be there and you might be able to use the power off option from recovery, while the device is plugged in, and possibly tricking it into not powering on to the error screen.
WARNING! Everything in blue is simply conjecture and has not been proven to work, it is simply a working theory. If it does not work don't say I didn't warn you.
I am new user at XDA and don't know how to place a question but I'll try my best to do it here.
I've Galaxy nexus with a weak battery. Before it went to a "comma" mode, I was able to access and use the phone while connecting it to a power source. Batter backup was like around 2 mins, or when a call comes, it pools down battery. One day I changed my phone to other phone just to go for a tour I was meant to go. After I came back and connected my nexus again, it didn't responded back. Charging batter using regular charger or external chargers, nothing worked out.
Checked online for a help to see if there is any solution, tried connecting the phone to PC while batter is out and then inserting battery again, or connecting in interval of 3 seconds for a luck. Nither option worked out.
Someone told me to log my issue here, and I hope I'll get some solution to it.
Here is current status:
It is still dead, not responding to restart or even hard restart (pressing power and volume up and down keys)
When I connect to PC the sound comes to confirm that something is connected to the laptop but it doesn't appear in device manager.
It seems like it's not completely dead, but not able to get it back.
Please help me out!
Hello I have a problem with my galaxy nexus. my dad's using it and yesterday while he was browsing the phone shut down e turned on only if plugged in. So today i'm trying to figure out what's the problem.
If unplugged it doesn't turn on in any way, it's like dead. When I plug it in i can only turn it on in fastboot mode but i can't enter recovery or boot the phone, if i try one of those it goes to the google logo and then turns off or return to fastboot and if i unplug the phone while it's in fastboot it turn off immediatly. I also tried to turn it on without battery and sim but nothing.
Oh and there is one thing my dad noticed yesterday. I gave my phone to my dad to subtitute his huawei y530 and copied on my GN photos, music and contacts. Yesterday when the phone turned off he said that for like half second he saw on the screen the huawei logo, and i can't understand why.
I also tried the procedure described there http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/general/bricked-gnex-brought-to-life-t1760787 but nothing.
hope someone can help me, and sorry if english is not perfect.
It might sound a bit like a battery problem here. Try to take out the battery and plug in the phone the try to start it. If it does not work, via adb try to flash a Google Factory image for GNex. This is all I csn think of right now

I can only access fastboot mode (where you have to select to start the phone normally, in recovery or reboot bootloader) and if i remove the battery the phone shuts down, no matter if it is connected to AC or USB.
If i plug the phone in to my pc usb (with phone turned off) i can hear the sound of the usb connection and after a few seconds it disconnects and keeps doing that over and over.
Hello,
I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (P605 3G+Wifi) that began to stop charging when the screen goes off. Yes, it's weird but not uncommon. All the topics I found (like this - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775833) are fixed by using the original Charger + Cable, which I already did. I even purchased from Samsung a new cable, just in case, with no luck. I also have opened the tablet and resettled all the connections (the vga flat cable and the battery connector). No luck either. :crying:
The only way I have to charge my Note is by installing an app that keeps the screen on while charge. Than it takes 10 hours to charge (with wifi, bluetooth, etc off, and brightness in the lowest) 100% but at least I can keep using my tablet.
EDIT: It also charges when turned off, but the charging speed is as slow as when on with the screen on. Only when on, I connect it to power, it starts charging, the screen goes off and, after a couple of seconds, screen comes on again and its not charging. Its like someone has pulled the charging cable.
I am tired of this and would like to have a definitive fix. If I buy a new battery, will it be fix? What is exactly the problem here? Reflash the ROM will it fix? Does any one knows?
Thanks for the help.
A full wipe and reinstall would likely fix your problem. I've been in this problem once, where the device charges under any condition, but it does so s l o w l y, no matter through what connection. Solved this by doing a NAND wipe through ODIN and re-installing all with that too.
What's your current ROM and bootloader? What kind of modifications have you done?
I'm running 5.1.1 stock rom with root only.
Will have to try that solution and reinstall all my stuff. Thanks.
Good news. Problem is solved.
So I wipe data... no luck, same problem. Download ROM and ODIN, entered in Download mode, connected the USB and... Nothing happened... only the tablet starting charging but the OS didn't detected anything. Tried other PC, same result. So the problem must be on the USB Port.
Checked this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZcwHd0wy0M
Opened the tablet and took off everything like shown there. Including USB Port, flat cable and battery. Reassembled eveything and... voila... problem solved.
Thanks.
