Bought my new battery from my local Sprint store last Friday. It came with the new back. Does anyone know where to find cases for these? It is the same back that johnnychimpo has in his post.

Does it charge to 100%? also does it definitely give you longer life?

As far as charging, I can't be positive, but it does show 100% on the battery app I downloaded. As far as better life, heck yeah!!! I tried my hardest to kill it today.what would have killed my stock battery, this one went 6 hours longer.

I dont use a case for mine. I have a body glove flip leather case for it with invisishield. Could you post some pics of the battery. Wondering if that sprint store is selling chinese batteries or if this one is oem or name branded. Thanks
You can buy a 2700 directly from Sprint now? Do you have a pic of it ?

I can get a pic tomorrow. I'm unsure why my Sprint store sells them, because I called 3 others near me, and my store is the only one that has them.

Did sprint give you instructions on how to charge it being that the phone can't properly charge it on its own? I find it interesting that sprint is selling extended batteries now because if they/HTC don't come up with a fix for the charging problem they are going to be getting a lot of calls!
Unfortunately, no. I'm probably gonna take it back tomorrow. I can't find a case??

Was this purchased @ a third party retailer, or the actual corp Sprint store? Do you still plan on posting a pic?
What charging problem?

check out this thread:

And if you're lucky, it'll actually be as good as the stock battery. Look around the net for tests. Most 3rd party batteries are sh*t.
Honestly, I wouldn't trust a third party battery that claims to be much better. You're far better off (and less likely to do damage) just finding some battery saving techniques.
I believe that at some point you should be able to get OFFICIAL extended battery cases for the SGS II, however. This would be a safer and more sensible alternative. See here.

Thanks, I was aware that those batteries were sh*t, but just wanted to check if someone had any experience with them.
Anyway, I'll stick with original one.
Thanks once more...

Hi,
I bought one on ebay, and it was s..t
It claim to be a 1800 mA but in fact it was a 1350 mA (written under the sticker)
The seller told me it was a mistake from his supplier...
Hey everybody, I googled extended batteries for the gs3 & came across a mugen branded extended battery. I have never heard of it till' today, & have never purchased from them before, do any of you guys have one, or know someone who does? I'm looking for an extended battery but without all the bulk, any recommendations?
I actually have this.
I can't really whether there is a difference. I feel it is about the same or slightly better. Is there an app that can measure? If so, I can let you know.

check out my thread with the anker battery tested and proven more than stock...i dont want to talk down on mugen as i have not used their battery on this phone.
isn't this battery 3.7v while stock is 3.8v? i don't think you will get much benefit from this battery over stock.

Yeah, I've always used seidio in the past, but being that the gs3 is so thin I don't wanna' turn it into a brick :/

I've heard of anker batteries before, just never used them myself, do they have nfc as well?

I don't know what link you are referring to. I bought it straight from mugen.
My advise is just get a replacement stock battery. I think the additional amount doesn't justify it.
I just can't tell the difference.

I think now would be a great time to invest in a new battery, but am not sure which one out of this lot would be the most efficient

If any of you guys have ever purchased one of these, would you kindly share your experience with them? I'm an energy hog, so maybe I'm over analyzing a bit and for that I apologize :S

Check the accessories section. Basically if you want stock battery cover then go with Anker or galaxy nexus battery. Check out other threads for the larger ones.

Just make sure you know what you are buying. I've gotten some Chinese junk before on ebay that caught electronics on fire. Not a pretty sight.
