it will work on all 2012 xperias but i'm not sure about 2011 phones. (actually it will not work on 2012 phones too due to some missing libs .)

I'm searching still.
I found two files until now; libmbe.so and libmbe_paramselector.so (mbe = mobile bravia engine?)
Looks like they are libs of something about video, because there are "video" words inside them. But still doesn't work.

Just rename the file to Home.apk and using root explorer copy to system/app OR the easiest way: just insatall as a normal apK

The source is not yet confirmed. But it looks like it is from SONY. Cause the SONY regular widgets and other functions are working fine. Some says it is from the upcoming JB update. I'm not sure though. could be a rumor but works great on Xperia S.

Default keyboard is still there. Don't have to restore anything.
Successfully installed on CM10.1

Did you copy it there with a file explorer? You will need to overwrite the old Walkman.
Also make sure you have set the permissions correctly.

This should work for all unlocked handsets that were not previously locked to a carrier right? I currently have a locked bootloader ROM from XDA but would love to finally make a clean backup ftf of Jb.96 for my phone.

You are so lucky. Xperia ion never take update.

I have send my xs to waranty because weack signal wi fi they chang the wi fi antena and is the same grr and i have a problam i can retry the data image from the screen when they are off
